How a parts brand sells online in the UAE without its own shops
Updated
The quick answer
A parts brand reaches UAE customers online through the stock its distributors hold, not through a shop of its own. When your UAE distributors send their stock lists to Easy Auto, your brand's lines can be offered on matching requests we receive, priced from the distributor's price, and ordered from the distributor when a customer buys. Two things decide how often your parts are offered: whether your distributors send their lists, and whether those lists carry your cross-references to genuine numbers. Many customers are open to other brands: of 304 part lines on Easy Auto's WhatsApp between 7 October and 2 November 2026, 235 (77%) would take a non-genuine part.
Key facts
- Easy Auto buys from the distributor whose list holds your part, at the distributor's price. The brand does not need a UAE shop, a UAE website or a marketplace account.
- Brands reach customers through lists: the stock lists we hold carry 292 brands across 91,328 current lines (3 November 2026).
- Most part lines did not insist on genuine: 212 of 304 WhatsApp part lines would take any grade and 23 asked for aftermarket only, 7 October to 2 November 2026.
- Cross-references decide visibility. Customers ask for the part for their car, which becomes the carmaker's number; your part is only offered if a list says which genuine number it replaces.
- Demand leans to Japanese makes: Toyota (188) and Nissan (171) led 1,380 requests, 20 July to 1 November 2026.
- There is no paid placement in the shop today, and no brand's prices are published. Customers are offered parts that fit and are in stock.

Where online parts demand goes in the UAE
A driver who needs a part asks for the part for their car, on WhatsApp, on a website or at a counter. Many do not ask for a brand, and only a few give a part number. The question is answered by whoever holds stock and can say, quickly, which part fits. In the UAE that is a distributor's counter, a parts shop, or a seller like Easy Auto that searches many suppliers' lists at once.
So a brand's online presence in the UAE is, in practice, its presence in its distributors' stock and in the catalogues that link its numbers to the cars. A brand page or an advert can build recognition, but the sale happens where the stock is.
The numbers bear this out. Of the 1,380 requests Easy Auto received between 20 July and 1 November 2026, 67 carried a part number of any kind, 4.9% of the total, and any request that named a brand's own catalogue number sits inside that small group. Everything else arrived as a car and a description, and reached a brand only if some list linked that car's part to the brand's line.
How your range reaches customers through Easy Auto
Your distributors send us their stock lists, with your brand in the brand column. Each line becomes an offer we can make on matching requests: priced from the distributor's price, ordered from the distributor when a customer buys, collected or delivered on the terms agreed with that distributor. You do not need to sell to us directly or hold stock in the UAE yourself.
If your range is held by several distributors, each one's list carries it, and the customer is offered your part from whichever holds it. If you have no distributor in the UAE yet, a list cannot help until you do; this is not a route around a distribution agreement.
From your factory to a UAE customer, online
- 1Your distributor holds stockin the UAE, under your brand
- 2It sends its list to Easy Autowith your brand and cross-references
- 3A customer asks for a partfor their car, on WhatsApp or the web
- 4Your part is offeredif it fits and is in stock
- 5We order from the distributorat the distributor's price
Who does what between a brand, its distributor and Easy Auto
Three parties touch a sale of your part through Easy Auto, and each owns different work. The brand owns the part and the data that says which cars it fits. The distributor owns the stock in the UAE and the list that describes it. Easy Auto owns the customer: finding them, identifying the part, pricing it, taking the payment and handling everything after. Nothing in that split asks the brand to run a retail operation in the UAE.
| Work | Who | How |
|---|---|---|
| Making the part and publishing which genuine numbers it replaces | The brand | Through its catalogue and cross-reference data |
| Holding stock in the UAE | The distributor | Under the brand's name, at its own locations |
| Sending the stock list | The distributor | Through the upload form or by email, with brand and genuine-number columns |
| Finding the customer and identifying the part | Easy Auto | From the car, its VIN, a photo of the part or its label, or a number |
| Pricing and taking payment | Easy Auto | Our price, set from the distributor's price; the customer pays Easy Auto |
| Supplying the part | The distributor | On the terms agreed with Easy Auto before the first order |
| After-sales with the customer | Easy Auto | Questions, delivery updates and after-sales come to us |
Cross-references decide how often you are offered
Almost every request becomes a carmaker's number before any list is searched. Your part is matched to that number only if a list says which genuine number it replaces. A distributor list that carries only your own numbers will be found by the rare customer who asks for your number, and missed by everyone else.
