Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V, Pilot and Fit parts from Dubai for export
Updated
The quick answer
Honda owners and parts traders in Nigeria, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Georgia and the Gulf can send an Accord, Civic, CR-V, Pilot or Fit list in one WhatsApp message, and each new line is priced by a person as genuine, OE-brand or quality aftermarket. Honda's K, R, L and J engine families change by generation, so the code on the engine and the VIN decide the match. Your own cargo agent collects in Dubai.
Key facts
- Seven of our 97 clear export enquiries, and 17 of 484 sellable foreign phone numbers, named a Honda: the Accord three times, the Civic twice.
- Wikipedia says Honda launched the eighth-generation Accord for the GCC at a Dubai event on 6 November 2007, with a 2.4 litre four or a 3.5 litre V6.
- The eleventh-generation Accord reached the Middle East on 23 July 2023 with a 1.5 litre turbo petrol and a 2.0 litre e:HEV hybrid.
- Wikipedia's J-series article says every J engine has a single timing belt, so belt, tensioner and pump lines belong on a V6 list, in our reading.
- Georgia's Service Agency counted 71,274 Hondas among 1,912,866 registered cars in May 2025, 3.7% of the total.
- Honda uses Jazz in the Middle East and Africa and Fit in Japan, China, Taiwan and the Americas, so one car carries two names in catalogues.
- Press summaries call the Honda Fit one of Zimbabwe's most visible cars; no registration counts by model exist, so we give none.
- No Honda prices are printed here; a person prices each line on WhatsApp and names its grade.

Which Honda generation and model code is yours?
The Accord is the Honda we are asked about most. Wikipedia's engine articles list the K20A, K24A and J30A in the Accord of 2003 to 2007, and its model article says Honda launched the eighth generation, the CP codes, for the GCC at a Dubai event on 6 November 2007, with a 2.4 litre four or a 3.5 litre V6. The ninth, from 2012, lists the CR1, CR2 and CR3 sedans with R20Z, K24W and J35Y engines, and its coupe was sold in North America and the Middle East only.
In the eighth generation Wikipedia names the K24Z2 at 177 bhp for the LX, the K24Z3 at 190 bhp for the EX and the 3.5 litre J35Z2 V6 at 268 bhp. The tenth is the CV1 to CV3, with a 1.5 litre turbo, L15BE or L15BG, a 2.0 litre turbo K20C4 and a hybrid. The eleventh was launched in the Middle East on 23 July 2023 in LX, EX and EXL petrol trims and Sport and EXL hybrid trims. Egypt's tenth-generation car used the L15BE rated 188 hp.
Civic codes run FD, FA and FG for 2005 to 2012, FB and FG for 2012 to 2015, and FC and FK for 2016 to 2021. Wikipedia lists the 1.8 litre R18A1 for the first, the R18Z1 for the second and, in the FC, the 1.5 litre turbo L15B7 on the FC1 and FC3 and the R18Z1 on the FC6. Egypt received the FC in 2017, imported from Turkey with a 1.6 litre R16B in both trims, and the article says Egyptian Honda dealers no longer sold it by 2023.
The CR-V has run six generations. The K engine article lists the 2.4 litre K24Z1 in the RE3 and RE4 of 2007 to 2009 and the K24Z6 in 2010 to 2011, and the R engine article lists the 2.0 litre R20A in the RE1, RE2 and RE5 and the R20A6 in the RM1 and RM2 of 2012 to 2016. The Pilot is the YF1 and YF2 from 2003, YF3 and YF4 from 2009, YF5 and YF6 from 2016 and YG1 and YG2 from 2023, all on 3.5 litre J35 V6 engines; the first was sold as the MR-V in the Middle East.
| Model | Codes and years | Engines the articles name |
|---|---|---|
| Accord | Seventh 2002; CP 2008 to 2012; CR and CT 2013 to 2017; CV 2018 to 2022; eleventh from 2023 | K24A, J30A; K24Z2, K24Z3, J35Z2; R20Z1, K24W1, J35Y1; L15BE, K20C4 |
| Civic | FD, FA, FG 2006 to 2011; FB 2012 to 2015; FC and FK 2016 to 2021 | R18A1; R18Z1; L15B7 and R18Z1; R16B in Egypt |
| CR-V | RE from 2007; RM from 2012; fifth 2017; sixth 2023 | K24Z1, K24Z6, R20A1; R20A6, K24W9 |
| Pilot | YF1 and YF2 2003; YF3 and YF4 2009; YF5 and YF6 2016; YG1 and YG2 2023 | J35A4, J35Z4, J35Y6, J35Y8 |
| Fit and Jazz | GD and GE 2001; GE and GG 2007; GK, GH and GP 2013; GR and GS 2020 | L13A, L15A; L13Z, L15A7; L13B, L15B; LEB hybrid |
What do the K, R, L and J engine codes mean on a Honda?
