For parts suppliers
How a UAE car parts shop gets more orders
Updated
The quick answer
A UAE parts shop gets more orders in four ways: by stocking what customers actually ask for, by being easy to find by name, by answering requests faster than the shop next door, and by putting its stock in front of requests it never sees. Easy Auto's data shows how much is at stake in each: when our sourcing desk sent UAE suppliers 488 part-by-part asks between 7 October and 2 November 2026, 55% of the asks were never answered, and of 304 part lines customers sent us, only 10 were on a stock list we held. Easy Auto helps with all four: our request data shows what is asked for, the Easy Auto directory gives your shop a page of its own, and a stock list sent to us is checked against every request we receive, 287 on WhatsApp alone in those weeks, without adding a single conversation to your day.
Key facts
- On Easy Auto's WhatsApp, electrical parts (42 lines), body panels (36) and engine parts (31) were the most requested systems, 7 October to 2 November 2026.
- What customers mention depends on the make: brake leads in Toyota requests, engine in Nissan, Ford and Mitsubishi requests, and sensor in Hyundai requests, 20 July to 1 November 2026.
- The Easy Auto directory has 5,076 business pages, viewed 9,432 times in the 28 days to 3 September 2026; claiming your shop's page lets you keep its details right.
- Speed matters: when UAE suppliers answered our part requests, half answered within 9 minutes, but 55% of our 488 asks, by WhatsApp and phone, were never answered.
- Fridays are weakest: 36% of our Friday asks to suppliers were answered, against 46% on other days.
- Most of what customers ask us for is on no list: of 304 part lines customers sent us, 294 were not in any stock list we hold.
- A stock list with Easy Auto can bring orders without adding conversations: you hear from us only when a part has been ordered.

The four ways, and where Easy Auto helps
More orders come from more of the right customers seeing that you have the part, and from losing fewer of the ones who already ask. Everything a parts shop can do falls under one of four headings. The table sets them out with what each takes and what Easy Auto does for it.
The four are not equal in effort. Being easy to find by name is a one-off job with a little upkeep. Answering faster is daily work that never ends. Stocking what is asked for and reaching unseen requests both depend on something every shop already has, a record of its stock, put where requests can meet it.
| Way | What it takes from you | What Easy Auto does |
|---|---|---|
| Stock what customers ask for | Knowing which parts are asked for, not just which sold last month | Publishes what UAE customers ask us for, by make, system and condition |
| Be easy to find by name | Accurate details wherever customers look you up | A directory page for your shop, which you can claim and keep right |
| Answer faster | Someone free to reply, all day | Offers the parts on your list without waiting for anyone at your shop to reply |
| Reach requests you never see | Being where customers ask, across the emirates | Checks every request we receive against your stock list |
Stock what customers ask for
A shop's own sales only show what it already stocks. Requests show what customers wanted, whether anyone had it or not. On Easy Auto's WhatsApp between 7 October and 2 November 2026, electrical parts led, then body panels, engine parts, lighting and cooling. Our full request data, by make, emirate, month, hour, system and the condition customers asked for, is published on the page about what UAE customers ask for, with a re-count planned every quarter.
The make you specialise in changes the picture. In the requests that named a make between 20 July and 1 November 2026, the part words differed by make: Toyota customers mentioned brake most, Nissan customers engine, Honda customers brake and bumper, then hood. The table gives the top three words for each of the six makes asked about most. They are mentions, not requests, and the counts are small enough to read as pointers rather than a ranking.
Use both to check your range against demand, especially for the makes you specialise in. A gap that customers keep asking about is a line worth adding; a part you already hold that matches it is a line worth making sure is on your list.
What customers asked for on WhatsApp, by system
| Electrical | 42 |
|---|---|
| Body panels | 36 |
| Engine | 31 |
| Lighting | 26 |
| Cooling | 20 |
| Suspension | 19 |
| Transmission | 17 |
| Brakes | 11 |
| Fluids | 8 |
| Make | Requests | Top three part words |
|---|---|---|
| Toyota | 188 | brake (15 mentions); engine (13 mentions); bumper (13 mentions) |
| Nissan | 171 | engine (14 mentions); seat (9 mentions); gearbox (9 mentions) |
| Hyundai | 74 | sensor (6 mentions); brake (5 mentions); bumper (5 mentions) |
| Ford | 68 | engine (9 mentions); hose (8 mentions); radiator (8 mentions) |
| Honda | 65 | brake (9 mentions); bumper (9 mentions); hood (8 mentions) |
| Mitsubishi | 62 | engine (10 mentions); cover (8 mentions); compressor (5 mentions) |
Be easy to find by name
Customers who already know your shop often look you up before they call: your phone number, your location, your hours, whether you sell the make they drive. Wherever those details are wrong, the order can go to the next shop. The Easy Auto directory lists 5,076 car-related businesses across the UAE, parts shops among them, each on a page of its own, and people do read them: the directory's business pages were viewed 9,432 times in the 28 days to 3 September 2026.
