New bumpers, fenders, bonnets and doors from Dubai for export
Updated
The quick answer
We quote new bumpers, fenders, bonnets, doors, grilles and mirrors by the list, each line graded. GCC-spec panels are made for left-hand-drive cars, so they suit the Gulf, Iraq, the Caucasus and other left-hand-drive markets by part number or VIN; right-hand-drive buyers are quoted by their own part numbers only. Panels are bulky and light, so volume decides the freight. Your cargo agent collects in Dubai, and a person quotes on WhatsApp.
Key facts
- 26 of the 97 clear export enquiries we logged from July to 2 November 2026 asked for body panels or bumpers, the biggest single group.
- UAE-reported 2023 exports under heading 8708 included bumpers at USD 121.4 million and other body parts at USD 333.1 million (UN Comtrade).
- Japan supplied only 11% of the UAE's bumper imports in 2022, against 45% for clutches, so the maker of a Dubai bumper has to be named (JETRO).
- Georgia has been a stop for damaged US cars sold off by insurers since 2006, and its fleet of 1,912,866 cars is led by Mercedes, Toyota and Ford.
- Rwanda has banned right-hand-drive cars since 2005 and Madagascar bans them too, so left-hand-drive parts match the cars on their roads.
- Most goods enter Georgia at 0% duty with 18% VAT, but the band for body parts could not be confirmed; the buyer pays duty at home.
- DHL's 2026 UAE rate guide bills a piece at length times width times height in centimetres divided by 5,000 when that exceeds its weight.

Which new body panels do export buyers ask us for?
The family covers bumper covers and reinforcements, fenders, bonnets, doors, grilles and exterior mirrors, with the lamps that sit in them quoted on a separate page. Our own enquiries show the pull. Of 97 clear export enquiries from July to 2 November 2026, 26 asked for body panels or bumpers, more than any other group. In the Gulf and Iraq the figure was 9 of 31, and in the Caucasus 5 of 11.
Those enquiries look like collision repair and personalisation on varied cars. Saudi enquiries paired Dodge and Jeep models with body panels and lights, Iraqi traders' lists ran from BMW and Mercedes headlights to handwritten lists of bumpers and lights, and one wholesale enquiry from the Caucasus asked for five of every panel. Toyota work trucks for Africa show up only weakly. This is a body-parts trade across mixed makes, which is why a quote is built from the VIN.
The Comtrade numbers say the UAE is a real source. For 2023 the UAE reported exporting USD 121.4 million of bumpers, 9,940 tonnes, and USD 333.1 million of other body parts, 35,312 tonnes. Re-exports were 99 percent of the bumper figure and 91 percent of the other body parts. Japan supplied only 11 percent of the UAE's bumper imports in 2022, against 45 percent of its clutch imports, so a Dubai bumper is usually not a Japanese-made one.
Which left-hand-drive markets take GCC-spec panels as they are?
GCC-spec panels belong on left-hand-drive cars. Saudi Arabia bans right-hand-drive cars, Rwanda has banned them since 2005, Madagascar bans them too, and Iraq's Kurdistan Region bans them as well, so the cars on those roads are built for left-hand traffic. The Gulf, Iraq, the Caucasus and Egypt run left-hand-drive fleets in our research. A GCC-spec fender, bonnet or door for a model sold there will usually match, and the VIN or part number settles it.
Ghana is the caution. A Ghanaian trade article on container importers lists body panels among the slow movers, behind pads, filters, belts and headlamps, so a panel load there is a filler line, not the engine of the order. Ghana drives on the right, so fit is not the issue; turnover is. The article is a single source, and we use it as a pointer, not a measurement.
| Market | Fleet and drive side | Check on a panel |
|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | Toyota 28.6% and Hyundai 15.9% of 2025 new sales; right-hand-drive cars banned | Importer's view on mirrors under SASO |
| Iraq | 8.29 million registered vehicles; Kurdistan bans right-hand-drive cars | Trader lists by VIN; Kurdistan has its own import rules |
| Georgia | 1.91 million cars; Mercedes 11.7%, Toyota 10.5%, Ford 9.4% | US-spec or GCC-spec; part number or VIN only |
| Azerbaijan | New sales 68% Chinese in 2025; Toyota fourth | Older Toyota, Hyundai and Mercedes stock needs the panels |

How does Georgia's repair trade use new panels?