The K family is the Accord and CR-V four. Wikipedia gives the K24 as 2,354 cc with an 87 by 99 mm bore and stroke, and the K20 as 1,998 cc at 86 by 86 mm. It lists the K24Z2 at 177 hp and the K24Z3 at 190 hp in the 2008 to 2012 Accord, the K24Z1 at 166 hp in the 2007 to 2009 CR-V, and the K24W9 at 185 hp in the 2015 to 2019 CR-V. The K20C turbo is a separate engine of 1,996 cc, in the 2018 to 2022 Accord.
R is the older Civic and CR-V family. The R18 is 1,799 cc at 81 by 87.3 mm and the R20 is 1,997 cc at 81 by 96.9 mm, with the R20A also listed in some Accords. The L family covers the Fit, Jazz and City: the L13A is 1,339 cc, the L15A is 1,497 cc at 73 by 89.4 mm, and the L15B7 turbo is rated 176 PS in the Civic FC. The article lists the Fit hybrid, the GP5 and GP6, with the LEB-H1 engine.
J is the V6 family, and it is belt driven. Wikipedia's J engine article gives the J35 as 3,471 cc at 89 by 93 mm, says all J engines use a single timing belt, and lists the J35Z4 in the 2009 to 2015 Pilot, the J35Y6 in the 2016 to 2022 Pilot and the J35Y1 in the 2013 to 2017 Accord. A V6 list therefore usually carries a belt, a tensioner and a water pump, the parts changed together, in our reading.
The same articles do not say whether the K, R and L fours use belts or chains, so we do not assume. A person confirms the timing drive from the engine code before quoting any timing kit, and flags a line that cannot be settled from the code and the VIN rather than guessing.
| Code | What the article gives | Models it names |
|---|---|---|
| K24Z3 | 2.4 litre petrol four, 2,354 cc, 190 hp | Accord 2008 to 2012 EX; TSX |
| K24W9 | 2.4 litre petrol four, 2,356 cc, 185 hp | CR-V 2015 to 2019 |
| R18Z1 | 1.8 litre petrol four, 1,799 cc, 145 PS | Civic FB, FG, FC6 and FK5 |
| R20A | 2.0 litre petrol four, 1,997 cc, 152 to 157 PS | CR-V RE and RM; Accord |
| L15A7 | 1.5 litre petrol four, 1,497 cc, 120 PS | Fit GE8 and GE9; Jazz; Freed |
| L15B7 | 1.5 litre turbo four, 1,497 cc, 176 PS | Civic FC1 and FC3, 2016 to 2021 |
| J35Z2 | 3.5 litre V6, 3,471 cc, 268 hp, belt driven | Accord EX and EX-L V6 from 2008 |
| J35Y6 | 3.5 litre V6, 3,471 cc, 290 hp, belt driven | Pilot 2016 to 2022; Odyssey |
Where do Honda owners need new parts, and what do they drive?
Nigeria is the clearest Honda market in our notes, although it is a parts market more than a new-car market: 6,358 new light vehicles were sold there in 2024. A paid Mordor Intelligence report, seen only in summary, lists the Accord with the Corolla and Camry among the common sedans, and Nairametrics' September 2025 guide to Lagos names Oyingbo as best known for Honda spares. A City People feature of August 2026 says Lagos dealers keep a Toyota and Honda corner. New brake pads need SONCAP, and a Form M comes first.
Zimbabwe's Honda is the Fit. Press summaries call the Fit and the Toyota Aqua the most visible cars there, with the Vezel and the Nissan Note also named. These are mostly Japanese-market cars, so Wikipedia's L engine article is the guide: the GE6 and GE7 carry the L13Z, the GE8 and GE9 the L15A7, the GK3 and GK4 the L13B, the GK5 and GK6 the L15B, and the hybrid GP5 and GP6 the LEB-H1. They are right-hand drive, so side-specific parts are quoted by part number only.
