Hyundai Accent, Elantra, Tucson and Sonata parts from Dubai for export
Updated
The quick answer
Hyundai workshops and traders in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Madagascar put the VIN, the engine code and their parts on one WhatsApp list, and a person replies with each line priced in a new grade: genuine, OE-brand or quality aftermarket. The engine code decides the part, because one badge carries Gamma, Nu, Theta and Smartstream engines by year and market. Your own cargo agent collects in Dubai.
Key facts
- Hyundai held 15.9% of Saudi Arabia's 857,247 new vehicles in 2025, up 4.2%, and the Accent was the best-selling model at 5.4%, up 15.3%.
- Iraq's table put Hyundai third among brands with 12.5% in 2024, when the Tucson was the third-best-selling model, and fifth in 2025.
- Egypt's 2025 table put Hyundai fifth among brands, with the Elantra among the top models, in a market of 163,199 new light vehicles.
- Wikipedia gives the 1.6 Gamma as G4FC and G4FG, the 2.0 Nu as G4NA and the 2.4 Theta II as G4KE; its articles disagree on the 2010 Elantra.
- Newer Hyundais use Smartstream engines, including the 2.5 litre G4KN on the 2020 Tucson and the 2019 Sonata.
- L'Express de Madagascar wrote in August 2025 that Hyundai is the most-bought brand there; Madagascar bans right-hand-drive cars, so Gulf-specification parts fit.
- Azerbaijan's new-car sales were 68% Chinese in 2025, so Hyundai parts demand there rests on older Accents, Elantras and Sonatas.
- No Hyundai prices are printed here; each line is priced by a person on WhatsApp, with the grade named.

Which Hyundai generation and engine does your car carry?
Wikipedia's Accent article runs six generations: X3 from 1994, LC from 1999, MC from 2005, RB from 2010, HC from 2017 and BN7 from 2023. It lists the fifth generation for the Middle East for the model years 2018 to 2023 and names the UAE as a market for the sixth. The Elantra runs MD from 2010, AD from 2015 and CN7 from 2020, so a Gulf Elantra of the last fifteen years is one of those three.
The Tucson is JM from 2004, LM from 2009 (sold as the ix35 in most markets), TL from 2015 and NX4 from 2020. The Sonata is NF from 2004, YF from 2009, LF from 2014 and DN8 from 2019, facelifted in 2023. The model code is the first thing a person asks for, because each code brings a different engine range and a different set of body and lamp parts.
| Model | Codes and years | Engine families named |
|---|---|---|
| Accent | RB 2010, HC 2017, BN7 2023 | Gamma G4FA 1.4, G4FC and G4FG 1.6, G4FD 1.6 GDi; Smartstream 1.5 and 1.6 |
| Elantra | MD 2010, AD 2015, CN7 2020 | Nu G4NA 2.0, Gamma 1.6, Nu G4NH 2.0, Smartstream 1.6 |
| Tucson | LM 2009, TL 2015, NX4 2020 | Theta II G4KD 2.0 and G4KE 2.4, Nu G4NA 2.0, Smartstream G4KN 2.5 |
| Sonata | NF 2004, YF 2009, LF 2014, DN8 2019 | Theta G4KA, G4KC, G4KD and G4KE; G4KJ 2.4 GDI; Nu G4NA and G4NC; Smartstream G4KN 2.5 |
What do G4FC, G4FG, G4NA, G4KE and Smartstream mean?
The Gamma family, introduced in 2006 to replace the Alpha, is chain driven. Wikipedia gives the G4FC as 1,591 cc with a 77 by 85.4 mm bore and stroke and 124 PS in one table and 130 PS in another. The G4FG has the same capacity with variable valve timing, 123 to 134 PS, and arrived in 2010 as its replacement. The G4FD adds direct injection at 140 PS, and the G4FJ turbo reaches 204 PS.
The Nu family starts with the G4NA, a 1,999 cc two-litre rated 166 PS in its first revision and 152 to 156 PS later; the G4NC is the direct-injected version at 176 PS, and the Atkinson-cycle G4NH at 149 PS came with the 2015 Elantra. The Theta II G4KE is a 2,359 cc 2.4 litre with an 88 by 97 mm bore and stroke and 178 to 179 PS, listed for the Sonata from 2007 to 2019 and for the Tucson and ix35 from 2010 to 2020.
Smartstream is the newer family. Wikipedia's Elantra article gives the 1.6 as G4FM and the Chinese 1.5 as G4FL, its Tucson article names the 2.5 litre G4KN for the NX4, and its Sonata article lists a Smartstream 2.0 and 2.5 for the DN8. Saudi retail listings for the 2024 Accent describe a 1.5 litre of about 113 to 115 hp, but one listing says 1.6. The sources disagree, so the number on the engine decides.
