New radiators, condensers, fans and water pumps from Dubai for export

Updated

The quick answer

We quote new radiators, air-conditioning condensers, cooling fans, water pumps and thermostats by the list, each line graded Genuine, OE-brand or Quality aftermarket. In Dubai on 3 November 2026 a 1GR-FE water pump cost AED 397 genuine against AED 214 to 229 for two aftermarket brands. Cooling parts matter most where summers are hardest, such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Djibouti. Your cargo agent collects in Dubai, and a person quotes on WhatsApp.

Key facts

  • Toyota water pump 16100-39456 for the 1GR-FE V6 cost AED 397 genuine in Dubai on 3 November 2026, against AED 229 for GMB and AED 214 for NPW.
  • Those two aftermarket pumps cost 54% to 58% of the genuine price, which makes genuine 1.7 to 1.9 times aftermarket.
  • About half of the UAE's USD 70.1 million of 2023 radiator exports were not re-exports, so some radiators sold in Dubai are UAE-made (UN Comtrade).
  • Mitribah in Kuwait recorded 53.9 degrees Celsius on 21 July 2016, as accepted by the WMO; Djibouti City averages about 42 degrees at its July maximum.
  • Cooling and air-conditioning lines were 13 of the 97 clear export enquiries we logged from July to 2 November 2026.
  • A Ghanaian trade article warns that a counterfeit 'Toyota' water pump was nearly identical to the original and fooled experienced dealers.
  • Kenya places radiators under heading 87.08 in its 10% duty band; Saudi Arabia's SASO regulation lists radiators among its certified categories.

Which cooling parts do export buyers order?

The family is radiators, air-conditioning condensers, electric and belt-driven cooling fans with their shrouds, water pumps and thermostats with their housings. Each is a part a car cannot run long without. Our own enquiries show demand: cooling and air-conditioning lines were 13 of the 97 clear export enquiries from July to 2 November 2026, and 3 of the 11 from the Caucasus, where a Georgian enquiry listed cooling beside body panels, engine and gearbox.

Customs data show the UAE as a cooling-parts source in a way it is not for most lines. Radiators under heading 870891 were USD 70.1 million of UAE exports in 2023, 6,231 tonnes, and only USD 36.1 million of that was re-exported. The rest, roughly half, left as UAE-made goods, where most other part headings are almost wholly re-exports. A radiator on a Dubai shelf can therefore be UAE-made or imported, and we ask the quote to say which.

Origin matters for the paperwork. The Dubai Chamber certificate of origin states the true origin of the goods, and under the GCC customs union a good made in a member state counts as a national good in all of them. Qatar's duty guidance says its 5 percent rate applies unless a part was made in the GCC or duty was already paid at the first GCC entry point. A UAE-made radiator for Qatar may be treated differently from an imported one, and your broker confirms how.

What does the price ladder look like for a water pump?

The measured ladder is for the water pump of the 1GR-FE 4.0 litre V6, Toyota 16100-39456, fitted to the Land Cruiser, Prado, Hilux and 4Runner. On Dubai price pages on 3 November 2026, with 5% VAT, genuine Toyota stock started at AED 397.35 from four offers. GMB, a Japanese water-pump maker, was AED 228.82, and NPW, listing T171, started at AED 214.37. No OE-brand pump from Aisin was listed on the day, so that row stays empty.

Aftermarket pumps therefore cost about 54 to 58 percent of the genuine pump, and genuine costs 1.7 to 1.9 times aftermarket. The gap is wide enough to matter on a basket of pumps, which is why each quote names the grade and brand of every line instead of a single price for a pump.

A Ghanaian trade article on spare-parts importers warns that some counterfeits are nearly identical to the original and fool experienced dealers, and gives a counterfeit 'Toyota' water pump from one supplier as its example. Its advice is to buy from suppliers you know, test samples before a bulk order and distrust prices that look too good. For a pump, a simple test is a photograph of the box with the part number legible, compared with the Toyota catalogue entry for your engine.

Which markets run hot, and what does heat ask of the parts?

The Gulf is the hard case. Mitribah in Kuwait recorded 54.0 degrees Celsius on 21 July 2016, a reading the World Meteorological Organization corrected to 53.9 with an uncertainty of 0.1, which Wikipedia calls the second-highest temperature reliably recorded on Earth. Djibouti City, a hot-desert city, has a mean daily maximum of about 42 degrees Celsius in July and August. A cooling system in that heat has little margin, so a weak pump or a blocked core shows quickly.

GCC-spec cars are built for it. Dealer blogs summarised in search results, which we could not open in full, put the difference between GCC and US specifications mostly in cooling, corrosion protection and trim, and our research notes flag cooling packs as one place a GCC-spec part can differ from the same model elsewhere. A radiator or condenser should therefore be matched to the car's VIN and options, with or without air conditioning, not to the model name.

Kuwait shows what a shortage does. Kuwait Times reported in July 2026 a severe spare-parts shortage tied to the Hormuz crisis and higher shipping costs, with dealers keeping genuine parts for their own workshops and repairs costing more. Kuwait's fleet was 2.52 million vehicles at the end of 2023, the Land Cruiser, Prado and Nissan Patrol were the three models that sold most there in 2025, and the United States supplies 16.6 percent of its parts imports, so Ford and Chevrolet cooling parts matter as well.

Genuine, OE-brand or aftermarket: what changes for cooling parts?

