Every serious UAE parts counter matches by VIN (chassis number): send it on WhatsApp with a photo of the old part, and they'll confirm the exact part number, price and stock before you move.

Ask for the part number in writing on the invoice too. It's your proof if the part doesn't fit, and most established shops will exchange against an invoice within a few days — confirm the exchange window before paying, especially on electrical parts, which are often sold no-return.

The UAE's accident-recovery and import economy feeds one of the world's best used-parts markets — half-cut engines from Japan, low-mileage panels from insurance write-offs, and complete drivetrains at 40–70% below new prices. For an out-of-warranty car, a tested used engine or gearbox with a workshop warranty is often the rational buy over a new unit that exceeds the car's value.

Used is smart for body panels, lamps, glass, interior trim and major mechanicals with a warranty.