If your distributors' systems do not carry your cross-references, your own catalogue data is the fix. Ask them to include it in their exports, or send it with a note through the upload form and we will talk through how it can be used.
Across every supplier list we held on 3 November 2026, 66,479 of 91,328 lines carried at least one genuine number. A brand whose lines sit in the rest, without a genuine number beside them, is present in our stock but almost never reached by a customer who starts from the car.
| Column | Why it matters for a brand |
|---|---|
| Your brand, spelled consistently | Keeps your lines apart from the genuine part and other brands at the same number |
| Your own part number | Lets customers and garages who know your range find it |
| The genuine numbers it replaces | Lets the much larger number of requests by car find your part |
| Quantity and the distributor's price | Makes the line an offer we can price and order |
| Warehouse or stock code | Sets the readiness time customers are quoted |
Demand by car make
A brand's range meets UAE demand where the cars are. Of the 1,380 requests between 20 July and 1 November 2026, Toyota (188) and Nissan (171) led by a wide margin, ahead of Hyundai (74), Ford (68), Honda (65) and Mitsubishi (62). 8 of the top 12 makes are Japanese or Korean, and between them they account for 690 of the 883 requests the top 12 sent. Of the rest, Ford is the largest, followed by BMW (43), Chevrolet (41) and Mercedes-Benz (41).
The words in those requests show which parts each make is asked for. Engine words are among the most mentioned for 5 of the 6 largest makes and radiator for 5; brake words lead for Toyota and Honda, and sensors appear for Hyundai and Ford. These are mentions in the request text, not orders, and one request can mention more than one part. For a brand, the table is a rough map of where its catalogue's cross-references to these makes will be tested first.
Part requests by car make, all twelve largest
| Toyota | 188 |
|---|---|
| Nissan | 171 |
| Hyundai | 74 |
| Ford | 68 |
| Honda | 65 |
| Mitsubishi | 62 |
| Lexus | 54 |
| Kia | 44 |
| BMW | 43 |
| Chevrolet | 41 |
| Mercedes-Benz | 41 |
| Suzuki | 32 |
| Make | Requests | Part words mentioned most, with counts |
|---|---|---|
| Toyota | 188 | brake (15), engine (13), bumper (13), door (11), radiator (9), mirror (9) |
| Nissan | 171 | engine (14), seat (9), gearbox (9), radiator (8), mirror (8), transmission (8) |
| Hyundai | 74 | sensor (6), brake (5), bumper (5), airbag (4), timing (4), radiator (4) |
| Ford | 68 | engine (9), hose (8), radiator (8), sensor (5), intake (4), oxygen (4) |
| Honda | 65 | brake (9), bumper (9), hood (8), engine (6), radiator (5), headlight (4) |
| Mitsubishi | 62 | engine (10), cover (8), compressor (5), light (4), battery (4), suspension (3) |
What UAE customers are open to
When the shop's WhatsApp records a preference, most lines do not insist on genuine. Of 304 part lines between 7 October and 2 November 2026, 212 would take any grade and 23 asked for aftermarket only, against 37 that asked for genuine only. For an aftermarket or OE-brand maker, that is most of the demand.
Demand also leans heavily by make, as the section above shows. A brand strong in parts for Toyota and Nissan, then Hyundai, Ford, Honda and Mitsubishi, is likely to be offered most often, because those cars send the most requests.
Openness is not the same as a sale. A customer open to any grade can be offered the genuine part too, where a list holds it. What a non-genuine brand gains is a chance to be offered, which it has only when its line can be found.
