MG, Chery, Geely, Haval, Changan and Jetour parts from Dubai for export

Updated

The quick answer

Buyers in Iraq and Kurdistan, Egypt, Azerbaijan, the Gulf, Ghana and Angola can send a list for MG, Chery, Geely, Haval, Changan or Jetour cars, and a person quotes each new line by VIN or part number. These models are young and change by model year, so a name alone never settles a part. Genuine comes through each brand's own channel, and in our reading aftermarket is thin for the newest cars. Your cargo agent collects in Dubai.

Key facts

  • Chinese brands took at least 68% of Azerbaijan's 69,832 new-car sales in 2025; Changan's two brands held 41.3% between them and Toyota fell to fourth.
  • An Erbil dealer told Rudaw in September 2025 that about two-thirds of the import market there is now Chinese, and that hybrid demand rose 45%.
  • Egypt's Chery and MG ranked third and fourth among brands in 2025, and one report counts 50,699 Chinese-brand sales against 30,441 in 2024.
  • A Kuwaiti mechanic told Kuwait Times on 28 July 2026 that many items were completely unavailable, especially parts for modern Chinese vehicles.
  • One secondary source puts Chinese brands at 11.6% of Saudi Arabia's first-half 2025 sales, with Jetour and Haval up but Changan, MG and Geely down.
  • Chery's Jebel Ali warehouse, reported on 9 January 2025, was said to hold over 20,000 parts for Saudi Arabia and the GCC; that is the company's figure.
  • Wikipedia dates the Jetour T2's launch to 31 December 2023 in Saudi Arabia and 27 January 2024 in the UAE, so those fleets are under three years old.
  • We measured no Chinese-brand part price on 3 November 2026, so this page prints none; every line is quoted by VIN or part number.

Which countries are buying Chinese cars, and what do the figures say?

Azerbaijan shows the sharpest turn. Of 69,832 new cars sold there in 2025, at least 68% carried Chinese badges, with BYD first. The published figures name Nevo, also sold as Changan Qiyuan, at 22.1% and Changan itself at 19.2%, which is 41.3% between them, while Toyota fell from first in 2024 to fourth at 9.9%. The public table names no model, so we cannot say which Changan lines are on the road there; the VIN tells us.

Iraq and Kurdistan sit on a different footing. Federal Iraq's 2024 table put MG fourth among brands and Jetour at 3.8%, with the Great Wall Wingle pickup among the top ten models. In Kurdistan an Erbil dealer told Rudaw in September 2025 that about two-thirds of the import market is now Chinese and that hybrid demand rose 45%. The region admits only the three most recent model years, 964media reported, so its Chinese cars are newer than most of Iraq's.

Egypt buys new, because cars more than a year old are barred from import, according to the US commercial guide. In 2025 Chery ranked third among brands and MG fourth, and the model table named the Tiggo 4 Pro, Arrizo 5, Tiggo 7, MG ZS and MG5. A Hatla2ee item, seen only as a search summary, counts 50,699 Chinese-brand sales in 2025 against 30,441 in 2024. Wikipedia says first-generation Tiggo 7 cars were assembled in Cairo, which is one more reason to read the VIN.

In the Gulf the signal is mixed, and we say so. Qatar's table put the Jetour T2 second in 2024 and again in 2025, with the Tank 500 fourth in 2025 and the Geely Emgrand eighth in 2024. Kuwait had Jetour seventh among brands in 2025 at 4.2%. For Saudi Arabia one secondary source, which names no data origin, counts Chinese brands at 11.6% of 411,254 sales in the first half of 2025, down 14.2%, with Jetour up 63.1% and Haval up 37.2% while Changan, MG and Geely fell. Saudi Arabia is a model-by-model story, not a rising tide.

