For parts suppliers
How to sell your car parts stock online in the UAE
Updated
The quick answer
Send your stock list to Easy Auto as a CSV, an Excel file, a PDF or a photo, with no account and nothing to install. A person checks the file, matches your columns to ours and agrees the order terms with you; your parts then join the stock our WhatsApp desk and website sell from, and when a customer orders one of them we order it from you at your price. Between 20 July and 2 November 2026, UAE drivers and garages sent us 1,667 part requests. A stock list is how your parts answer them without anyone having to message you first.
Key facts
- 1,667 part requests reached Easy Auto between 20 July and 2 November 2026: 1,380 through the website and the first WhatsApp bot, and 287 on the shop's WhatsApp since 7 October.
- Of the 304 parts customers asked for on WhatsApp since 7 October, 10 were found in a stock list we already hold. The other 294 went to our sourcing desk, which sent 488 messages to 52 UAE suppliers asking whether they had the part.
- 219 of those 488 messages were answered, at a median of 9 minutes, and 269 never were. A part that is on a list needs no message at all.
- 18 suppliers work with us as of 3 November 2026: 7 send a stock file, which together hold 91,328 current lines across 292 brands, and 11 answer part-by-part messages.
- Stock lists are for new parts: genuine, OE-brand and aftermarket. Lines marked used are left out.
- To send a list you need a business name, a WhatsApp number or an email, and the file. There is no account, no sign-up and no card.
- Only 67 of 1,380 requests (4.9%) arrived with a part number. We work out the exact part from the car, the VIN or a photo before we look for it in your list.
- The order terms, from how orders reach you to payment and returns, are agreed with each supplier before the first order. Nothing goes live until a person has spoken to you.

What selling your stock through Easy Auto is
Selling your stock through Easy Auto means sending us a file of the parts you hold and letting us do the selling. Your list becomes part of the stock we sell from. When a customer asks for a part, our team and our WhatsApp desk search every list we hold by part number and by the genuine numbers your list cross-references, so a customer who asks for a Toyota number can be offered your aftermarket part for it when your list says it fits.
The customer never sees your price list. They see Easy Auto's price, which our pricing rules set from yours, and they pay Easy Auto. Your price is what we pay you when we order the part. The customer's questions, the payment and the follow-up stay with us, so you deal with one buyer instead of many strangers.
None of this needs software on your side. You keep the spreadsheet or system export you already have; the first time, a person maps your columns to ours, and the same mapping reads every file you send after that.
It is not a marketplace where you open a shop front and wait. You do not write listings, take photographs, answer customers or chase payments. You keep doing what a parts supplier already does well, holding stock and handing over the right part, and the selling happens around it.
From your stock list to an order
- 1You send the listCSV, Excel, PDF or a photo, by upload or email
- 2We map your columnspart number, brand, quantity, price
- 3Your parts go livein the stock our WhatsApp desk and website sell from
- 4A customer ordersand pays Easy Auto our price
- 5We order from youat your price, by the route agreed with you
How it works, step by step
First, you send the list, through the upload form on this site or by email to hello@easyauto.ae. The form asks for a business name, a WhatsApp number or an email (one is enough), the file or a link to it, and an optional note. If you choose a CSV, the form reads it in your browser and shows roughly how many lines it found and the column names in your header row, before you press Send.
Second, a person checks the file and contacts you. Nothing goes live until that conversation has happened. Third, the same person maps your columns to ours: which of yours is the part number, which the brand, which the quantity and which the price, and whether your quantity counts pieces, sets or simply In and Out. The mapping is saved, so every later file with the same layout loads the same way.
Fourth, the terms for your first order are agreed and recorded: how orders reach you, collection or delivery, any minimum order, the price basis, invoicing, payment and returns. Fifth, the file loads. Brand spellings are cleaned to our brand names, each warehouse or stock code becomes a location with its own readiness time, and any line that cannot be sold safely is set aside rather than loaded wrongly.