Claim your shop's page to correct its details and add what you sell. The claim page lets you search for your business and claim the listing to manage its profile, photos and contact details; if your shop is not listed yet, it can be added as a new listing from the same page. Claiming a page is separate from sending stock, and you can do either or both.
Keep the same details everywhere else customers look you up, especially your map listing. One correct phone number and one correct location, repeated everywhere, is worth more than any advert. The table lists the details customers check, and what goes wrong when one is out of date.
| Detail | Why customers check it | When it is out of date |
|---|---|---|
| Phone or WhatsApp number | Many parts requests start with a message or a call | The request goes to the next shop |
| Location and map pin | Customers collect, or send a driver | A wasted trip and a customer who does not come back |
| Opening hours, Friday included | Customers check before they drive | A closed shutter |
| Makes you specialise in | Customers look for shops that know their car | Customers who drive that make skip you |
| What you sell: genuine, aftermarket or both | Some customers want one grade only | Calls you cannot help with, and calls you never get |
| Photos of the shop front | It helps customers find you in a busy market | Customers walk past |
Answer faster than the shop next door
When Easy Auto's sourcing desk asks UAE suppliers for parts, the answers that come back come fast: half within 9 minutes. But 269 of 488 asks, 55%, by WhatsApp and phone together, were never answered. A customer who asks several shops at once often buys from the first good answer, so the shop that answers every request, quickly and with a price, can win orders the others never knew they lost.
Speed is only half of it. Of 219 answers, 132 arrived within 15 minutes and 163 within the hour, but 20 took more than a day, by which time a customer may well have bought elsewhere.
On WhatsApp alone, 164 of 433 asks were answered, 38%. The 55 phone asks are logged by our staff after a call, so every one of them carries an answer; the two channels cannot be compared, but the WhatsApp figure is the fair measure of how often a written request gets a reply.
Our page on selling car parts on WhatsApp sets out what a good answer contains and where WhatsApp selling breaks down.
How long suppliers took to answer
| Within 15 minutes | 132 |
|---|---|
| 15 to 60 minutes | 31 |
| 1 to 4 hours | 25 |
| 4 to 24 hours | 11 |
| Over a day | 20 |
Answer at the hours requests arrive
When an ask was sent made a difference too. Morning and afternoon asks were answered at much the same rate, 47% and 47%. Evening asks, sent between 18:00 and 23:00, were answered less often, 39%, but the answers that did come came fastest, with a median of 2.7 minutes. Of 9 asks sent between 23:00 and 08:00, 1 got an answer.
Friday is the weak day. 14 of 39 Friday asks were answered (36%), against 205 of 449 (46%) on the other days of the week.
The lesson for a shop is not to work every hour. It is that the hours you are not answering are hours your stock cannot be found, unless it is written down somewhere a request can meet it. A shop that answers well from 08:00 to 18:00 and has a list for the rest covers both.
| Time sent | Asks sent | Answered | Share answered | Median wait for an answer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 08:00 to 13:00 | 187 | 87 | 47% | 9.1 minutes |
| 13:00 to 18:00 | 220 | 103 | 47% | 11.5 minutes |
| 18:00 to 23:00 | 72 | 28 | 39% | 2.7 minutes |
| 23:00 to 08:00 | 9 | 1 | 11% | Too few answers to say |
Reach the requests you never see
No single shop sees all the demand for parts. Many customers ask the shops they know, the ones near them, or the ones that answered last time. Of 304 part lines customers sent Easy Auto between 7 October and 2 November 2026, 294 were not in any stock list we held, and our sourcing desk had to go looking.
The funnel shows what happens when a part is on no list. Of 488 asks to 52 suppliers, 219 were answered, 124 answers said the part was in stock, and 11 became a priced offer to a customer. This data does not record why each one stopped where it did. Between a yes and an offer, the price, the brand and the time to collect all have to suit a customer who has been waiting.
A part on a stock list skips the top of that funnel. It is found by the search, with its price and brand already known, and the supplier hears nothing until the customer has ordered. The one exception is a list without prices, which is kept as ask-first: we ask that supplier before offering the part.
A stock list sent to Easy Auto has your shelves checked against those requests, from every emirate, whether or not your shop is open when they arrive. When a customer orders a part on your list, we order it from you at your price. You do not answer the customer or take the payment, so any orders come without the conversations.
