Dodge Charger, Challenger, Durango, Ram and Jeep parts from Dubai for export
Updated
The quick answer
Gulf and Iraqi trade buyers can send a list of new lamps, body panels, trim and mechanical parts for Dodge, Ram and Jeep vehicles built in North America. Our own Gulf enquiries ask mostly for exactly those lines. Each line needs the VIN and the Mopar number. A person quotes on WhatsApp and names the grade: Mopar genuine, OE-brand or quality aftermarket. Your own cargo agent collects in Dubai.
Key facts
- Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep are named in 7 of the 97 clear export enquiries we logged, and Charger, Challenger or Durango in 3 of them.

Which Dodge, Ram and Jeep generations do Gulf buyers drive?
Our Gulf enquiries name the Charger, Challenger and Durango, and the Jeep Cherokee twice. Behind those names sit a handful of generations. The Charger returned in 2006 as the LX, became the LD in 2011 with the 3.6 Pentastar V6 and ended with the 2023 model year, when Wikipedia says the Hemi V8s were retired. The Challenger of 2008 to 2023 used a shortened LX platform shared with the Charger, the Magnum and the Chrysler 300, and its last car was completed on 22 December 2023.
The Durango and the Jeep Grand Cherokee are cousins. Wikipedia says the 2011 Durango is built on the same WK2 platform as the Grand Cherokee, that the two share the Jefferson North assembly line in Detroit, and that they share running gear, powertrains and chassis parts, with the Durango on a slightly longer wheelbase. The Wrangler is a separate body-on-frame truck, the JK from 2007 and the JL from 2018, built at Toledo, Ohio.
| Model | Codes and years | Engines the sources name |
|---|---|---|
| Charger | LX 2006 to 2010, LD 2011 to 2023 | LX: 2.7 and 3.5 V6, 5.7 and 6.1 Hemi. LD: 3.6 Pentastar from 2011, 5.7 Hemi, a 470 hp 6.4 litre in the Scat Pack, Hellcat Redeye from 2020 |
| Challenger | 2008 to 2023, a derivative of the LX platform | Wikipedia's page names no production engines; the final car was completed at Brampton |
| Durango | Third generation from 2011 | 3.6 Pentastar, 5.7 Hemi, 6.4 Hemi in the SRT 392 from 2018 to 2024, 6.2 supercharged Hemi |
| Grand Cherokee | WK2 2011 to 2021, WL from 2021 | WK2: 3.6 Pentastar, 5.7 Hemi, 6.4 SRT, 6.2 Trackhawk. WL: 3.6 with eTorque, 5.7 Hemi to 2023, 2.0 litre turbo hybrid |

What do Saudi, Iraqi and Kuwaiti buyers ask for?
Saudi Arabia is where the Dodge enquiries concentrate. Three of the 14 clear Saudi enquiries named Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep, two of them for the Charger, Challenger or Durango. Across all 14 the parts named were body panels (5), lighting (5) and interior, trim and upgrade kits (5), and a lead can name more than one. Eight of the 14 wanted a single part. We quote by the list, so a shop restocking lamps and panels across several cars is who this desk serves.
In Iraq the American car is a different story. Rudaw counted about 14,000 American cars arriving from January to July 2025, with July's 594 the lowest in years against 2,850 in February, and an Erbil dealer put two-thirds of the import market at Chinese cars. One of the eight clear Iraqi enquiries named Dodge. Fewer arrivals leave a stock of American cars already on Iraqi roads that will go on needing lamps, panels and trim, which is our reading and not Rudaw's.
Kuwait is here on context, not demand: our notes name no Kuwaiti Dodge or Jeep enquiry. The context is the 2026 shortage. Kuwait Times reported in July that dealers kept genuine filters for their own workshops, that damaged-car prices had surged as buyers hunted for salvageable parts, and that many damaged cars came from inside Kuwait. Kuwait charges 5 percent duty and has no VAT, and only Kuwaiti importers or registered Kuwaiti brokers can clear goods.