Sixth, customers ask, and every request is searched against your lines along with every other list we hold. Seventh, when a customer orders a part from your list and pays Easy Auto, we order it from you, naming the part number, the brand, the quantity, your price and the location. Eighth, you confirm and the part is collected or delivered as agreed. From then on you send a fresh file whenever your stock changes, and the sixth to eighth steps repeat for every sale.
| Step | What happens | How often |
|---|---|---|
| 1. You send the list | By the upload form or email; a download link for a file over 4 MB | Once, then whenever your stock changes |
| 2. A person checks it and contacts you | The file is opened and read before anything is loaded | When you first send a list |
| 3. Your columns are mapped | Your names for part number, brand, quantity and price are pointed at ours | Once for each file layout |
| 4. The terms are agreed | Order route, delivery, minimum order, price basis, invoicing, payment, returns | Once, before the first order |
| 5. The file loads | Brands cleaned, warehouses turned into locations, unsafe lines set aside | Every file you send |
| 6. Customers are answered | Requests matched to your lines by part number and genuine number | Every request we receive |
| 7. We order from you | Part number, brand, quantity, your price and the location | Every sale of one of your parts |
| 8. You hand the part over | Collected or delivered, as agreed in step 4 | Every order |
Who does which job
Selling through Easy Auto splits the work along a simple line: we find and serve the customer, you hold the stock. Anything marked as agreed per supplier is settled with you before your first order, because suppliers in the UAE work in very different ways: some deliver with their own drivers, some only sell from the counter, some invoice per order and some send a statement.
| Job | Who | How |
|---|---|---|
| Finding customers | Easy Auto | The website, WhatsApp and search engines |
| Working out the exact part | Easy Auto | From the car, the VIN, a photo or the part number |
| Matching the part to your list | Easy Auto | By your part numbers and the genuine numbers you cross-reference |
| The customer's price | Easy Auto | Set by our pricing rules from your price |
| Taking the customer's payment | Easy Auto | The customer pays us, not you |
| Answering the customer's questions | Easy Auto | Before the sale, during delivery and after it |
| Mapping your file | Easy Auto, with you | Once for each layout you send |
| Keeping the list current | You | Send a new file when stock changes; a list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days without a new copy |
| Explaining a new warehouse code | You | Before or with the first file that uses it |
| Having the part ready | You | Confirm when we order |
| Collection or delivery | Agreed per supplier | Your own drivers, or we collect |
| How and when you are paid | Agreed per supplier | Settled before the first order |
The supplier guides, and when to read each
This page is the overview. Each part of the process has a page of its own in the supplier section, written for one question, and the links to every one of them are at the foot of this page. You do not need to read them before sending a list: the person who checks your file will go through anything that matters for your stock. They are there for when you want the detail first.
| Page | Read it when |
|---|---|
| Stock list format | You are preparing the file and want to know every column we read |
| How orders work | You want to see what an order looks like when it reaches you |
| What customers ask for | You are deciding which lines are most worth listing |
| Part numbers explained | Your list uses your own codes, old numbers, or several numbers in one cell |
| Genuine, OE and aftermarket | Your list mixes grades and you want each offered as what it is |
| Distributors and wholesalers | You hold a trade book across several warehouses |
| Slow-moving stock | Part of your stock has sat on the shelf for months |
| Sell without a website | You have stock but no online shop of your own |
| Selling on WhatsApp | You already answer customers on WhatsApp and want fewer messages |
| Ways to sell parts online | You are comparing Easy Auto with the other channels open to you |
| For parts brands | You own or represent a parts brand |
| About Easy Auto | You want to check who we are before you send anything |
Who it suits, by type of business
Any UAE business that holds new car parts and can confirm an order quickly. The suppliers we work with today range from trade counters in the industrial areas to importers with tens of thousands of lines. Each kind of business gains something different from a list, and each has a catch worth knowing before you start.