The grade customers asked for
- Any grade: 212 (70%)
- Genuine only: 37 (12%)
- Aftermarket only: 23 (7.6%)
- Not recorded: 32 (11%)
Where a brand should start
The right first step depends on how a brand already reaches the UAE. The table covers the usual situations. In every one of them, the work that moves the most is the same: a distributor list carrying the brand under one spelling, with the genuine numbers each line replaces.
| Your situation | First step | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Your UAE distributor already sends us its list | Check that its export carries your brand spelled one way and your cross-references | Requests that start from the car can reach your lines |
| Your UAE distributor does not send a list | Point it to the upload form; a list without prices is still kept, as ask-first | Your distributor is asked first when a customer wants a part on its list |
| You hold your own stock in the UAE | Send your own list | You become the supplier we order from for that stock |
| Your catalogue data is missing from your distributors' exports | Send it through the upload form with a note on what it covers | We talk through with you how it can be used with their lists |
| You have no UAE distributor yet | None through Easy Auto: a list cannot help until stock is held in the UAE | Nothing, until a distributor holds your range here |
When a brand is not being reached: sign, cause and fix
A brand rarely sees its own lines in our stock, because it sees them through its distributors. The signs below are the ones a brand hears about from a distributor or notices in its own sales, with the usual cause behind each and what changes it.
| Sign | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Your range is held in the UAE but customers who ask by car are never offered it | The distributor's export carries your numbers without the genuine numbers they replace | Ask the distributor to export your cross-references, or send your catalogue data with a note |
| Your parts are offered from one distributor only | Only that distributor sends us its list | Point your other UAE distributors to the upload form |
| Your lines are on a list but never priced | The list came without prices, so it is kept as ask-first | A priced list lets a line be offered without a message first |
| Your distributor's lines stop being offered | No fresh file arrived in time: 3 days for a daily automatic file, 30 days for one sent by hand | A fresh file from the distributor; stale prices are not sold online until it loads |
| Some of your parts drop out of the offers for a while | They left the distributor's latest file and were marked unavailable, not deleted | They return when a later file includes them |
What Easy Auto does not do for brands
To be clear about the limits: Easy Auto does not sell placement for brands in the shop today, and does not publish a brand's prices. The customer is offered parts that fit and are in stock. Easy Auto also publishes editorial pages about parts brands sold in the UAE, written from public sources; those are independent of whether a brand's distributors send lists.
Supplier price lists, a distributor's included, are never published, and customers do not see which supplier a part comes from. A brand that wants its range offered more often has two levers, and both are data: more of its distributors' lists, and more genuine numbers in them.
| Question | Answer today |
|---|---|
| Paid placement in the shop | None: there is no paid placement in the shop today |
| Publishing a brand's prices | No: supplier price lists are never published |
| Showing customers which supplier a part comes from | No: customers do not see which supplier a part comes from |
| Buying from the brand directly | Where the brand holds its own UAE stock and sends its own list |
| Demand reports for one brand | Not offered; the demand figures are the ones published on these pages |
| Editorial pages about a brand | Written from public sources, independent of any distributor's list |
Trademark and counterfeit law for parts brands in the UAE
A brand's protection in the UAE starts with its registered trademark. The trademark law in force is Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021, which replaced the 1992 law on 2 January 2022. Under it, knowingly selling, offering or holding for sale goods that bear a counterfeited or imitated trademark is a crime carrying up to one year in prison and/or a fine of AED 50,000 to AED 200,000. Knowingly importing such goods carries prison and/or a fine of AED 100,000 to AED 1,000,000, and a repeat offence up to twice the maximum, with the court able to close the business.
The commercial fraud law, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023, reaches the same goods from another side. It calls goods that bear a registered trademark, or one like it, without permission counterfeit; it prohibits dealing in them at every step from import and storage to display and sale; and it applies in free zones as well as on the mainland. The person who actually manages a company that breaks it can face the same penalty if they knew of the offence and did not act.