What happened to part-by-part asks
Why shops lose orders, and the fix for each
Many lost orders are never seen as lost. The customer buys elsewhere and the shop never learns there was a request. The table lists the common reasons as they look from the asking side, where our sourcing desk sits, with the fix for each.
| Reason | What the customer sees | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No answer to the message | Silence, so they ask another shop | Answer every request, a quick no included |
| The answer comes the next day | They have already bought | Answer within the hour, or put your stock on a list |
| An answer without a price | Another round of questions | The price the customer will pay, VAT included if you charge it, and the brand |
| The part is on the shelf but on no list | Nobody asks you | Send your stock list |
| A wrong number or map pin online | They cannot reach or find you | Claim your directory page and correct it |
| The box is under an old number | They ask by the newer number and you do not recognise it | Add the newer number beside the old one |
| Closed on Friday or after hours | The request waits until you open | A list that does not depend on anyone being at the counter |
| A stock list that has gone stale | Prices shown as stale and not sold online | Send a fresh copy at least every 30 days |
Which way to start with, by type of shop
Every shop can use all four ways, but not every shop should start in the same place. The table suggests a first step and a second one for the common kinds of parts business in the UAE. It names no shop and ranks none; it is a starting point to adapt.
| Your shop | Start with | Then |
|---|---|---|
| A counter shop in a parts market, mixed makes | Claim your directory page and check its details | Send your stock list, in whatever form it is in |
| A specialist in one make | Check your range against what that make's customers ask for | List the whole range with genuine numbers |
| A shop with a shop system or spreadsheet | Send the full export | Keep sending it in the same layout |
| A wholesaler or distributor with a large book | Send the book with its warehouse codes | Agree how orders reach you before the first one |
| A shop with slow-moving stock | List it all, one-offs included | Lower prices in the file on lines you want to move |
| A shop that answers WhatsApp all day | Keep your WhatsApp for your own customers | Add a list for the hours and the parts you cannot answer |
How to start, step by step
First, find your shop in the Easy Auto directory and claim its page, then correct the phone number, the location, the hours and what you sell. Second, make those same details match wherever else customers look you up, your map listing above all. Third, send your stock list through the upload form or by email to hello@easyauto.ae: your business name, a WhatsApp number or an email, the file and an optional note, with no account, sign-up or card. Fourth, when we contact you about the file, agree the terms recorded before the first order: how orders reach you, collection or delivery, any minimum order, the price basis, invoicing, payment and returns. Fifth, keep the list current: a list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days, and a part that leaves your shelf should leave the next file.
Steps one and two make you easier to find by name. Steps three to five put your stock in front of requests that never reach you. Answering faster is the one way that stays entirely in your hands, and nothing on this page replaces it.
A person checks every file before anything goes live, and the first time, maps your columns to ours. That mapping is saved, so every later file in the same layout loads the same way. A column you add loads as before; if a column we map is renamed or removed, the load stops instead of guessing, the last good file's stock stays live, and the file is mapped again with you.
What the law asks of a shop that sells online itself
More orders online bring duties with them. A shop that sells through its own website, an online platform, an app or social media is a digital trader under the UAE's e-commerce law, Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, in force since 16 September 2023. The duties below are the ones that touch winning and keeping orders, as the laws state them, read on 4 November 2026.
Show who you are. The e-commerce law gives customers the right to see a seller's licence details, address, contact numbers, physical address and website (Article 6), and the consumer protection law requires a seller registered in the UAE that sells online to give customers its name, legal status, address and licensing authority (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, Article 25). The details that let customers find you by name are details the law expects you to publish anyway.
Publish prices and terms, describe parts truthfully, and invoice every sale. A digital trader must state its prices, delivery fees and payment fees and make them public with its terms on its website or app, must not mislead or describe a product untruthfully, and must give a detailed electronic invoice for every purchase (Article 5). Under the consumer protection law that invoice must be in Arabic, and other languages may be added beside it (Article 8).
Quote consumers the price with VAT in it. The VAT law requires declared prices for taxable sales to include the tax (Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017, Article 38). A VAT-registered seller may quote a price excluding VAT only for an export or to a VAT-registered customer, such as a registered garage, and must then label it as excluding VAT (Cabinet Resolution No. 52 of 2017, Article 27). A first answer that states the price the customer will actually pay is the quicker sale, and it is the price the law expects a consumer to see.
Get permission before advertising a discount, and check that your licence covers selling online. The consumer protection regulations require a prior licence from the competent authority before announcing discounts (Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023, Article 31). The federal government portal says that selling online on the mainland needs a commercial licence that includes an eCommerce activity from your emirate's economic department. Sharjah's economic department lists trading new car parts as Cars New Spare Parts Trading, activity 4530001.