The one business it does not suit is a seller of used parts. Stock lists are for new parts, and a line marked used, or otherwise not new, is set aside when the file loads. A mixed list is still welcome: the new lines load and the rest are set aside.
| You are | What a list does for you | The catch | Send |
|---|---|---|---|
| A counter shop in a parts market such as Sharjah Industrial Area, Ras Al Khor or Mussafah | Requests from across the UAE can reach your shelf without a customer walking in | A list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days without a new copy, so it needs refreshing | Your counter stock list, even a short one |
| An importer, distributor or wholesaler | One saved mapping reads your whole trade book every time, and each warehouse becomes a location | Renaming or removing a mapped column stops the load until the file is re-mapped with you | Your system export, unchanged |
| A retailer with a website or online catalogue | Your catalogue reaches customers who ask on WhatsApp and never visit your site | Those customers buy from Easy Auto at our price, not from your site | A file export of the catalogue |
| A specialist in one make or one system | A short list of the right parts can answer requests no other list does | Fewer requests match a narrow list | The list, with a note on what you specialise in |
| A supplier who would rather not share prices | The list is kept as ask-first, so you are asked first when a customer wants one of its parts | Every sale still waits for your reply to a message | The list without the price column |
| A seller of used parts | Not suited today: used lines are set aside | Only the new lines on a mixed list load | The new-part lines only |
Who it suits, by size of list
Size changes how a file is sent and what matters most in it, not whether it is worth sending. The 7 stock files we load today run from 171 lines to 29,672, and the table counts how many fall in each band. A short list loads the same way a large one does, through the same mapping.
On a short list every line is visible to a person, so a wrong part number is the main risk. On a large one, the risk is the layout: a book exported from a stock system loads cleanly every time until someone renames or removes a column the mapping relies on. Then the load stops until the mapping is redone, and your last good file stays live in the meantime. A column added on the end loads as before.
| Size of list | Current files this size | How to send it | What matters most |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 1,000 lines | 1 | The upload form, a PDF, or photos of a printed list | Correct part numbers: on a short list every line counts |
| 1,000 to 10,000 lines | 3 | A CSV or Excel export through the upload form | A brand column and genuine numbers, so a request by the original number finds you |
| Over 10,000 lines | 3 | The upload form if the file is under 4 MB, otherwise a download link or email | A fixed column layout and a warehouse code on every line |
What to send, by what you have today
Send what you already have. The four things a line needs to load as priced stock are the part number, the brand, the quantity and the price. A genuine (OE) number, a description, a warehouse or stock code, a discount, a currency and a condition all help when you have them; the stock list format page goes through each.
Prices can be in UAE dirhams, US dollars or euros, and the exchange rate used is recorded with each line. A discount can come from a column or as one fixed rate for the whole list. Tell us whether your prices include VAT, and give your tax registration number if you are VAT registered. If you sell some parts only in boxes or above a minimum quantity, say so: minimums are agreed as part of your terms.
| What you have | What to send | What happens to it |
|---|---|---|
| A stock system that exports files | The export as it comes out, as XLSX or a UTF-8 CSV | Read by the saved mapping every time |
| A spreadsheet kept by hand | The spreadsheet as it is | Mapped once; send it again whenever it changes |
| A PDF price list | The PDF | Accepted by upload, and read by a person |
| A printed list | A clear photo of each page, as JPG, PNG or WEBP | Accepted by upload, and read by a person |
| A file over 4 MB | A download link, or the file by email to hello@easyauto.ae | Handled like any other file |
| An Excel workbook with macros (XLSM or XLSB) | A plain XLSX or CSV saved from it | Macro workbooks are refused |
| A list without prices | The list anyway | Kept as ask-first: you are asked first for its parts |
| A list of one brand with no brand column | The list, with the brand named in the note | Every line is read as that brand |
What happens after you press Send
The file goes to a person, not straight into the shop. They open it, check what it holds, and contact you on the WhatsApp number or email you gave. That first conversation covers what each of your columns means, how often the file changes, and the terms for your first order. Nothing goes live until it has happened.
Then comes the first load. Your column mapping is saved. Brand spellings are cleaned to our brand names once and the rule is remembered, so an abbreviation on your list is read as the same brand every time, and a spelling that says genuine keeps the genuine flag. Part numbers are compared as capital letters and digits only, so the spaces, dashes, dots and slashes in your numbers do not stop a match. Each warehouse or stock code becomes one of your locations, with its own readiness time.
