How to sell car parts online without a website
Updated
The quick answer
Yes, you can sell car parts online in the UAE without a website or an online shop of your own. Send your stock list to Easy Auto as a CSV, Excel file, PDF or photo. Your parts then sit in the stock our website and WhatsApp desk sell from, so every customer who asks us for a part you hold can be offered it, and when one orders, we order it from you. There is no site to build, no catalogue to photograph and no account to open. 7 of the 18 suppliers we work with send us a file this way. What you keep doing is the part only you can do: keeping the list current, and having the part ready when we order it.
Key facts
- No website, online shop, marketplace account or software is needed. The file you already keep is enough.
- Your parts are offered to the customers who ask Easy Auto: 1,667 part requests between 20 July and 2 November 2026.
- 7 of our 18 active suppliers send stock files, holding 91,328 current lines across 292 brands (3 November 2026). The other 11 answer part-by-part messages.
- A list does the work of a catalogue without the pages: 66,479 of those 91,328 lines carry a genuine (OE) number, so a part can be offered to a customer whose car calls for that number.
- Customers never see your price list or your shop's name in the shop. They buy from Easy Auto, and we order from you.
- Your shop can also have its own page in the Easy Auto directory, one of 5,076 shop listing pages counted on 3 September 2026; claiming it is separate from sending stock.

Selling online without a website, in one paragraph
Selling online without a website means your stock is found, priced and sold to customers online while the only thing you maintain is the stock list you already have. Easy Auto takes the customer's request on its website or its WhatsApp, works out the exact part, searches the lists suppliers send it, and buys the part from the supplier who holds it once the customer has ordered. For you, the list is the catalogue; the online shop, its visitors and its customers are someone else's job.
What a parts website actually takes
A website that sells car parts is a bigger job than many shop owners expect. Each part needs its own page, with a number, a brand, a price, stock and, hardest of all, the cars it fits. Payment needs a card processor, delivery needs a courier across the emirates, and someone has to answer the customer who is not sure the part fits. Then every price and stock change has to reach the site, every day, or it sells what you no longer have.
And a new site has no visitors. Being found on Google for car parts takes months of content and links, which is the work Easy Auto already does across its own pages.
Broken down, a parts website is eight jobs, and only the first is done once. The rest repeat with every new line, every order or every day. The first table sets them out; the second puts the same needs beside what a stock list sent to Easy Auto asks instead.
| Job | What it involves | How often |
|---|---|---|
| The site itself | A domain, a shop platform, and someone to keep both working | Set up once, then looked after for as long as the site runs |
| Catalogue pages | One page per part, with its number, brand, description and photos | Every new line, and every line that changes |
| Fitment | The cars each part fits, by model, year and engine | Every new line, and every time a customer finds an error |
| Card payments | A payment provider, refunds, and matching the money to orders | Every order |
| Delivery | A courier arrangement that reaches every emirate, with its labels and tracking | Every order |
| Returns | A written policy, and someone who can judge whether a part fits | Every return |
| Visitors | Search work, advertising, or both | Every week, from launch onwards |
| Stock and prices | Carrying every counter sale and price change to the site | Every day |
A website, compared with a stock list sent to Easy Auto
Set side by side, the difference is where the work sits. On a website, each need on the left is a job you carry for as long as the site exists. With a stock list, most of them are carried by Easy Auto, and the rest are agreed with you once, before your first order, rather than repeated on every sale.
| What it needs | Your own website | A stock list with Easy Auto |
|---|---|---|
| A page for every part | Yes, written and kept up to date by you | No: one file |
| The cars each part fits | Yes, or customers order the wrong part | No: we identify the part for the customer |
| Card payments | Your own processor and its fees | No: the customer pays Easy Auto |
| Delivery across the UAE | Your own courier account | Agreed with you: you deliver or we collect |
| Answering customers | You, every day | No: Easy Auto does it |
| Bringing visitors | Your own search and ads work | No: customers come to Easy Auto |
| Keeping stock and prices current | Every change on the site | Send a new file |
The catalogue a website would need
Count the pages before you count the cost. The 7 suppliers who send Easy Auto stock files hold between 171 and 29,672 lines each, 91,328 lines in all across 292 brands (3 November 2026). On a website, each of those lines is a page to write, photograph, link to the cars it fits and keep priced. On a stock list, each one is a single row in a file the shop already keeps.
A row carries more than it looks. 66,479 of the current lines carry a genuine (OE) number beside the supplier's own number, which is what lets an aftermarket part be offered when a customer's car calls for that genuine number; the other 24,849 are matched on their own part number. 85,382 lines carry a price and load as priced stock. A website has to spell all of that out as text on every page. A list carries it in columns, and the matching is done on our side.