Its Executive Regulations, Cabinet Resolution No. 107 of 2026, in force since 13 August 2026, say what a supplier must do once the authority notifies it about fraudulent or counterfeit goods: stop selling them at once, withdraw them and tell everyone it supplied within 24 hours, publish a withdrawal announcement in Arabic and English within 48 hours, and send a withdrawal report within five working days.
Distributors carry a conformity duty as well. Under Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, the UAE scheme for automotive spare parts, importers, agents, storage companies and main or sub-distributors all count as suppliers, and a part type on the scheme's schedule may not be imported or put on the market unless it is registered under the scheme and holds a conformity certificate. The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology issues those certificates today.
This section is a summary of Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023, Cabinet Resolution No. 107 of 2026 and Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, read on 4 November 2026, for orientation only and not legal advice.

| Importing such goods | Prison and/or AED 100,000 to AED 1,000,000 when done knowingly | Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021, Article 49 |

Questions suppliers ask
- Can a parts brand sell online in the UAE without a local shop?
- Yes, through its UAE distributors. When they send their stock lists to Easy Auto, the brand's parts can be offered to customers who ask us, and we order from the distributor.
- Does Easy Auto buy directly from brands?
- We buy from whoever holds the stock in the UAE, usually the distributor, at that supplier's price. A brand with its own UAE stock can send its own list.
- Why are our parts not offered when customers ask?
- Often because the lists that hold them do not carry cross-references to genuine numbers, or because a distributor does not send its list. Both can be fixed.
- Do customers in the UAE accept aftermarket brands?
- Most part lines did not insist on genuine. 77% of WhatsApp part lines, 7 October to 2 November 2026, would take a non-genuine part.
- Can we pay for our brand to be shown first?
- There is no paid placement in the shop today. Customers are offered parts that fit and are in stock.
- Can a brand send its cross-reference data?
- Yes. Send it through the upload form with a note about what it covers, and we will talk through how it can be used with your distributors' lists.
- Which car makes do UAE customers ask about most?
- Toyota (188) and Nissan (171), then Hyundai, Ford, Honda and Mitsubishi, in 1,380 requests between 20 July and 1 November 2026. 8 of the top 12 makes are Japanese or Korean.
- Does Easy Auto publish the prices of our parts?
- No. Supplier price lists are never published. Customers see Easy Auto's price for an offer, set from the supplier's price, and do not see which supplier it comes from.
- We have no distributor in the UAE. Can we still be listed?
- Not through a stock list yet. A list can help only once a distributor, or the brand itself, holds your range in the UAE and sends it to us.
- How many brands are in the stock lists you hold?
- 292 brands across 91,328 current lines on 3 November 2026, from the suppliers who send us stock files.
- Our distributor spells our brand three ways. Does that matter?
- Not for long. Each spelling is matched to one brand name when the distributor's file is first mapped, and the rule is reused for every later file. Spelling it one way in the export still helps.
- Do our own part numbers matter if customers ask by car?
- Yes, for the garages and buyers who ask by your number. But a request that starts from the car reaches your line only through the genuine number it replaces, so both columns count.
- What does UAE law say about selling counterfeits of a brand?
- Under Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021, knowingly selling or holding for sale goods with a counterfeited or imitated trademark carries up to one year in prison and/or a fine of AED 50,000 to AED 200,000. The fraud law, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023, prohibits trading in counterfeit goods as well. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice.
- What must a distributor do if the authority flags counterfeit stock?
- Under Cabinet Resolution No. 107 of 2026: stop selling at once, withdraw the goods and tell everyone it supplied within 24 hours, publish a withdrawal announcement in Arabic and English within 48 hours, and report within five working days. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice.
- Which parts do customers ask for, make by make?
- The request text gives a pattern, counted as mentions rather than orders. The most-mentioned part words, with their counts, were brake (15), engine (13), bumper (13) for Toyota and engine (14), seat (9), gearbox (9) for Nissan. The table on this page covers six makes.