Ghana and Angola are smaller and less certain. Ghana's new market shrank to 6,523 units in 2025, yet five Chinese models reached its top ten: the Haval Jolion, Geely Coolray, Jetour T2, GWM Poer and MG ZS. For Angola we hold only a headline from the paper Expansão saying Chinese brands already account for almost half of new-car sales, undated in our notes, and a 2021 count of 4,517 Chinese vehicles among 17,342 imported. Treat both as direction, not measurement.

Why is a model name not enough to match a Chinese-brand part?

These cars change faster than a Toyota does, and the names change with them. Wikipedia lists three generations of the Chery Tiggo 7 since its April 2016 debut. The second, from 2019, moved from the 1.5 litre SQRE4T15 to the SQRE4T15C and added a 1.6 litre SQRF4J16, and its names run through Pro, Pro Max and Plus. A third generation was unveiled on 22 October 2026. A list that says only Tiggo 7 may cover engines and bodies that share few parts, which only the VIN settles.

Renames hide the same trap. Changan's CS75 became the CS75 Plus in 2019, and the Plus's 1.5 litre turbo appears as the JL476ZQCA in 2019 and the JL473ZQ7 in the 2022 update. The CS75 Pro of March 2025 was previously the Oshan X7. The Haval Jolion's 1.5 litre turbo was detuned in a 2024 facelift, from 110 kW to 105 kW. A buyer who writes CS75 pads or Jolion coil has not yet told us which car.

Even the badge moves between markets. Geely's Coolray is the Binyue in China, revealed in August 2018, with the Binyue L following in November 2024. MG's ZS began in 2017, and its second generation was unveiled on 28 August 2024 with a different 1.5 litre engine; Middle East versions were unveiled on 25 February 2025. The Jetour T2 is the Jetour Traveller in China, where a refresh called the Traveller 7 appeared in August 2026.

Where do genuine parts for these brands come from?

Genuine parts for a Chinese brand come through that brand's own channel, which in the Gulf means its distributor and warehouse. Chery's is the best documented: SayaraBay reported on 9 January 2025 that Chery International had inaugurated a spare-parts warehouse in Jebel Ali for Saudi Arabia and the GCC, holding over 20,000 parts. Those figures are the company's own and the article gives no delivery times. A warehouse is not stock for your VIN, so each genuine line is checked against the VIN before it is priced.

Scarcity is why these lines are worth asking about early. On 28 July 2026 Kuwait Times quoted a mechanic who said many items were completely unavailable in the market, especially parts for modern Chinese vehicles, and tied the gaps to supply-chain disruption and the Hormuz crisis. It is one mechanic's account and names no brand, so we read it as a warning about lead times and not as a count. It is also why this page promises no stock and no delivery time.

Brand channels are not equally open to an exporter's buyer. Kuwait Times reported that dealers were keeping genuine parts such as filters for their own workshops. When UAE supply carries a genuine Chinese-brand line, it is quoted with its number. When it does not, a person marks the line dealer-only on the quote, so you can ask the brand's importer in your own country instead of waiting on a substitute nobody has matched.

Is there a quality aftermarket for the newest Chinese models?

We found no published price ladder for any Chinese-brand part and measured none on 3 November 2026, so the honest answer is a split by system, and the split is our reading and not a measurement. Wear parts such as pads, filters, plugs and belts are made by independent brands to fixed dimensions, and can often be matched by number or by dimensions on a photograph. Model-specific parts such as lamps, bumpers and sensors follow the facelift year and are more often genuine-only.

Hybrid and plug-in versions need one more line. The Jetour T2 i-DM and the Haval Jolion Hybrid are quoted for everything except the traction battery, which carriers can treat as dangerous goods, and the same goes for twelve volt batteries. Be wary of the word genuine on its own: a budget Takamaya pad for a Toyota is described in its own Dubai listing as genuine quality, which proves nothing without a brand and a number on the box.

What do we need to match a Chinese-brand part to your car?