A line that cannot be sold safely is set aside, not deleted, and the reasons are fixed: no part number, a part number we cannot read, no brand, no price, a warehouse code we do not know, a duplicate, or a line that is not new. Across the 17 stock file loads between 14 September 2026 and 29 October 2026, 172,634 rows were read and 60 were set aside. Once a mapping is right, very little falls out.
From then on your lines sit in the stock every request is searched against. A request that names your part number, or a genuine number your list cross-references, finds your line. Of the 91,328 lines we hold today, 66,479 (73%) carry a genuine cross-reference and 85,382 carry a price.

How often to send a new file
As often as your stock changes, which for a busy counter can mean every day. The saved mapping reads each new file the same way, so sending often takes no more work than the export itself. What happens when a file stops arriving depends on how it arrives, and the table sets out each case.
Nothing on your list is ever deleted because it went missing. A part that drops out of a new file is marked unavailable, and it returns when it reappears in a later file. Stale prices are shown as stale and are not sold online until a fresh file loads, which protects you from being ordered a part at a price you stopped honouring weeks ago.
| Situation | What we do | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Your file arrives automatically every day | It goes stale after 3 days without a new one | Keep the daily export running |
| You send the list by hand | It goes stale after 30 days without a new copy | Send a fresh copy whenever stock changes |
| A part is missing from your new file | It is marked unavailable, never deleted | Nothing: it returns when it reappears |
| Your export runs before the day's deliveries arrive | If you prefer, a missing part is kept three days before it is marked unavailable | Ask for the three-day hold |
| Your prices have gone stale | They are shown as stale and not sold online | Send a fresh file; the lines sell online again once it loads |
| You rename or remove a mapped column | The load stops instead of guessing, and your last good file stays live | Re-map the new layout with us |
| You add a new column | The file loads as before | Tell us if the new column should be read |
How orders and terms work
When a customer buys a part from your list, the customer pays Easy Auto and we order the part from you. The order names the part number, the brand, the quantity, your price and the location it comes from, and it reaches you by the route agreed with you: WhatsApp, a phone call or an email. We record, for each supplier, how its orders are confirmed.
Customers see Easy Auto's price, set by our pricing rules from your price, and your price is what Easy Auto pays when it orders. Customers do not see which supplier a part comes from, and supplier price lists are never published. There is no paid placement in the shop today.
The commercial terms are agreed with each supplier before the first order and recorded on our side. This page states no fee, commission or payment period: those belong in that conversation. Ask about each item in the table, and do not hand over a part until you are content with the answers.
Customers deal only with Easy Auto. Their questions, payment, delivery updates and after-sales all come to us, and you hear only about the part. Returns follow what was agreed with you, including whether a returned part comes back to you and within what window.
| Term | The question to have an answer for |
|---|---|
| How orders reach you | WhatsApp, a call or email: which reaches the person who can confirm stock? |
| Order confirmation | How will you confirm that an ordered part is there and ready? |
| Collection or delivery | Do your own drivers deliver, or does Easy Auto collect from you? |
| Minimum order | Is there a smallest order value or quantity you accept? |
| Price basis | Do your prices include VAT, and are they in AED, USD or EUR? |
| Tax registration | If you are VAT registered, what is your tax registration number? |
| Invoicing | Do you invoice each order, or send a statement? |
| Payment | Which payment method, and how many days? |
| Returns | Do you accept returns, and within what window? |
What customers ask for
Toyota and Nissan lead the requests by make: 188 and 171 of the 1,380 requests between 20 July and 1 November 2026 named them, well ahead of Hyundai, Ford and Honda. The tail is long, too: the twelfth make on the list, Suzuki, still brought 32 requests, so demand does not stop at the largest makes.
Requests came from every emirate. Dubai sent 403, Abu Dhabi 281 and Sharjah 213, and 305 gave no emirate; Al Ain is counted apart from Abu Dhabi. On the shop's WhatsApp since 7 October, the systems asked for most were electrical (42 of 304 lines), body panels (36), engine (31) and lighting (26).
The table shows the part words used most in the requests for each of the six largest makes. They are mentions, not orders: one request can use a word twice, and the make's own name is left out. The full breakdown, with the counting rules, is on the page about what UAE customers ask for.