In the Gulf the names change. Honda uses Jazz in the Middle East and Africa and Fit in Japan and the Americas, and Wikipedia says the first-generation Pilot was the MR-V in the Middle East. The Accord is the Gulf's main Honda. Iraq is thinner: one of the eight clear Iraqi enquiries we hold was a Honda list, and it asked for Civic drive shafts, so a Gulf shop is not the only buyer who needs the drivetrain lines.
Georgia counts its cars by make. The Service Agency reported 71,274 Hondas among 1,912,866 registered cars in May 2025, 3.7% of the total, just behind Nissan's 71,497 and ahead of Mitsubishi's 56,792. Egypt's tenth-generation Accord used the 1.5 litre L15BE, so an engine list written for a Gulf 2.4 litre car will not fit it. In both countries the VIN comes before the part.
| Country | Signal in the sources | What we quote |
|---|---|---|
| Nigeria | Oyingbo known for Honda spares; Accord named in our research notes | Filters, pads, suspension arms, mounts and lamps by VIN; SONCAP applies to pads |
| Zimbabwe | Fit named as one of the most visible cars | Service parts, brakes and suspension by number; CBCA above US$1,000 FOB |
| Georgia | 71,274 Hondas on the road, 3.7% | Accord, Civic and CR-V service and body parts |
| Egypt | Civic imported from Turkey from 2017; tenth Accord on the L15BE | Filters, pads and cooling parts by VIN; ACI filing |
| Gulf and Iraq | Accord, Pilot sold as the MR-V, Civic | Genuine and OE-brand lines first; lamps and body parts by VIN |
Which new Honda parts do buyers order, system by system?
Honda lists from abroad are service-heavy. Filters, spark plugs and ignition coils follow the engine code. Brake pads and discs follow the trim and axle. Suspension arms, links, bushes and springs follow the generation. Cooling parts follow the engine family, because R and L fours, K fours and J V6s have different radiators and pumps. Lamps and bumpers change with the facelift year, so the build month matters as much on a Honda as on any other make.
Timing parts are where Honda lists go wrong. The J-series has a single timing belt according to Wikipedia, so a V6 Accord or Pilot list should carry the belt kit and the water pump together. The articles we read are silent on the K, R and L fours, so the drive is confirmed from the engine code before a kit is quoted. We know of no public numbering rule we can cite for Honda parts, so a person matches by the number printed on your old part and the VIN.
| System | What a list can carry | What decides the part |
|---|---|---|
| Service | Oil, air and cabin filters, spark plugs, drive belts | Engine code: K24, R18, L15 or J35 |
| Brakes | Pad sets, discs, calipers, hoses | Trim and axle; Nigeria's SONCAP touches new pads |
| Suspension | Arms, links, bushes, springs, mounts | Generation code, such as FC, RM or CV |
| Cooling | Radiators, water pumps, thermostats, hoses | Engine family, and automatic or manual |
| Engine | Gasket sets, piston and ring sets, bearings, timing parts | Exact code: K24Z3 against K24W9, J35Z2 against J35Y1 |
| Drivetrain | CV joints, drive shafts, clutch kits, wheel bearings | Gearbox, and front or all-wheel drive |
| Lamps and body | Headlamps, tail lamps, bumpers, grilles, mirrors | Facelift year and drive side |
How do genuine, OE-brand and aftermarket Honda parts compare?
A pad ladder shows why a Honda quote names the brand. Dubai counter prices for Toyota's front pad set 04465-60380 on 3 November 2026, VAT included, ran from AED 322 for the genuine set to AED 216 for MK Kashiyama, a Japanese brake brand, and AED 58 to 73 for budget pads. We have not measured a Honda ladder in Dubai and print no Honda price. The ratios only show how far apart the grades can sit.
The word genuine proves little by itself, since one budget pad listing in Dubai calls itself genuine quality at AED 58. On every Honda line we therefore name the brand on the box, the number on the part and the label. Genuine is Honda-branded. OE-brand comes from a firm that supplies Honda or another carmaker directly, and the quote prints that firm's own name, with Denso and Aisin as examples from our report. Quality aftermarket is a named independent brand built to the original's dimensions.