Georgia has been a stop for damaged American cars sold off by insurers since 2006, according to Georgia Today in 2023, with the value added by renewing and servicing them. Re-exports of vehicles reached about 93,000 cars worth USD 2.3 billion in the first ten months of 2025. Georgia's registered fleet of 1,912,866 cars is led by Mercedes at 11.7 percent, Toyota at 10.5, Ford at 9.4, VAZ at 8.0 and Opel at 7.7.
Crash repair consumes bumpers, fenders, bonnets, lamps and radiators, and that is where new panels fit. Nothing in our notes says which of these Georgian repairers buy from Dubai: China supplies 32 percent of Georgia's vehicle parts imports, Turkey 17.4, Germany 14.4 and the UAE 9.2, in fourth place. The UAE is a real but not dominant source, so a quote has to win on fit and on one list with other parts, not on price alone.
Fit is the catch. A GCC-spec panel is not guaranteed to match a US-spec car, because bumper systems, side markers and lamp approvals can differ even where the model name is the same. UAE dealer blogs, in search summaries we could not open in full, say GCC and US specifications differ mostly in cooling, corrosion protection and trim, with shared platforms and often interchangeable components. Read that as a reason to quote Georgian body parts by VIN and part number only.
Sanctions shape what we quote. US export controls on Russia cover almost all of chapter 87, including bumpers under 8708.10, and cars routed from Georgia to Central Asia have been reported to end up in Russia. A Georgian or Azerbaijani buyer is therefore screened and asked who the end user is, and we decline any order meant for onward shipment beyond Georgia and Azerbaijan. Goods bound for Baku go through Georgia, never through Iran.
Does a GCC-spec panel fit a right-hand-drive car?
Not by promise. Body panels carry fewer drive-side differences than steering or dashboard parts, but GCC-spec differences in bumpers, lamps and cooling packs, and fixings made only for right-hand-drive cars, make a fit unsafe to guarantee from a left-hand-drive car. Exterior mirrors carry sided glass. For right-hand-drive markets such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and South Africa we quote new aftermarket panels by the right-hand-drive part number, not GCC-spec stock.
New aftermarket panels are made for right-hand-drive versions of many models, so a Kenyan or Zimbabwean buyer is not shut out, but the part number has to be the right-hand-drive one. Send the VIN and photographs of the panel's mounting points and of any fog-lamp or sensor openings, because the same model's bumper cover is often listed in more than one version by trim. A fender is left or right by definition, so say which.
What does the price ladder say about panels?
We have not measured a Dubai price ladder for body panels, so this page quotes no panel prices. The two ladders we did measure, front brake pads and a water pump, put OE-brand and quality aftermarket parts at roughly half to two thirds of the genuine price. Do not read those ratios across to panels: they are two parts, not a market. Each quote names the grade and brand of every panel so that you can compare lines yourself.
Grade matters for panels because the same shape can come from the carmaker, from a firm that supplies the carmaker, or from a replacement-parts maker. A genuine panel comes in the carmaker's box with its part number. A Quality aftermarket panel is sold under its maker's own name and number. A quote shows whichever of the three grades the UAE distributors hold for that line, and a panel with no maker's name or number on its carton is a reason to ask questions before paying.
How are bumpers and fenders packed, and why does volume rule?
Panels are large and light, so volume sets the freight. DHL's 2026 UAE rate guide bills each piece at length times width times height in centimetres divided by 5,000, if that exceeds its weight. A carton of 150 by 50 by 40 centimetres is 300,000 cubic centimetres, or 60 kilograms billed, even if it holds a 6 kilogram bumper cover. That is our arithmetic on an illustrative carton, not a measured bumper, but it shows why cartons should be no larger than the panel needs.
The same guide lists an AED 87 surcharge on a piece whose longest side exceeds 100 centimetres or second side exceeds 80 centimetres, another AED 87 for a piece not in a corrugated box, and AED 430 for a piece over 70 kilograms. A bonnet or a door often crosses the 100 centimetre line. Your agent may not use DHL, so ask for its oversize rules on the day you book: a long panel can cost extra, and the carton you choose affects it.