Wikipedia also disagrees with itself on the 2010 Elantra. Its Elantra article gives the 1.6 as G4FC for the fifth generation, while its Gamma article says the G4FG replaced the G4FC in 2010 and lists the Elantra under G4FG. A kit ordered by the Elantra name alone could therefore be wrong by one letter.
| Code | Family and size | Named in |
|---|---|---|
| G4FC | Gamma 1.6, 1,591 cc, about 124 PS | Accent and Elantra of the 2010s |
| G4FG | Gamma 1.6 with variable valve timing, 123 to 134 PS | Accent, Elantra, i30 and Creta |
| G4NA | Nu 2.0, 1,999 cc, 152 to 166 PS | Elantra, Tucson and the DN8 Sonata |
| G4KE | Theta II 2.4, 2,359 cc, 178 to 179 PS | Sonata 2007 to 2019, Tucson and ix35 2010 to 2020 |
| G4KN | Smartstream 2.5 GDI | Tucson NX4 and Sonata DN8 |
Which countries run these Hyundais, and for what?
Saudi Arabia is the clearest case. Hyundai held 15.9% of 857,247 new vehicles in 2025, up 4.2%, the Accent was the best-selling model at 5.4%, up 15.3%, and the i10 climbed ten places to eleventh. Best Selling Cars Blog's 2024 table listed the Accent and the Elantra among the top five models. Saudi Arabia bans used car parts except certified remanufactured main assemblies, which is why a Saudi Hyundai list is new parts.
Iraq put Hyundai third among brands in 2024 with 12.5% of 161,404 new vehicles, and fifth in 2025 among 160,737. The Tucson was its third-best-selling model in 2024. Buyers there are price-led, and an Erbil garage owner told Iraq Oil Report in 2019 that Chinese copies sold at about a quarter of the genuine price and were of poor quality, which is why a labelled quality aftermarket line sits between the extremes.
Azerbaijan's new-car sales were 69,832 in 2025, with Chinese brands at 68% or more, and Toyota fell to fourth. A 2024 ABB Bank overview, seen only as a search summary, ranks Hyundai among the four most registered brands from 2020 to 2023, so the demand is for older Accents, Elantras and Sonatas, in our reading. We screen every buyer there and goods go through Georgia, never through Iran.
Egypt's 2025 table put Hyundai fifth among brands in 163,199 new light vehicles, with the Elantra among the top models. Wikipedia records local assembly there: the Accent's fourth generation from 2012 and the Elantra's HD generation in Cairo from 2016 to 2023, so a local car can differ from a Gulf one. Egypt also requires advance cargo information to be filed for every shipment, so raise it with your agent early.
Madagascar is the odd one out. L'Express de Madagascar wrote in August 2025 that Hyundai is the most-bought brand there, and the UAE supplied 15.3% of Madagascar's 14.98 million dollars of parts imports in 2023, third behind China and France. A freight guide says right-hand-drive cars are not allowed, so Gulf-specification parts fit directly. INSTAT's Q1 2019 figures, seen as a summary, put diesel at 84.2% of used cars registered there, so ask for the engine code, diesel or petrol.
Which new Hyundai parts can a list carry?
The engine families settle the timing parts. Wikipedia describes the Gamma family as chain driven, the Theta family as using silent timing chains and the Nu G4NB as a chain-driven roller DOHC engine, so a rebuild list for those engines carries chain sets and not belts. Wikipedia gives no timing drive for the Nu G4NA, so that one is checked by number, which is why we ask for the engine code before we quote a timing kit.
Beyond the engine, an Accent or Elantra workshop list is wear parts: brake pads and discs, suspension links and bushes, filters, cooling parts, ignition parts and lamps. A Tucson or Sonata list adds heavier engine work on the 2.4 litre G4KE and the GDI engines. The table shows what each system depends on, so a trader can build one list across several models.
| System | What a list can carry | What decides the part |
|---|---|---|
| Service | Oil, air and fuel filters, spark plugs, drive belts | Engine code and model code |
| Brakes | Pad sets, discs, calipers, hoses | Model code and trim |
| Suspension | Links, bushes, ball joints, shock absorbers, springs | Model code and build year |
| Cooling | Radiators, water pumps, thermostats, hoses | Engine code and gearbox type |
| Engine rebuild | Gasket sets, piston and ring sets, bearings, timing chain sets, oil pump | Exact engine code, such as G4FC against G4FG |
| Lamps and body | Headlamps, tail lamps, grilles, bumpers, mirrors | Model code, facelift year and trim |
Genuine, OE-brand or quality aftermarket for a Hyundai?
Genuine on a Hyundai line means a Hyundai-branded part from a UAE distributor. OE-brand means a firm that supplies the carmaker and is quoted by its own name; the Dubai trade notes we read list Mobis among such names. Quality aftermarket means an independent brand built to the Hyundai pattern. Every line carries one label, a brand and a number, so a quote can be set beside any other and compared.
Filters are the line to watch in every market. Al-Futtaim Automotive, the Toyota and Lexus distributor, reported seizing 2.5 million counterfeit parts worth AED 7.46 million in 2024, AED 2.81 million of them oil filters, and the UAE's Federal Decree-Law 42 of 2023 strengthened anti-counterfeit protection. Those raids concern Toyota, but they show what filter fraud looks like here. A Hyundai filter line therefore carries its brand and its number, and a genuine one comes with the distributor's lot invoice where the distributor allows it.