Send the VIN first. For these brands it carries the build month, the engine and the market specification, and it settles what a model name cannot. Add the engine code from the engine bay or the plate, the transmission type, whether the car is a hybrid or plug-in, and the trim. Cars built for China and cars built for export can differ, and so can a car assembled in Cairo and one imported whole, so we do not assume a part carries across.

Drive side rarely decides these parts. Kurdistan banned right-hand-drive cars in its 2026 rules, and our notes list Egypt, Azerbaijan, Ghana and Angola as left-hand-drive markets, so a Gulf-market part for the same model is the natural match for a lamp or a bumper. Steering racks and columns stay side-specific and are quoted by part number only. Mixed lists across several brands are fine, as long as each car is labelled with its VIN.

What should you check before paying for Chinese-brand parts?

Ask for the brand and number against every line, a photograph of the part with its number visible, and the VIN you gave written back on the quote. A line that says Chery pads for Tiggo, with no number, is not yet a quote. If a person tells you a line is dealer-only, believe that over a seller who says everything is in stock, because Kuwait's July 2026 shortage shows how thin the shelves can be.

Check the size of the order as well. We quote by the list, so put the whole workshop or fleet order together: the pads, filters and plugs for ten Jolions are a list, while one plug for one Jolion is not, and a person will say so. The reply on WhatsApp names the grade of each line, and a person confirms how to pay in that chat before anything is collected.

Questions buyers ask

Which Chinese brands do you quote parts for?
MG, Chery, Geely, Haval and Great Wall, Changan and Jetour, new parts only. Not every line is carried by UAE supply, so a person checks each one against your VIN or part number and says which are genuine, which have an OE-brand or quality aftermarket option, and which only the brand's dealer holds.
Why does a Chinese-brand part need a VIN?
Because the same name covers different cars. Wikipedia lists three Chery Tiggo 7 generations, a Changan CS75 that became the CS75 Plus, and a Haval Jolion whose engine was detuned in 2024. The VIN carries the build month, engine and specification, which a model name does not.
Is aftermarket available for the Jetour T2 or Chery Tiggo 7?
We measured no price and found no published ladder for either. Our reading is that wear parts such as pads and filters can often be matched by number, while lamps, sensors and body parts for the newest facelift are more often genuine-only. A person tells you per line.
Do you supply hybrid or plug-in parts for Chinese models?
We quote hybrid-version parts by VIN, for example for a Jetour T2 i-DM or a Haval Jolion Hybrid, except the traction battery. Batteries are left off export quotes because carriers can treat them as dangerous goods, and the same applies to twelve volt batteries.
Can an Azerbaijan buyer order Changan parts?
Yes, by VIN. Changan and its Nevo label together held 41.3% of Azerbaijan's 2025 new-car sales, but the published table names no model, so we need the VIN to know the car. A person says plainly if a line is only available through the brand's own importer.
Are parts for Chinese cars hard to find in the Gulf?
One Kuwaiti mechanic told Kuwait Times on 28 July 2026 that many items were completely unavailable, especially for modern Chinese vehicles. Chery reported a Jebel Ali parts warehouse in January 2025. Both are single reports, so we promise no stock and ask for the VIN before pricing.
Do you supply used Chinese-brand parts or half-cuts?
No. Easy Auto exports new genuine, OE-brand and quality aftermarket parts only. We do not supply used parts, half-cuts, or rebuilt units for any make, Chinese or otherwise. If a line is not carried new, a person tells you so on the quote.
What is the minimum order for Chinese-brand parts?
We quote by the list at trade quantities, not for one or two pieces. Put the whole workshop or fleet order in one WhatsApp message with a VIN for each car, and a person tells you whether the list is the right size to quote.
Can you deliver parts to Erbil, Cairo or Baku?
No. The collection point is Dubai: your own agent or forwarder picks up the parcel, files the export papers and arranges the onward freight. Easy Auto does not ship abroad or clear customs, and with the Hormuz position unknown in November 2026 we quote no transit time. Confirm the route with your agent.