For sea freight, a 40 ft container costs only about 6 percent more than a 20 ft on Alliance Shipping's published Jebel Ali to Baku rates, USD 5,814 against USD 5,507, so a full load of panels is cheaper per carton in the larger box. Container traffic through Hormuz was still almost at a standstill on 2 September 2026, according to Semafor, and the November position is unknown, so Gulf buyers should ask their agent about the road through Saudi Arabia. We give no transit times.
Protect corners and mounting tabs, keep bumper covers flat and unstacked, and never pack one panel inside another without padding. Photograph each carton's label and each panel's part-number sticker before the carton is closed, because those photographs settle a damage dispute. Keep the maker's own carton where one exists; it is the cheapest protection a panel has.
What to send for a body panel quote
Send the VIN, the panel name and the side, left or right as the driver sits, plus the part number if the old panel shows one. Add the trim and options that change the part, such as fog lamps or parking sensors, and photographs of the area. Tell us which drive side your market uses, how many of each panel you want and whether the order mixes several makes. A wholesale list is welcome; a single bumper is not what we quote.
A person replies on WhatsApp with each panel by grade, the maker's name and part number, and flags any line the UAE market cannot supply in your quantity. A person confirms how to pay in the same chat. Your cargo agent then collects in Dubai against a packing list that matches the cartons, and the commercial invoice carries a customs code for every line.

- Your own cargo agent or forwarder collects the parts in Dubai and ships them on. We do not ship abroad, book destination inspections or clear customs at your end.
- Before you pay, ask for photos of the parts with their part numbers in view.
UAE parts shops that export
These shops are here because our record of each one lists exporting, sending parts outside the UAE, among what it offers, and records stock that covers body parts or their parts. It is a record of what they told us or published, not a check that they send parts to your country today or of what is on the shelf, and none of them has paid to be here. Ask how the part reaches you, and who handles the export paperwork, before you pay.

Questions buyers ask
- Do GCC-spec bumpers fit cars in Iraq or Georgia?
- They fit left-hand-drive cars of the same model, year and trim, which describes most of Iraq's fleet and the Gulf-built models in Georgia. US-built cars in Georgia can differ in bumper systems, side markers and lamps, so we quote by VIN and part number and say so when a part is a different specification.
- Can I order body panels for a right-hand-drive car?
- Yes, new, by the right-hand-drive part number. We do not offer GCC-spec stock as a fit for right-hand-drive cars, because lamps, mirrors, cooling packs and fixings can differ. Send the VIN and photographs, and a person checks the number before quoting.
- Do you supply used or damaged panels?
- We do not supply used body parts. Export is new parts only, in Genuine, OE-brand or Quality aftermarket grades, and some markets restrict used panels anyway: Saudi Arabia allows a used outer body only if it is certified as refurbished, and Mauritius prohibits second-hand body shells.
- What is the minimum order for panels?
- A list of six or more parts. Bumpers, fenders and bonnets are bulky, so a single panel costs more to freight than many buyers expect. A wholesale enquiry that asks for several of each panel across a few models is the shape of order we quote.
- How does a cargo agent charge for a bumper?
- By the greater of actual weight and volume. DHL's 2026 UAE guide divides length times width times height in centimetres by 5,000, so a 150 by 50 by 40 centimetre carton is billed as 60 kilograms. Other agents may use a different divisor, so ask yours before you choose carton sizes.
- Do Saudi buyers need a certificate for new panels?
- Saudi Arabia's SASO regulation for auto spare parts names rear-view mirrors, vehicle glass and lamps among its categories, and the certificates are held by the Saudi importer through SABER. The list we read does not name bumpers or fenders, so ask your importer part by part before ordering.
- Is it cheaper to buy panels from China or Turkey?
- Sometimes. China and Turkey supply 32 and 17.4 percent of Georgia's vehicle parts imports, ahead of the UAE at 9.2, which suggests Georgian buyers shop on price. A Dubai quote earns its place when the panel must match a GCC-spec or US-spec car by part number, or when it sits on one list with lamps, radiators and service parts.