Lines in each supplier's stock file
| Supplier file 1 | 29,672 |
|---|---|
| Supplier file 2 | 25,653 |
| Supplier file 3 | 18,903 |
| Supplier file 4 | 5,861 |
| Supplier file 5 | 5,775 |
| Supplier file 6 | 5,293 |
| Supplier file 7 | 171 |
How a stock list becomes your online catalogue
When your file arrives, a person maps your columns to ours: which one is the part number, which the brand, the quantity and your price. That mapping is saved, so every file you send after it loads the same way. Your lines then join the stock we search for every customer request, by your part number and by any genuine numbers your list cross-references.
Step by step, it runs like this. First, you send the file through the upload form or by email to hello@easyauto.ae; a CSV is read in your browser and shows roughly how many lines and which column names it found before you press Send. Second, a person checks the file and contacts you, and nothing goes live before that conversation. Third, your columns are mapped once to ours, as far as your file has them: part number, brand, description, genuine number, quantity, warehouse or stock code, price, discount, currency, condition and lead time. Fourth, brand spellings are cleaned to our brand names and remembered, and each warehouse or stock code becomes a location with its own readiness time. Fifth, any line that cannot be sold as it stands is set aside, not deleted.
The loading is careful rather than quick and loose. Across 17 stock file loads between 14 September 2026 and 29 October 2026, 60 of the 172,634 rows read were set aside. A later file with an extra column loads as before. If a later file renames or removes a column that the mapping reads, the load stops instead of guessing and the file is re-mapped with you; until then, the stock from your last good file stays live.
In effect, your list is your online catalogue. It is searched on every request, it is priced from your own prices, and it is kept current by the files you send. You never write a product page, and no customer has to find your listing by luck: they ask us for a part, and if it is on your list and current, it can be offered.
How our active suppliers send us stock
- Send a stock file: 7 (39%)
- Answer part-by-part messages: 11 (61%)
What a list line says instead of a product page
A product page answers the customer's questions in words and pictures. A stock list line answers the same questions in columns, and Easy Auto fills the gaps a page would have filled. The table matches them up, so you can see what your file needs to carry and what it does not.
The four columns a line needs to load as priced stock are the part number, the brand, the quantity and the price. Everything else helps, and nothing else is required.
| On a product page you write | On a stock list line | Who fills the rest |
|---|---|---|
| A title and a description | A description column, if you have one | Not needed to sell: parts are matched by number |
| Photos of the part | Nothing | Customers send photos of their old part or its label, and we identify it |
| The cars it fits | The genuine (OE) number it cross-references | Easy Auto, from the car, the VIN and catalogue data |
| The price | Your price, its currency, and whether it includes VAT | Easy Auto sets the customer's price from yours |
| In stock or not | The quantity: pieces, sets, or In and Out | A line missing from your next file is marked unavailable |
| Delivery time | A warehouse or stock code, each with its own readiness time | Agreed with you before the first order |
| Brand and grade | The brand column; a spelling that says genuine keeps the genuine flag | Brand spellings are cleaned once and remembered |
What you still do
Two things. Keep the list current, by sending a new file whenever your stock changes; a list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days without a new copy. And when we order a part from you, confirm it and have it ready for collection or delivery as agreed. That is the whole of the work.
You do not answer the customer, take the payment, or handle the follow-up. If something goes wrong with an order, you hear about it from us, not from a stranger.
Around those two jobs sit a few that happen once, or only when something changes. The terms are agreed before the first order and recorded on our side: how orders reach you, collection or delivery, any minimum order, the price basis, invoicing, payment and returns. The column mapping is redone only if a column it reads is renamed or removed. The table shows the rhythm.
| Job | How often | How |
|---|---|---|
| Send a fresh stock file | Whenever stock changes; a hand-sent list goes stale after 30 days, a daily automatic file after 3 days | The upload form, or email to hello@easyauto.ae |
| Confirm an order | Each time we order a part from you | By the route agreed: WhatsApp, phone or email |
| Have the part ready | Each order | For collection, or by your own drivers, as agreed |
| Invoice | Per order or by statement, as agreed | As recorded for your account |
| Agree the terms | Once, before the first order | A conversation with a person on our side |
| Re-map the file | Only when a mapped column is renamed or removed | With a person on our side, once per new layout |
If all you have is a paper list
Some shops keep stock in a notebook or a printed list rather than a system. That works too. Take a clear photo of each page, flat and in good light, and send the photos through the upload form or by email. A person reads them and handles them from there. A spreadsheet is faster to load and easier to update, so the free CSV template on this page is worth using for the next update.