Preferences differ by market, and buyers rarely state one: six in ten of our clear enquiries used no grade word. Our regional reading puts Georgia on aftermarket for older cars, because China and Turkey supply new parts cheaply there, and Nigeria on aftermarket wear parts with genuine for fleets. Ask for two grades on the same line and your agent sees the gap in dirhams before the order is final.
What should you send to match a Honda exactly?
Honda sells different cars under one name. The Gulf Accord is listed with 2.4 litre and 3.5 litre engines, the Egyptian tenth-generation car used a 1.5 litre turbo, and the Fit sold in Japan is not the Jazz sold in the Gulf. Send the 17-character VIN, the engine code, the model code such as CP, CR, CV, FC or RM, the build month, the gearbox type and a photograph of the old part with its number.
Before you pay, read each quoted line for three things: the brand and the grade, the Honda number printed beside it, and the generation it was matched to. Ask for photographs of the parts with their numbers, and agree with your agent how and when the goods are collected in Dubai. A person confirms how to pay on WhatsApp. Quotes are by the list, at trade quantities; one or two pieces is not an order we take.

UAE parts shops that export
These shops are here because our record of each one lists exporting, sending parts outside the UAE, among what it offers, and names Honda among the makes it covers. It is a record of what they told us or published, not a check that they send parts to your country today or of what is on the shelf, and none of them has paid to be here. Ask how the part reaches you, and who handles the export paperwork, before you pay.

Questions buyers ask
- Which engine does the Gulf Honda Accord use?
- Wikipedia says the eighth-generation Accord was launched for the GCC on 6 November 2007 with a 2.4 litre four or a 3.5 litre V6, and its North American table names the K24Z2, K24Z3 and J35Z2. The eleventh generation, launched in the Middle East on 23 July 2023, offers a 1.5 litre turbo or a 2.0 litre hybrid. Send the engine code and VIN.
- Do all Honda J-series V6 engines have a timing belt?
- Wikipedia's J engine article says every J-series engine is petrol, has four valves per cylinder and uses a single timing belt to drive the camshafts. It lists the J35Z4 in the 2009 to 2015 Pilot and the J35Y1 in the 2013 to 2017 Accord. A person quotes the belt, tensioner and water pump together after checking the engine code.
- Is the Honda Fit the same car as the Jazz?
- Not always. Honda uses Jazz in the Middle East and Africa and Fit in Japan, China, Taiwan and the Americas, and Wikipedia says the third-generation Fit hybrid was marketed only in Japan and Malaysia. Send the chassis code, such as GE8 or GK5, and the engine code, and a person matches each line by number before quoting it.
- Can I get parts for a Honda Fit in Zimbabwe from Dubai?
- Yes, matched by part number. Press summaries call the Fit one of Zimbabwe's most visible cars, but it is a Japanese-market, right-hand-drive car, so filters, brake parts and suspension are matched by number and steering racks are quoted by number only. Zimbabwe's CBCA certificate applies above US$1,000 FOB, and your agent books it, not us.
- Does the Egyptian Honda Civic use the same parts as other markets?
- Not necessarily. Wikipedia says Egypt's tenth-generation Civic was imported from Turkey from 2017 with a 1.6 litre R16B in both trims, and that Egyptian Honda dealers no longer sold it by 2023. An engine list written for another market's Civic may not fit it, so send the VIN and a person checks each engine and lamp line.
- Can I add a battery or an airbag to my Honda list?
- No. Carriers can treat batteries, airbag modules, belt pretensioners, gas-charged shocks, fluids and aerosols as dangerous goods, so they stay off export quotes. Filters, brake parts, springs, bushes, arms, belts, bearings, cooling parts, gasket sets and lamps can be quoted by number, with the grade named on each line.
- Do you supply used Honda engines or gearboxes?
- No, and we do not offer them on request. Easy Auto exports new genuine, OE-brand and quality aftermarket parts. For a Honda engine a person quotes new gasket sets, piston and ring sets, bearings and timing parts against the code on your engine, and we do not supply used or rebuilt engines, gearboxes or half-cuts.
- What is the smallest Honda order you will quote?
- We quote by the list at trade quantities, not for one or two pieces. A list covering several Hondas, with filters, pads, arms, belts and gasket sets, is the right shape. Put the whole list in one WhatsApp message with the VINs, and a person tells you whether it is the right size to quote.
