For parts suppliers
Stock list format: what file to send Easy Auto
Updated
The quick answer
Any spreadsheet you already keep will do. For each part we need four things: the part number, the brand, the quantity and your price. Column names and their order do not matter, because a person maps your columns to ours the first time and the same mapping reads every file after that. CSV and Excel (XLSX) files load fastest; a PDF or a photo of a printed list is accepted and handled by a person. The rules are strict where they protect a customer and loose everywhere else: between 14 September 2026 and 29 October 2026, 17 loads of supplier files read 172,634 rows and set aside only 60. A free CSV template with the columns already named is linked at the top of this page.
Key facts
- Four columns are required for a line to load as priced stock: part number, brand, quantity and your price.
- Optional columns we read: genuine or cross-reference numbers, description, warehouse or stock code, discount, currency and condition.
- Prices can be in UAE dirhams, US dollars or euros. Say whether they include VAT, and give your tax registration number if you are VAT registered.
- Quantities can be pieces, sets, or simply In and Out.
- Part numbers are matched with and without spaces, dashes, dots and slashes, so 04152-YZZA1 and 04152YZZA1 are the same number.
- A row that cannot be sold safely is set aside, never guessed: 60 of 172,634 rows read between 14 September 2026 and 29 October 2026.
- A list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days without a new copy; a file that arrives automatically every day, after 3. Stale prices are not sold online until a fresh file arrives.

What a stock list is, and what it does for you
A stock list is a table with one row per part you hold and want to sell: the number on the part, who made it, how many you have and what you want for it. It is the file your stock system already prints for a stocktake, the sheet your counter staff check before they answer the phone, or the price list you send to garages. Easy Auto reads it so that when a customer asks for a part you hold, the answer comes from your list instead of from a message to you.
Every line we hold today arrived this way. As of 3 November 2026, 7 of the 18 suppliers we work with send a stock file, and together those files hold 91,328 current lines across 292 brands. The other 11 suppliers answer part-by-part messages instead, which means somebody on their side has to read and reply every time a customer wants something. A list is how you stop being asked.
From your file to live stock, step by step
First, you send the file through the upload form or by email to hello@easyauto.ae, with your business name and a WhatsApp number or an email; one is enough. If the file is a CSV, the form reads it in your browser and shows roughly how many lines it found and the names in your header row before you press Send.
Second, a person opens the file and checks it is what it looks like: a stock list, readable, with part numbers in it. Third, that person contacts you. Nothing goes live until that conversation has happened, because it is where we agree how orders reach you, collection or delivery, and how you are paid.
Fourth, your columns are mapped to ours. Your Item Code becomes our part number, your Make becomes our brand, each of your warehouse codes becomes a location with its own readiness time, and each brand spelling you use is matched to our brand list once. The mapping is saved.
Fifth, the file loads. Every row is read through the mapping; a row that cannot be sold safely is set aside with its reason recorded, rather than loaded wrongly. 17 loads between 14 September 2026 and 29 October 2026 read 172,634 rows and set aside 60. Rows are counted each time a file loads, so a list sent twice is counted twice.
Sixth, and from then on, every new file in the same layout loads through the saved mapping. A person is needed again only when something new appears: a stock code or a brand spelling we have not met, or a column we read that has been renamed or removed. In that last case the load stops instead of guessing, and the mapping is updated with you.
What happens to a stock file
- 1You send itupload form, email, or a link for big files
- 2A person checks itreadable, part numbers present
- 3We talk to youorders, delivery and payment agreed first
- 4Columns are mappedonce, then saved for your layout
- 5Rows loador are set aside with a reason
- 6New files repeat step 5through the saved mapping
The four columns every line needs
A line loads into our stock when it has a part number, a brand, a quantity and a price. Everything else is useful but optional. The names in your file can be anything: Item Code, Part No, Ref and Article all work, because the first time we see your file a person points each of your columns at ours, and that mapping is saved for every file you send afterwards.
The part number is the one that matters most. It is how a customer's request finds your line, and it is the column we check hardest. Brand matters next, because the same number can be sold as a genuine part and as an aftermarket part, and those are different offers at different prices. If every line in your list is one brand, you can leave the brand column out and say so in the note.
Your column names, our columns
- Item CodeβPart number
- MakeβBrand
- StockβQuantity
- Trade PriceβYour price
- OE RefβGenuine number
- LocationβWarehouse
| Our column | What it is | Example | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Part number | The maker's number for the part, as printed on the part or its box | 04152-YZZA1 | It is how a customer's request finds your line |
| Brand | Who made the part | Toyota, Mann, Denso | A genuine part and an aftermarket part can share a number |
| Quantity | How many you have to sell | 12, or In and Out | We offer only what your list says you have |
| Your price | What we pay you for one, before or after VAT as you tell us | 38.50 | Our selling price is set from it |
The optional columns, one by one
The optional columns change what we can do with your list. A genuine-number column is the most valuable of them: we turn a customer's request into the number on the original part before we search, and if your list says your aftermarket part replaces that number, we can offer yours. A cell can hold several numbers; we read the common shorthand where 31410-12300/2 also means 31410-12302.