OE-brand cooling parts come from firms that supply the carmaker. The Dubai trade table lists Denso, Aisin and Valeo among the OE-brand names, and Wikipedia describes Valeo's Thermal Systems business as covering engine cooling, with sales to automakers and the aftermarket. Quality aftermarket names include GMB and NPW for pumps. Which maker supplies a given Toyota part is a part-number question, and we claim no brand for any line until a person has checked it.

Fit is more exact than it looks. Catalogue entries for one model can differ by engine, by manual or automatic gearbox and by air-conditioning fitment, and a radiator's core size and a condenser's connections follow those options. Our research notes read radiators as parts that usually fit right-hand-drive versions of the same model and engine, core size permitting, so a Kenyan or Zimbabwean buyer can order by engine code and part number.

How are radiators, condensers and pumps packed?

Radiators and condensers are mostly air and thin fins, so they are light and bulky, and the fins bend under load. Each goes in its own carton with a rigid face, nothing is stacked on it and it travels the way up the carton shows. A fan and shroud assembly is bulky plastic. Water pumps and thermostats are the opposite: small, dense and cheap to freight, so they fill the gaps in a basket beside the large pieces.

Freight follows volume. DHL's 2026 UAE rate guide divides length times width times height in centimetres by 5,000, so an illustrative radiator carton of 70 by 50 by 15 centimetres, 52,500 cubic centimetres, is billed as 10.5 kilograms whatever it weighs. That is our arithmetic, not a measured part. The Comtrade figure of USD 70.1 million for 6,231 tonnes of radiators works out at about USD 11 a kilogram, which is enough value to justify careful packing.

Fluids stay out of the basket. Coolant and refrigerant are fluids, air carriers ask extra questions about them, and a dry radiator, condenser or pump raises none of those questions. Say on the packing list that the units are dry, and tell your agent before it books if any line is not. Sea groupage is more forgiving than air, but the agent still needs the facts.

What to send for a cooling-parts quote

Send the VIN, the engine code and whether the car has air conditioning and an automatic gearbox, since those change the radiator and condenser. Give the part name and, if the old part shows a number, the number. For a water pump, send the engine code, such as 1GR-FE, because pumps are listed by engine. Say which country the parts go to, name your cargo agent and list six or more parts.

A person replies on WhatsApp with each line by grade and brand, says whether a radiator is UAE-made or imported, and flags lines that cannot be had in your quantity. How to pay is confirmed in that chat. Your agent collects in Dubai against a packing list that matches the cartons; the commercial invoice carries a customs code for each line and the certificate of origin states the true origin.

UAE parts shops that export

These shops are here because our record of each one lists exporting, sending parts outside the UAE, among what it offers, and records stock that covers cooling or their parts. It is a record of what they told us or published, not a check that they send parts to your country today or of what is on the shelf, and none of them has paid to be here. Ask how the part reaches you, and who handles the export paperwork, before you pay.

Questions buyers ask

How much cheaper is an aftermarket water pump than a genuine one?
On the 1GR-FE pump, Toyota 16100-39456, Dubai prices on 3 November 2026 with VAT were AED 397.35 genuine, AED 228.82 for GMB and AED 214.37 for NPW, so aftermarket cost 54 to 58 percent of genuine. Each quote shows the same number in each grade it can supply, with the brand named.
Do radiators fit right-hand-drive cars?
Often, if the engine, gearbox and options match. Our research reads radiators as parts that usually fit right-hand-drive versions of the same model and engine, core size permitting. We quote by part number and VIN rather than by model, and a person checks the number before you pay.
Which cooling parts do you quote?
New radiators, air-conditioning condensers, electric and belt-driven fans with shrouds, water pumps and thermostats with housings. Each line is graded Genuine, OE-brand or Quality aftermarket. We do not supply used or reconditioned radiators or pumps.
Are UAE-made radiators available?
Possibly. UN Comtrade shows about half of the UAE's 2023 radiator exports were not re-exports, so some radiators sold in Dubai are UAE-made. Ask the quote to say which a line is. Origin appears on the certificate of origin, and some GCC duty treatment depends on it.
Why does a radiator carton cost more to ship than it weighs?
Carriers bill the greater of weight and volume. With the DHL 2026 UAE divisor of 5,000, a 70 by 50 by 15 centimetre carton is charged as 10.5 kilograms. Other agents may use a different divisor, so ask yours before you choose carton sizes and decide how many radiators go in one box.
How hot does it get in the markets you serve?
Mitribah in Kuwait recorded 54.0 degrees Celsius on 21 July 2016, corrected by the WMO to 53.9. Djibouti City averages about 42 degrees at its July daily maximum. Cars in that heat leave little margin in the cooling system, so quote pumps and radiators with the car's air-conditioning option.
What duty applies to radiators in Kenya and Saudi Arabia?
Kenya's East African tariff puts every line under heading 87.08, which includes radiators, in the 10% band, as read in the 2022 schedule updated in June 2025, with its fee, levy and VAT added. Saudi Arabia charges 15% VAT, and its SASO regulation names radiators among its certified categories.
Can I mix radiators with lamps and service parts in one order?
Yes. A basket can mix cooling parts, lamps, body panels and service parts on one list, quoted line by line, with six or more parts in total. Mixing helps freight, because small dense parts such as pumps fill the gaps around bulky radiators in the carton plan.