The upload form takes photos as JPG, PNG or WEBP, and PDFs, in files up to 4 MB; a bigger file can go as a download link or by email. Fit the whole page in the frame and check that the part numbers can be read before you send it. A part number is what customers are matched on, and a line whose number cannot be read is set aside rather than guessed.
If your list has no prices
A list without prices is still worth sending. It is kept as ask-first: when a customer wants a part on it, we ask that supplier first. 5,775 of the current lines are held this way (3 November 2026).
Ask-first sits between being messaged at random and having priced stock online. You still answer a message, but only about parts you have told us you hold, and the customer's request comes to you before anyone else is asked. Add prices to a later file and those lines load as priced stock, offered without a message to you at all.
Your shop's own page, separately
Selling stock through Easy Auto does not put your shop's name in front of customers, because they buy from us. If you want customers to find your shop by name, that is the Easy Auto directory: 5,076 shop pages, which can carry an address, hours, photos and contact details. Claiming your shop's page there is separate from sending stock, and you can do one without the other.
The directory is where people look a shop up. In the 28 days to 3 September 2026, its shop listing pages were viewed 9,432 times. Claiming your page lets you correct its details and say what you sell; it is a page of your own that asks nothing of you per sale.
| Question | Your directory page | Your stock list with Easy Auto |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A page about your shop in the Easy Auto directory | Your parts, in the stock Easy Auto sells from |
| Does it show your shop's name? | Yes | No: customers buy from Easy Auto |
| What do customers see? | Your address, hours, photos and contact details | Easy Auto's price for the part they asked for |
| What do you do? | Claim it and keep the details right | Send the file and keep it current |
| Can you have one without the other? | Yes | Yes |
A website, a marketplace shop and a list compared
A general marketplace is the other common way to sell online without building a site of your own, so it belongs in the comparison. It removes the site and the visitors from your list of jobs, and keeps the pages, the fitment details and the platform's terms on it. Every marketplace publishes and changes its own seller terms, so they are not quoted here.
| What it asks of you | Your own website | A marketplace shop | A stock list with Easy Auto |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setting up | Domain, platform, design, payment and delivery | A seller account and the marketplace's listing format | One file and one conversation |
| A page per part | Yes, written by you | Yes, in the marketplace's format | No: one row per part in your file |
| Which cars a part fits | Written by you for every part | Supplied by you in their format | Identified by Easy Auto; your genuine cross-references help |
| Photos | For every part | For every part | None |
| Taking payment | Your own payment provider | The marketplace's checkout | Easy Auto: the customer pays us |
| Customer questions and returns | You | You, under the marketplace's rules | Easy Auto with the customer; returns terms agreed with you first |
| Bringing visitors | Your own search and advertising work | The marketplace's visitors | Easy Auto's customers |
| Your name in front of customers | Yes | Yes, inside the marketplace | No: your directory page does that separately |
| Keeping stock current | Every change on the site | Every change in your listings | A new file whenever stock changes |
When a website is still worth building
A stock list is not the answer to everything, and it is fair to say where it stops. It does not put your name in front of customers. It does not let you set the price the customer pays, because that price is set by our pricing rules from yours. And it sells only the parts customers ask Easy Auto for.
If you want customers who come back to your shop by name, at your own prices, a website of your own is how you own that. It is worth building when you have a specialism people search for, a catalogue already kept in a stock system, and someone whose job is the site. A shop can do both: a site for its own name, and a list with Easy Auto for the requests the site never sees.
Signs your list is not working as a catalogue, and the fixes
A list-based catalogue fails in a handful of predictable ways, and each has a plain fix. None of them needs software; most need only a corrected file.
| Sign | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A new file does not load | A column the mapping reads was renamed or removed since the first mapping | Re-map it with us once; your last good file stays live meanwhile |
| Some lines were set aside | No part number, an unreadable number, no brand, no price, an unknown warehouse code, a duplicate, or not new | Correct those lines in the next file; the rest of the file loaded |
| Your prices show as stale | No new hand-sent list in 30 days, or no automatic file in 3 days | Send a fresh file |
| A part you hold shows as unavailable | It was missing from your latest file | Put it back in the next file; it returns when it reappears |
| A brand appears under an odd name | An unusual spelling in your brand column | Tell us once; the cleaned spelling is remembered |
| You are messaged about a part you thought was listed | It is not on your list, or its number could not be read | Add it to the next file with a clear part number |
What the law asks of a parts website, and what applies however you sell
A website of your own brings legal work as well as the eight jobs above. Under the e-commerce law, Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, a business selling goods through its own website is a digital trader. It must hold the approvals, permits and licences required for online trading; publish its prices, its delivery and payment charges, and its terms on the site; give a detailed electronic invoice for every purchase; and let customers see its licence details, address and contact numbers. The consumer protection regulations, Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023, add that an online seller must show each product's producer and importer, its country of origin in the form "Made in", and its return and exchange terms, and must hold the documents proving its goods meet the applicable standards and place the conformity mark on the web page. TDRA's no-objection certificate for trading through a website requires a .ae domain, and the UAE government portal's summary says that selling online on the mainland needs a licence that includes an eCommerce activity.