A warehouse or stock code column tells us where each line is and how quickly it can be ready. Each code you use becomes one of your locations on our side, so a line held in your main store and a line that takes three days from a second warehouse are offered with different readiness times.
None of these columns has to be complete. A genuine-number column filled on half your lines is still worth sending: the half that carry one can be found by more requests, and the other half load exactly as they would have without it.
| Our column | What to put in it | Example | Without it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Genuine or cross-reference number | The carmaker's number your part replaces; several are fine in one cell | 04152-YZZA1 | Only a request for your own number finds the line |
| Description | What the part is, with its position on the car | Brake pad set, front | A person has less to check an odd number against |
| Warehouse or stock code | The code or name of the store that holds the line | MAIN, JA2, Sharjah | Every line is placed at your one location |
| Discount | Your trade discount off the price in the price column | 20, 20% or 0.2 | The price column is read as the price we pay |
| Currency | AED, USD or EUR, per line | USD | The whole list is read in the currency you tell us |
| Condition | New, if you keep the column at all | New | Lines are read as new; used stock must be left out |
What the lists we hold today carry
The 91,328 current lines we hold show what a working stock list looks like in practice. 85,382 of them carry a price (93%). 66,479 carry at least one genuine cross-reference number (73%), which is what lets a request for a carmaker's number find an aftermarket or OE-brand part. 5,775 are held as ask-first, a list sent without prices. The lines sit in 10 locations, each with its own readiness time.
The lesson for a new list is that perfection is not required. Lines without cross-references load, and are found when a request names their own number; a list without prices still earns a place among the suppliers we ask first. What every line does need is the four required columns, written so they read.
What the current stock lines carry
| All current lines | 91,328 |
|---|---|
| With a price | 85,382 |
| With a genuine cross-reference | 66,479 |
| Held as ask-first, no price | 5,775 |
How to write each cell so it reads
Most of what goes wrong in a stock list goes wrong inside a cell, not in the choice of columns. The reader is forgiving about separators, letter case and stray spaces, and strict about anything that would put a wrong number or a wrong price in front of a customer. The table sets out, column by column, what reads cleanly and what gets a row set aside.
Two habits cause most trouble. The first is putting a note in a number column: a price cell that says call, or a quantity cell that says plenty, does not read, and the row is set aside rather than guessed. Keep notes in a column of their own. The second is a spreadsheet changing your part numbers as you type them, which the page on part numbers covers in detail; the short fix is to set the part-number column to Text before you paste anything into it.
| Column | Reads cleanly | Set aside or misread |
|---|---|---|
| Part number | 04152-YZZA1, 04152 YZZA1, 04152yzza1: all the same number | Fewer than three letters or digits; a description in the cell; a number that lost its leading zero |
| Brand | Any spelling, such as TOY GEN or Toyota Genuine, matched once and remembered | An empty cell, unless the whole list is one brand and your note says which |
| Genuine number | One number, several separated by a slash, comma, semicolon or bar, or the 31410-12300/2 shorthand | A fragment of fewer than six letters and digits standing on its own is ignored |
| Quantity | 12 or 1,200; a band such as >20 or 20+ read as 20; In, Out, Yes or No in a column mapped as In and Out | Words such as plenty or call; In or Yes in a column counted in pieces |
| Price | 38.50; 1,050.00; 1.050,00 in a comma-decimal file; AED 38.50; 38.50 DHS | Empty, zero, or text such as on request |
| Currency | AED, USD or EUR; DH and DHS read as AED | Any other currency, such as SAR or GBP |
| Discount | 20, 20% and 0.2 all read as 20% | Text, or a figure of 100 or more |
| Condition | New, N, or the cell left empty | Anything else, including Used, Refurbished, and grade words such as OEM or Genuine |
| Warehouse | Any code, once we know what it means | A code we have not mapped yet |
File types compared
Upload the file on the form, email it to hello@easyauto.ae, or paste a link if it is over 4 MB. A CSV is read in your browser as you upload it, so before you press Send you see roughly how many lines we found and the column names in your header row. If those look wrong, the file probably has a title row or a merged header, and it is worth fixing before you send.