Our own site gives a small further signal. The Arabic page on American car parts is among the top Google landing pages for visitors from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan, in single-digit session counts over 90 days. The numbers are tiny, but they match the make mix in the enquiries.
Do the Charger, Challenger, Durango and Grand Cherokee share parts?
Within limits. The Charger, Challenger, Magnum and 300 share the LX platform, and the Durango and WK2 Grand Cherokee share a line and running gear. That is why a request covering Charger, Challenger and Durango may need two or three separate part families. Sharing a platform does not make a lamp or a panel interchangeable, and the Durango's longer wheelbase is one visible difference, so the desk quotes against the part number and the VIN.
Mopar is the parts, service and customer care arm of Stellantis and began as a division of the former Chrysler Corporation, which first used the name in 1937. Its modern numbers pair a seven- or eight-digit base with a two-letter suffix, such as 68428471AD or 55111103AG in retailer listings. Parts guides say the suffix tracks revisions and that a later suffix on the same base is expected to fit, absent a service bulletin. That is a secondary reading, so the desk confirms a changed suffix with you before quoting it.
Genuine Mopar, OE-brand or aftermarket lamps and panels?
Genuine here means Mopar, in Mopar packaging. OE-brand is a maker's own box on a part it also supplies to carmakers, and we name the maker on each line. Quality aftermarket is where lamps and panels differ most. TYC, named in the UAE tier list, appears in retailer listings with CAPA-certified headlamps for Jeep and Dodge models and a marker light for the 2015 to 2021 Charger, and an enthusiast review says Depo, also named there, is a CAPA member. CAPA is a US certification for aftermarket collision parts. We have audited neither brand, and CAPA is not a Saudi or Iraqi requirement.
How much cheaper is aftermarket? We cannot say for these makes: the only Dubai price ladder we have measured is on Toyota parts, so we publish no ratio for Mopar. In the Gulf the buyer's wording leans genuine. Of the 23 Saudi enquiries we hold, counting the less certain ones, genuine words appeared in 7 and aftermarket words in 3, and one Gulf buyer asked for Mopar-original, American-made parts. Each quote therefore opens with the Mopar line and sets aftermarket beside it.
What do Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait check on lamps and panels?
Lamps, glass and mirrors are the lines most likely to meet paperwork. Saudi Arabia's SASO technical regulation for new auto spare parts, adopted in 2017 and amended on 11 August 2023, lists them beside radiators, filters, brake linings and pads, safety belts, airbags and suspension. A product certificate valid for one year and a single-use shipment certificate come through the SABER system, and only a Saudi entity with a commercial registration can create the account, so the importer holds that step. Saudi Arabia bans most used car parts, one reason its buyers order new.
| Country | What the importer deals with | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | SASO regulation covering lamps, glass, mirrors and radiators, certificates through SABER, 15 percent VAT | SASO cover page, Tabseer, Ajel |
| Iraq | Certificate of conformity with regulated consignments including vehicle spare parts, duty by HS code under Decision 957 at 0.5 to 30 percent | Intertek, Iraq Business News, Shafaq |
| Kuwait | KUCAS reports for brake pads, batteries and oil filters, 5 percent duty, no VAT, clearance by Kuwaiti importers or brokers only | Intertek, US International Trade Administration |
GCC-spec or US-spec: what to send for an exact match
Both specs exist on Gulf roads, and the dealer guides agree on what separates them. GCC-spec cars get larger radiators and thermostats, reinforced air-conditioning compressors, stronger filtration and corrosion-resistant undercoating, with kilometre speedometers and Arabic door-jamb labels, while American-spec cars keep standard cooling for milder climates. We found no published list for these models, so cooling, air-conditioning and filter lines are matched by VIN and number, never by model name. An Arabic label is a clue, not proof.