| Toyota | 188 |
|---|---|
| Nissan | 171 |
| Hyundai | 74 |
| Ford | 68 |

| Toyota | 188 | brake 15, engine 13, bumper 13, door 11, radiator 9, mirror 9 |
| Nissan | 171 | engine 14, seat 9, gearbox 9, radiator 8, mirror 8, transmission 8 |
| Hyundai | 74 | sensor 6, brake 5, bumper 5, airbag 4, timing 4, radiator 4 |
| Ford | 68 | engine 9, hose 8, radiator 8, sensor 5, intake 4, oxygen 4 |

Grades on your list: genuine, OE-brand and aftermarket
Stock lists carry new parts in three grades: genuine, OE-brand and aftermarket. The guide to genuine, OEM and aftermarket parts in the UAE explains the difference between them, and this page does not repeat it. What matters here is how the grade on your list meets the grade a customer asks for.
Most lines left the grade open. Of the 304 lines on the shop's WhatsApp, 212 would take any grade, 37 asked for genuine only and 23 for aftermarket only. But an aftermarket line is found by a genuine number only through the cross-reference on your list, which is why the genuine-number column matters even on a list that is mostly aftermarket.
The brand column is what keeps each grade honest. When brand spellings are cleaned, a spelling that says genuine keeps the genuine flag, so genuine lines stay marked genuine whatever abbreviation your system uses.
The grade customers asked for
- Any grade: 212 (70%)
- Genuine only: 37 (12%)
- Aftermarket only: 23 (7.6%)
- Not recorded: 32 (11%)
With a list and without one
Without a list, the only way we can offer your parts is to ask you, one part at a time. Between 7 October and 2 November 2026, 294 of the 304 part lines customers sent on WhatsApp were not on any list we held and went to our sourcing desk. The desk sent 488 messages to 52 UAE suppliers, each asking one supplier about one part: 433 on WhatsApp and 55 by phone.
219 of those messages were answered (45%). 124 answers said the part was in stock, and 11 became a priced offer to a customer. The phone count flatters the total: a phone ask is logged by our staff after the call, so every one of the 55 carries an answer. On WhatsApp alone, 164 of 433 were answered (38%).
The 10 lines that matched a list could be priced from it, with nobody waiting on a reply. Asking will not disappear, because no set of lists holds every part. But every part on your list is one we no longer have to message you about, and one whose price does not have to wait on a reply.
What happens when we have to ask suppliers part by part
| What differs | On a stock list we hold | Not on any list |
|---|---|---|
| How we find it | Matched by part number or genuine number when the request is searched | Our sourcing desk messages or phones suppliers one part at a time |
| Who has to act before the customer gets a price | Nobody on your side | A supplier has to read the message and answer it |
| The customer's price | Set from your listed price by our pricing rules | Waits for a supplier's answer |
| What happened, 7 Oct to 2 Nov 2026 | 10 of 304 lines | 294 lines, 488 messages, 219 answered |
| Messages sent between 23:00 and 08:00 | None needed | 9 sent, 1 answered |
| Your time | One file, refreshed when stock changes | One reply for every part, every time |
How long suppliers take to answer a message
When a supplier did answer, the answer usually came quickly. The median wait across the 219 answered messages was 9 minutes, and 132 of them (60%) came within 15 minutes. The tail is long: 20 answers took more than a day, and an answer that arrives the next day reaches a customer who asked the day before.
The time of day changes the odds. Messages sent between 08:00 and 13:00 were answered 47% of the time, and those sent between 13:00 and 18:00 47%. From 18:00 to 23:00 the rate fell to 39%, although the evening answers that did come were the fastest, at a median of 2.7 minutes. Overnight, 9 messages went out and 1 of them got an answer.
Friday is thinner again. Of the 39 messages sent on Fridays, 14 were answered (36%), against 205 of 449 on the other six days (46%).
These are the counts for the weeks named, not a promise about how quickly any request will be answered. What they show is where a message-by-message system leaks: in the evening, overnight and on Fridays, and in every message that is never answered at all.