Other duties come with the parts, however you sell them. Under Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, the UAE Scheme for Automotive Spare Parts, importers, agents, storing bodies and main or sub-distributors all count as suppliers, and a supplier must obtain a conformity certificate before offering any part type on the scheme's schedule; offering includes selling, storing, marketing and promoting. The schedule's entries include braking systems, brake pads, engine radiators, safety belts, rear-view mirrors, lead-acid starter batteries, oil filters, air filters, laminated safety glass, rims, and door locks and hinges. A part counts as conforming if it carries the Emirates Quality Mark or another recognised conformity mark, or, for genuine parts, if the manufacturer supplies a test report and declaration of conformity. The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) issues the UAE conformity certificates.
Under the commercial fraud law, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023, it is illegal to import, display, sell, store, transport, market, promote or hold for sale counterfeit goods, meaning goods that carry, without permission, a trademark identical or similar to a registered one. Describing goods with false or misleading information is an offence under the same law, and a seller is not excused because the buyer knew the goods were counterfeit. Knowingly selling, offering or holding for sale goods with a counterfeit or imitated trademark is also a crime under the trademark law, Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021.
When you sell to a buyer yourself, at the counter or online, the consumer protection law, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, requires a detailed invoice in Arabic with your trade name and address, the goods, the price and the quantity. A VAT-registered business must also issue an original tax invoice for every taxable sale it makes, under Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017. On a stock list, the brand column and the genuine flag are your description of each part, so keep them accurate. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice: check Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023 and the other laws named here on the UAE Legislation Portal, read on 4 November 2026.

Questions suppliers ask
- Can I really sell car parts online without a website?
- Yes. Send Easy Auto your stock list. Your parts can be offered to customers who ask us for them, and we order from you when one is bought.
- Do I need an online shop account or an app?
- No. There is no account to open and nothing to install. You send a file, and a person contacts you after checking it.
- Will customers see my shop's name?
- Not in the shop: customers buy from Easy Auto and do not see which supplier a part comes from. Your shop can have its own directory page, which is separate.
- What if my stock list is on paper?
- Send clear photos of each page. A person handles it from there. For later updates, the free CSV template is quicker for both of us.
- How do customers find my parts if I have no website?
- They ask Easy Auto, on the website or on WhatsApp. We identify the part they need and search every stock list we hold, including yours.
- Who answers the customer's questions?
- Easy Auto does, from the first message to after the sale. You hear from us when a part on your list has been ordered.
- What happens when a part on my list sells at my counter?
- Send a new file. A part missing from it is marked unavailable, not deleted, and comes back when it reappears in a later file. If you prefer, a missing part is kept for three days before it is marked unavailable.
- Do I need photos of my parts?
- No. Customers are matched to your parts by part number, not by a picture. It is the customer who sends a photo, of their old part or its label, and we use it to identify the number.
- Can I send a list without prices?
- Yes. It is kept as ask-first: when a customer wants a part on it, we ask you first. Lines that carry a price are offered without a message to you.
- Will my price list be published anywhere?
- No. Supplier price lists are never published. Customers see Easy Auto's price, set by our pricing rules from yours, and your price is what Easy Auto pays when it orders.
- What if my columns change between files?
- An added column changes nothing: the file loads as before. If a column the mapping reads is renamed or removed, the load stops rather than guessing, the stock from your last good file stays live, and the file is re-mapped with you. After that, files in the new layout load the same way.
- How small a list is worth sending?
- Any list of new parts you hold. The smallest supplier file Easy Auto loads today has 171 lines, and the largest has 29,672.
- Is a website ever worth building as well?
- Yes, if you want customers who come back to your shop by name at your own prices, and someone can run the site. A list with Easy Auto can run beside it, covering the requests the site never sees.
- Can I keep selling from my counter and my own WhatsApp?
- Yes. Sending a list changes nothing about your counter or your own number. Keep the list current, so that parts sold elsewhere stop being offered.
- Do the parts on my list need a conformity certificate?
- Part types on the schedule of Cabinet Resolution No. 12 of 2018, such as brake pads, engine radiators, rear-view mirrors, lead-acid starter batteries and oil and air filters, need a conformity certificate before a supplier offers them, and offering includes storing and selling. MoIAT issues the certificates. This is a summary for orientation, not legal advice.