We have measured no Hyundai ladder in Dubai and print no Hyundai price. The measured gap on Toyota parts, on 3 November 2026, was a genuine pad set at AED 322 to 399 against AED 58 to 73 for budget brands, so the label on the quote matters more than the badge on the car.
Gulf-spec, European or Korean-built: which is your Hyundai?
Hyundai builds one badge in many countries and fits different engines by market. Wikipedia's Accent article gives the fourth generation 1.4 litre G4FA engines in Indonesia and the Philippines, a 123 hp 1.6 in Russia and a 138 hp 1.6 GDI in North America. A fifth-generation Accent is listed for the Middle East for model years 2018 to 2023. A part number found for one market is a lead for another, not a match.
All five markets are left-hand drive in the sources we read: Saudi Arabia, Iraq's Kurdistan Region and Madagascar ban right-hand-drive cars, and the parcs in Azerbaijan and Egypt are left-hand drive. Gulf-specification body parts and lamps therefore fit, but only when the VIN or the part number confirms the trim and the facelift year. Mechanical and wear parts follow the engine and the model code instead.
What to send for a Hyundai quote, and what to check
Send the 17-character VIN, the model code (Accent RB or HC, Elantra MD or AD, Tucson LM or TL, Sonata YF or DN8), the engine code stamped on the block, the build month and year, the trim and a photograph showing the number on the old part. Gather every part on one list: a workshop's service list, a trader's range across the Accent and Elantra, or a fleet list all work, and a single part does not. A person confirms how to pay on WhatsApp.
Check the engine code first, in particular G4FC against G4FG, the Saudi Accent's 1.5 against 1.6, and diesel against petrol on a car from Madagascar. Wikipedia lists Accent diesels as D3EA, D4FA, D4FB and D4FC, none of which the petrol codes above cover. Then compare the grade, brand and number on each line of the quote with your photograph before you pay.
Who you are buying from
- Easy Auto is a UAE-licensed exporter of new car parts, genuine and aftermarket, quoted from Dubai.
- A person quotes every export order on WhatsApp, line by line, with each part's grade named: genuine, OE-brand or aftermarket.
- We quote export orders by the list, at trade quantities, not one or two pieces.
- New parts only. We do not supply used parts, half-cuts or rebuilt engines.
- Your own cargo agent or forwarder collects the parts in Dubai and ships them on. We do not ship abroad, book destination inspections or clear customs at your end.
- Before you pay, ask for photos of the parts with their part numbers in view.
UAE parts shops that export
These shops are here because our record of each one lists exporting, sending parts outside the UAE, among what it offers, and names Hyundai among the makes it covers. It is a record of what they told us or published, not a check that they send parts to your country today or of what is on the shelf, and none of them has paid to be here. Ask how the part reaches you, and who handles the export paperwork, before you pay.

Questions buyers ask
- Is the Hyundai G4FC the same engine as the G4FG?
- Both are 1,591 cc Gamma 1.6 litre engines. Wikipedia says the G4FG, with variable valve timing, replaced the G4FC in 2010, yet its Elantra article lists the G4FC for the fifth generation. The articles disagree, so a person reads the code stamped on your engine before quoting a kit.
- Which engine does the Saudi Hyundai Accent have?
- Saudi retail listings for the 2024 Accent describe a 1.5 litre of about 113 to 115 hp, though one gives 1.6. Wikipedia names Smartstream 1.5 and 1.6 engines for newer Accents. Listings disagree, so send the VIN and the engine number and a person checks.
- What is the Hyundai G4KE engine?
- The G4KE is the Theta II 2.4 litre, 2,359 cc, rated 178 to 179 PS in Wikipedia's table, listed for the Sonata from 2007 to 2019 and the Tucson and ix35 from 2010 to 2020. Kia cars use it too. A rebuild kit is quoted new, by grade, against the code.
- Do Accent parts fit an Elantra?
- Sometimes, but we never assume it. Wikipedia lists the Gamma 1.6 in both cars, so engine parts can overlap, while brakes, suspension and body parts follow the model code. Send the part number for each car and a person checks every line before it is quoted.
- Do Hyundai and Kia cars share engines and parts?
- Their engine families overlap: Wikipedia lists the Gamma, Nu and Theta II engines in both makes. That does not make every part interchangeable, so a person checks against the VIN. Our Kia export page covers the Kia models and their own codes.
- Can buyers in Madagascar use Gulf-specification Hyundai parts?
- In principle yes. Madagascar drives on the right, does not allow right-hand-drive cars, and buys more Hyundai than any other brand, so left-hand-drive Gulf parts match the cars. The UAE was its third-largest parts supplier in 2023. Send the engine code, since many cars there run diesel.
- Do you export Hyundai engines?
- No complete engines. The rebuild kit is what we quote, new: gaskets, pistons and rings, bearings, timing chain sets and the oil and water pumps. A used, rebuilt or remanufactured engine is never part of our range. Give the engine code and the VIN and each kit line comes back with a grade.
- Can I order parts for a single Hyundai?
- One car is too small an order for us. A workshop, a trader or a fleet can put every Accent, Elantra, Tucson and Sonata part it needs on one list with the VINs, and the reply shows the grade and brand of each line.