How long the answered messages took
| Within 15 minutes | 132 |
|---|---|
| 15 to 60 minutes | 31 |
| 1 to 4 hours | 25 |
| 4 to 24 hours | 11 |
| Over a day | 20 |
| Sent between | Messages sent | Answered | Share answered | Median time to answer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 08:00 to 13:00 | 187 | 87 | 47% | 9.1 minutes |
| 13:00 to 18:00 | 220 | 103 | 47% | 11.5 minutes |
| 18:00 to 23:00 | 72 | 28 | 39% | 2.7 minutes |
| 23:00 to 08:00 | 9 | 1 | 11% | too few answers to measure |
When customers ask for parts
Customers do not keep shop hours. Of the 1,380 requests that came through the website and the first WhatsApp bot between 20 July and 1 November 2026, 950 arrived between 08:00 and 18:00 Dubai time, 305 between 18:00 and midnight, and 125 between midnight and 08:00. That is 430 requests, 31% of the total, outside 08:00 to 18:00.
Set beside the answer rates in the section above, the evening is where a list does the most useful work: requests keep arriving after 18:00, while fewer than half of the messages sent to suppliers in the evening were answered. By day of the week, Saturday brought the most requests (238) and Friday the fewest (140).
Part requests by Dubai time of day
| Midnight to 08:00 | 125 |
|---|---|
| 08:00 to 18:00 | 950 |
| 18:00 to midnight | 305 |
Problems and fixes
Most problems show up at one of three moments: when you choose the file, when it loads, or when an order arrives. Each has a visible sign, and almost every one is fixed in the next file you send. Nothing on your list is deleted while a problem is being fixed: lines are set aside, or marked unavailable, and come back when the cause is gone.
| Sign | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The form shows odd column names before Send | A title row or merged cells above the real header row | Delete the rows above the header and choose the file again |
| The form will not take the file | It is over 4 MB, or an Excel file with macros (XLSM or XLSB) | Paste a download link or email it; save a macro file as plain XLSX or CSV |
| A new file did not load | A mapped column was renamed or removed after the mapping was saved | The file is re-mapped with you; your last good file stays live meanwhile |
| Some lines were set aside | No part number, an unreadable number, no brand, no price, an unknown warehouse code, a duplicate, or a line not new | Fix those cells in the next file |
| Every line was set aside for having no brand | The list has no brand column | Add one, or say in the note that the whole list is one brand |
| One warehouse's lines did not load | Its code is new to us | Tell us what the code means and where that stock is |
| Your parts are found only by your own numbers | The list has no genuine cross-reference column | Add the genuine (OE) number beside each line |
| Your prices are marked stale | No new file for 30 days (by hand) or 3 days (automatic daily) | Send a fresh file |
| A part shows as unavailable | It was missing from your latest file | It comes back when it reappears; or ask for the three-day hold |
| We still message you about parts you hold | Those parts are not on your list, or the list has no prices | Add them, with prices, to the next file |
| An order arrives for a part you have sold | The list was out of date | Tell us at once so we can look elsewhere, and send a fresh file |
The disadvantages, stated plainly
Selling through Easy Auto is not the right answer for every supplier, and it is better to know the drawbacks before you send a file than after. The largest is the simplest: a listed part sells only when a customer asks for it. We cannot tell you how many of your lines will be ordered, and this page makes no such promise.
The others follow from how the model works. You give up the customer relationship for the parts we sell, because the customer buys from Easy Auto. You do not set the customer's price. And a list is work that never quite ends, because a stale list stops selling online.
| Drawback | Why | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| A listed part is not a sold part | An order depends on a customer asking for that part | List what customers ask for most; the demand page shows it |
| You do not set the customer's price | Our pricing rules set it from yours | Your price is what you are paid, so set it to what the part is worth to you |
| Customers do not see your shop's name | They buy from Easy Auto and do not see which supplier a part comes from | A listing in the Easy Auto directory is separate and carries your name |
| The list needs keeping current | Stale prices are not sold online | Send a fresh file whenever stock changes |
| Terms are not published | They are agreed with each supplier before the first order | Settle every term in the first conversation, before anything goes live |
| Used parts are not listed | Stock lists are for new parts | Send the new-part lines only |
UAE law that applies when parts are sold online
This section sets out what UAE law asks of a parts supplier, as we read it on 4 November 2026 on the UAE Legislation Portal and on the authorities' own pages; where the portal's English translation and the Arabic text differ, the Arabic prevails. Some of the rules apply when you sell to the public, or online on your own account. Others are written for anyone who imports, stores, distributes, offers or sells a part.