Engines also change by market. Wikipedia says the Wrangler JL's Pentastar V6 is offered in North America, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, in a sentence whose subject is unclear, and that Europe, China, Singapore and India get a 2.0 litre turbo as the only petrol engine. It lists a 2.0 litre turbo four for export markets in the 2021 WL Grand Cherokee without saying whether the Gulf gets it. A JL with the 3.6 and a JL with the 2.0 share a model name, not an engine.
Send the VIN, the Mopar number from the old part with its two-letter suffix, the engine code, the model year and whether the car is GCC-spec or an American import. For lamps, say left or right and photograph the connector. Before paying, match every digit and letter of the Mopar number against the box and check that the brand on the box is the brand on your quote line. Radiators, lamps and bumper parts are bulky: give your agent the sizes before the truck is booked.

UAE parts shops that export
These shops are here because our record of each one lists exporting, sending parts outside the UAE, among what it offers, and names Dodge among the makes it covers. It is a record of what they told us or published, not a check that they send parts to your country today or of what is on the shelf, and none of them has paid to be here. Ask how the part reaches you, and who handles the export paperwork, before you pay.

Questions buyers ask
- Do you quote Mopar parts for a Dodge Charger?
- We quote them as the genuine grade where a UAE distributor holds the Mopar number. Availability is for a person to check on WhatsApp, and we publish no stock. Send the VIN, the model year, the engine and the Mopar number from the old part. For a Charger the desk first decides whether it is an LX of 2006 to 2010 or an LD of 2011 to 2023.
- Are Durango and Grand Cherokee parts the same?
- Some are. Wikipedia says the 2011 Durango is built on the same WK2 platform as the Grand Cherokee and shares running gear, powertrains and chassis parts, on a slightly longer wheelbase. The bodies are different cars, so lamps and panels are quoted from the Durango's own number, and any cross-fit is confirmed from the VIN first.
- When did Dodge stop making the Charger and Challenger?
- Stellantis announced on 15 August 2022 that Challenger production would end after the 2023 model year, and the last car was completed on 22 December 2023. The Charger LD generation ended with the 2023 model year, and the Hemi V8 engines were retired with it. Parts for both are still quoted by number and VIN.
- What engines does the Jeep Wrangler JL have?
- Wikipedia lists a 2.0 litre turbo four of 270 hp and a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 of 285 hp, with the 6.4 litre Hemi in the Rubicon 392 and diesel or plug-in versions in some markets. It says the V6 is offered in the Middle East, in a sentence whose subject is unclear. Send the engine code with the VIN.
- Can I order one Dodge headlamp?
- Export orders are quoted by the list, at trade quantities, not by the piece. In our Saudi data 8 of the 14 clear enquiries wanted one part, and a single part is not the order this desk quotes. Send every lamp, panel and trim line you need for the cars you service, with a quantity against each.
- Do new lamps need paperwork to enter Saudi Arabia?
- Yes. SASO's regulation for new auto spare parts lists lamps, vehicle glass and mirrors, and the Saudi importer holds the SABER account that produces the product and shipment certificates. Ask your Saudi broker which certificate each lamp line needs before you pay. We name the brand on each line so the broker can match it.
- Is TYC or Depo the same as Mopar?
- No. Mopar is Stellantis's own parts brand. TYC and Depo are independent brands in the quality-aftermarket tier of the UAE list, and retailer listings show TYC lamps with CAPA certification, a US scheme. Each quote names the brand, so you can compare the Mopar line with the aftermarket line before you choose.
- How do bulky panels and bumpers get from Dubai to the Gulf?
- Your cargo agent collects in Dubai and picks the route; freight is charged on weight and volume, and panels are mostly volume. Gulf guides give road as the default while the Hormuz sea status is unclear, and Property Finder puts Dubai to Riyadh at about 980 km via Ghuwaifat. We give no delivery times, and no route should pass through Iran.