This section is a summary of the law for orientation, not legal advice; each duty can be checked in the law named beside it, on the UAE Legislation Portal, and the licence question with your emirate's economic department.
| Duty | Where it is written |
|---|---|
| Let customers see your licence details, address and contact numbers | Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, Article 6 |
| Publish prices, delivery and payment fees, and your terms | Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, Article 5 |
| Give a detailed electronic invoice for every purchase | Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, Article 5 |
| Issue the invoice in Arabic, other languages optional | Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, Article 8 |
| Do not describe or advertise goods misleadingly | Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, Article 17 |
| Quote consumer prices including VAT | Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017, Article 38 |
| Obtain a licence before announcing discounts | Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023, Article 31 |
| Hold a licence that covers selling online, as the federal portal's summary puts it | The UAE government portal's eCommerce page |
What Easy Auto does not do for your orders
Easy Auto does not send customers to your counter when they buy through us. Customers buy from Easy Auto, deal only with Easy Auto for questions, payment, delivery updates and after-sales, and do not see which supplier a part comes from. Your supplier price list is never published.
There is no paid placement in the shop today. A part on your list is offered when it matches what a customer asked for.
And nothing here is a promise of orders. The figures on this page show where demand is and how often it goes unanswered; whether a given part is ordered depends on the customer, the part and the price. What the four ways change is how many of those chances your shop is in a position to take.
Send your stock list
No account and no sign-up. A person checks the file and contacts you before anything goes live. Prefer email? Send it to hello@easyauto.ae.
Questions suppliers ask
- How can a car parts shop in the UAE get more customers?
- Stock what customers ask for, keep your details right wherever you are looked up, answer every request quickly, and put your stock in front of requests that never reach you, for example by sending your stock list to Easy Auto.
- How do I get my parts shop on Easy Auto?
- Two separate ways. Claim your shop's page in the Easy Auto directory so customers can find you by name. And send your stock list, so your parts can be offered to customers who ask us.
- How do I claim my shop's page in the Easy Auto directory?
- On the claim page, search for your business and claim the listing to manage its profile, photos and contact details. If it is not listed yet, it can be added as a new listing from the same page.
- Is claiming my shop's directory page the same as sending stock?
- No. The directory page helps customers find your shop by name; the stock list puts your parts in front of customers who ask Easy Auto. You can do either or both.
- Which parts are most in demand in the UAE?
- On Easy Auto's WhatsApp, electrical parts, body panels, engine parts, lighting and cooling lead. The full breakdown by make, emirate and condition is on our page about what UAE customers ask for.
- Which car makes should a UAE parts shop stock for?
- In Easy Auto's requests of 20 July to 1 November 2026, Toyota and Nissan lead, then Hyundai, Ford, Honda and Mitsubishi. Within each make the parts differ: brake leads for Toyota, engine for Nissan, sensor for Hyundai.
- Does answering faster really matter?
- Yes. Customers often ask several shops at once. Half of the supplier answers in our data arrived within 9 minutes, and a request that waits can easily be lost.
- What time of day do parts suppliers answer fastest?
- In the evening, when they answer at all. Asks sent between 18:00 and 23:00 were answered with a median wait of 2.7 minutes, but only 39% were answered, against 47% in the morning.
- Do parts shops answer requests on Fridays?
- Less often. 14 of 39 Friday asks from our sourcing desk were answered, 36%, against 46% on other days, 7 October to 2 November 2026.
- Why do parts shops lose orders without knowing it?
- Because a customer who gets no answer often buys elsewhere. 55% of our 488 asks to suppliers were never answered, and a supplier who did not answer never learns what the request was worth.
- Can I quote a customer a price without VAT?
- Not to a consumer, if you are VAT registered: declared prices for taxable sales must include VAT. A VAT-registered seller may quote excluding VAT only for exports or to a VAT-registered customer, and must label the price as excluding VAT. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice.
- Does my shop need a licence to sell car parts online?
- The UAE government portal says selling online on the mainland needs a commercial licence that includes an eCommerce activity from your emirate's economic department. Check the exact activity with that department. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice.
- Will listing my stock with Easy Auto mean more messages?
- No. Parts on a priced list are offered and priced without messaging you, and you hear from us when one has been ordered. A list without prices is kept as ask-first, so we ask you first.
- Can I pay to have my parts shown first?
- There is no paid placement in the shop today. A part on your list is offered when it matches what a customer asked for.
- Will customers know my shop supplied their part?
- No. Customers buy from Easy Auto and do not see which supplier a part comes from. If you want customers to find your shop by name, claim its page in the directory.
- Do people actually look at shop pages in the directory?
- Yes. The directory's 5,076 business pages were viewed 9,432 times in the 28 days to 3 September 2026.