If you sell online on your own account, through your own website, an app, an online marketplace or social media, you are a digital trader under the e-commerce law, Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Modern Technology-Based Trade, in force since 16 September 2023. A digital trader must hold the approvals, permits and licences the competent authority requires, must not mislead or describe a product untruly, and must give the buyer a detailed electronic invoice for every purchase. Your customer may return or replace goods that arrive defective, incomplete, damaged or different from your description. Fines under the law have applied since 13 December 2025 under Cabinet Resolution No. 200 of 2025, and most first offences start with a written warning and up to 15 days to put things right.
When you sell to the public, the consumer protection law applies to you as a provider. Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, with its Executive Regulations in Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023, treats distributors, traders, importers and sellers alike as providers, and its consumer can be a company as well as a person, so a garage buying a part from you is protected too. You must give a detailed invoice in Arabic showing your trade name, address, the goods, the price and the quantity. If a fault is found, you must repair, replace or take back the goods and refund the price, free of charge. A notice saying goods are neither returned nor exchanged is banned except in three listed cases, and any term that would release you from your duties under the law is void.
The counterfeit rules reach every list. Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023 on Anti-Commercial Fraud, in force since 29 November 2023 and applying in free zones too, prohibits importing, storing, displaying, selling or holding counterfeit goods for sale. A seller is not excused because the buyer knew the goods were counterfeit, and the penalty is up to two years in prison and/or a fine of AED 5,000 to AED 1,000,000. Under the trademark law, Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021, knowingly selling or holding for sale goods with a counterfeit or imitated trademark carries up to one year in prison and/or a fine of AED 50,000 to AED 200,000. That is one more reason the brand column matters: the brand on each line should be the brand on the part.
Conformity has its own scheme. Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, the UAE Scheme for Automotive Spare Parts, in force since 1 May 2018, counts importers, agents, storage companies and main or sub-distributors as suppliers. A supplier must obtain a conformity certificate before offering any part type on the resolution's schedule, and offering includes selling, storing, marketing and promoting. The schedule has 15 numbered entries, among them braking systems and brake pads, engine radiators, rear-view mirrors, lead-acid starter batteries, and oil and air filters; brake, radiator, filter, battery and mirror are all among the words customers use most in their requests to us. A listed part may not be imported or put on the market unless it is registered under ECAS with a conformity certificate, and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology now issues those certificates.
On tax, the standard VAT rate is 5%. A business must register when its taxable supplies and imports pass AED 375,000 over the previous 12 months, or are expected to within the next 30 days, and may register voluntarily above AED 187,500. Once registered, you must issue a tax invoice for every taxable sale and deliver it; the Federal Tax Authority says offering one only on request does not meet the rule. National e-invoicing becomes compulsory by 1 July 2027 for businesses with revenue under AED 50 million, which must appoint an accredited service provider by 31 March 2027. Sales to private individuals are outside it until the Minister decides otherwise, sales to businesses are in scope, and a PDF or an emailed invoice is not an e-invoice under the UAE system.
Finally, check your trade licence. In Sharjah, the economic development department lists trading in new car parts as Cars New Spare Parts Trading, code 4530001, with no external approvals. Dubai's business set-up platform, Invest in Dubai, lists the matching Dubai activity as Auto Spare Parts & Components Trading, also code 4530001, regulated by the Department of Economy and Tourism. The federal government portal's summary says selling online on the mainland needs a commercial licence that includes an eCommerce activity; how that applies to your own business is a question for your licensing authority.
This section is a summary of the law for orientation, not legal advice: check it against Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023, Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021, Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 and the Federal Tax Authority's own pages.

No account and no sign-up. A person checks the file and contacts you before anything goes live. Prefer email? Send it to hello@easyauto.ae.
Questions suppliers ask
- Do I need an account to send my stock list?
- No. The upload form asks for your business name, a WhatsApp number or an email, and the file. There is no account, no password and no card. A person contacts you after checking the file.
- What file formats can I send?
- CSV, TSV or TXT, Excel, PDF, or a photo of a printed list as JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 4 MB by upload. The form also accepts older XLS workbooks, but save as XLSX or as a UTF-8 CSV where you can. For a bigger file, paste a Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link, or email it to hello@easyauto.ae. Excel workbooks with macros are not accepted.
- Which columns does my list need?
- Part number, brand, quantity and your price. Genuine or cross-reference numbers, a description, warehouse codes, discounts, currency and condition help if you have them. Column names and order do not matter; we map them.
- Will customers see my prices?
- No. Customers see Easy Auto's price, which our pricing rules set from yours, and they pay Easy Auto. Your price is what we pay you when we order the part.
- Do customers contact me directly?
- No. The customer deals with Easy Auto from the first message to delivery and after. You hear from us when a part on your list has been ordered.
- How often should I update the list?
- Whenever your stock changes, as often as daily. The same column mapping reads every new file. A list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days without a new copy: its prices are marked stale and are not sold online until a fresh file arrives.
- Can I send a list without prices?
- Yes. A list without prices is not loaded as priced stock, but it is kept as ask-first: when a customer wants one of its parts, you are the supplier we ask first.
- How am I paid, and who collects the part?
- Both are agreed with each supplier before the first order: how orders reach you, collection or delivery, invoicing and payment. Suppliers in the UAE work in different ways, so we set this up with you rather than impose one rule.
- Is there a fee or a commission?
- This page states none. The commercial terms are agreed with each supplier before the first order and recorded on our side, and nothing goes live until that conversation has happened. Ask about anything you want settled in it.
- How long before my parts go live?
- There is no fixed time, and we do not promise one. The order is always the same: a person checks the file, contacts you, maps your columns and agrees the terms, and only then does the file load.
- What happens to lines with mistakes?
- They are set aside, not deleted. A line is set aside for having no part number, an unreadable part number, no brand, no price, a warehouse code we do not know, a duplicate, or for not being new. Fix the cells and the next file loads them.
- Can my prices be in US dollars or euros?
- Yes. Prices can be in AED, USD or EUR, per line or for the whole list. The exchange rate used is recorded with each line.
- How should I show VAT on my prices?
- Tell us whether your prices include VAT, and give your tax registration number if you are VAT registered. That is recorded as part of your price basis before the first order.
- I keep stock in more than one place. Can one list cover it?
- Yes. Give each line a warehouse or stock code. Each code becomes one of your locations, with its own readiness time, so a part on your counter and a part in a second store are offered differently.
- Can I list used parts?
- No. Stock lists are for new parts: genuine, OE-brand and aftermarket. Lines marked used, or otherwise not new, are set aside when the file loads; the new lines on the same list load as normal.
- Do I have to send a list to sell through Easy Auto?
- No. When no list holds a part, our sourcing desk asks suppliers one part at a time by WhatsApp or phone, and some suppliers work with us only that way. A list means the parts on it are found without a message.
- What if a part on my list sells at my counter first?
- Tell us when we order, so we can tell the customer and look elsewhere, and send a fresh file. When a part is missing from a new file it is marked unavailable, and it returns when it reappears.
- Which emirates do the requests come from?
- All seven. Between 20 July and 1 November 2026, Dubai sent 403 requests, Abu Dhabi 281 and Sharjah 213, with the rest spread across the other emirates and 305 giving none.
- Do I need a conformity certificate for the parts on my list?
- For part types on the schedule of Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, the UAE Scheme for Automotive Spare Parts, yes: a supplier must obtain one before offering them, and the scheme counts importers, agents, storage companies and distributors as suppliers. The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology issues the certificates. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice.
- When does a parts supplier have to register for VAT?
- The Federal Tax Authority sets the mandatory threshold at AED 375,000 of taxable supplies and imports over the previous 12 months, or when that is expected within the next 30 days; voluntary registration opens at AED 187,500. A business that must register has 30 days to apply. This is a summary for orientation, not tax advice.