On our side, a CSV or text file is read whether it uses commas, semicolons, tabs or a vertical bar between columns, and whether it was saved as UTF-8 or as Arabic or Western Windows text. If your program offers UTF-8 when it saves a CSV, choose it: it is the safest choice for a list that mixes Arabic and English. A file whose contents do not match its name, such as a program renamed to end in .csv, is refused by the form. An Excel workbook is read sheet by sheet; keep the list on one sheet, one row per part, because a workbook that keeps prices on one sheet and stock on another cannot be read by a single mapping as it stands.
| Format | Good for | Drawbacks | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| CSV, TSV or TXT | Any size of list; the simplest format to export | Opening and re-saving it in a spreadsheet can strip leading zeros | Read on the page as you upload; line count and columns shown before Send |
| Excel workbook (XLSX) | Lists you keep and edit by hand | Several sheets, merged headers and totals rows need tidying | Read on our side; we find the header row and the number style |
| Older Excel workbook (XLS) | Old systems that save nothing newer | An older format: if your program can save XLSX or CSV, use that | Accepted by the form |
| PDF price list | A list your system only prints | Cannot be mapped as a table; slower to load | A person reads it and handles it |
| Photo of a printed list | A short counter list on paper | Slowest; numbers must be sharp enough to read | A person reads it; take it flat, in good light, one page per photo |
| Download link (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer) | Any file over 4 MB | The link must open without a sign-in | For any file over 4 MB |
| Excel with macros (XLSM, XLSB) | Your own reports, not for sending | Refused by the form | Not accepted; save it as a plain XLSX or CSV |
Getting the file out of wherever your list lives
If your list is a spreadsheet you keep by hand, send the spreadsheet. Before you do, delete any totals row at the bottom, unmerge any merged cells in the header, and make sure the part-number column is formatted as Text. If you keep several sheets for different brands or stores, copy them onto one sheet first, with a column saying which brand or store each row belongs to: a mapping reads one table.
If your list lives in a stock or accounting program, look for the export of the item list or the stock report, and choose CSV or XLSX when it asks. Send that export as it comes out, without editing it. The value of an export is that it comes out the same way every time, so the mapping we save for it keeps working; a file you have tidied by hand once is a file you will have to tidy the same way every time.
If your list is on paper, you have two choices. Photograph each page flat, in daylight, with the whole page in the frame, and send the photos; a person handles them. Or type the list into the CSV template linked on this page, which takes longer once but makes every later update a matter of editing a few cells. Either way, write the part number exactly as it appears on the box.
If the list you hold is a price file from your own supplier, check that its quantities are yours. A distributor's price list tells us what they sell, not what is on your shelf, and offering stock you do not hold is the fastest way to let a customer down.
Quantities: pieces, sets, In and Out, and minimum orders
Many trade lists do not count pieces. Some count sets, such as a pair of brake discs or a box of four spark plugs, and some only say whether the part is in stock. All three work. When we map your file we record which one your quantity column means, so a quantity of 2 in a list counted in sets is offered as two sets, and a list that only says In and Out is offered as available or not.
If you sell only in boxes or above a minimum quantity, say so in the note: minimums are agreed as part of your terms before the first order. If your stock is split across stores and your system prints one quantity column per store, that works too: each column is assigned to its store once, and a row is offered from every store that holds some.
| Your column means | What reads as in stock | Example cell | How it is offered |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pieces on the shelf | Any whole number above 0 | 12 | Up to 12 pieces |
| Sets, a pair or a box counting as one | Any whole number above 0 | 2 | Up to 2 sets |
| In or Out only | In, Yes, Y, Available, True, 1, or any number above 0 | In | Available, with no count shown |
Prices, currencies and discounts
Your price is what Easy Auto pays you for one unit when we order it. Customers never see it: they see Easy Auto's price, which our pricing rules set from yours, and they pay Easy Auto. Customers do not see which supplier a part comes from, and supplier price lists are never published.
Prices can be in UAE dirhams, US dollars or euros, per line in a currency column or for the whole list. When a line is priced in dollars or euros, the exchange rate used is recorded with that line, so the price can always be traced back to the figure in your file. A trade discount can come from a discount column, read line by line, or be applied as one fixed rate to the whole list.
Tell us once whether your prices include VAT, and give your tax registration number if you are VAT registered. That is recorded with your mapping rather than written on every line, so your file does not need a VAT column. Use one decimal style throughout the file: a dot for decimals with commas for thousands, or a comma for decimals with dots for thousands. The reader works out which style a file uses from its number cells, and a file that mixes the two is the one place it can be wrong.
Warehouses, stock codes and readiness
A stock code in your file is treated as a place. The first time we map your list, you tell us what each code means: the main store, a second warehouse, stock held at a branch in another emirate, stock on order. Each one becomes a location on our side with its own readiness time, and every line coded to it is offered with that time, so what a customer is told matches where the part really is.
If you have only one store, you need no warehouse column at all; every line is placed there. If you add a store later and start using a new code, lines with that code are set aside until you tell us what it means, because offering them with the wrong readiness time would make a promise to a customer that neither of us chose.
Rows set aside: the reasons and the fixes
When we load your file, a line that cannot be sold safely is set aside rather than loaded wrongly. It is not deleted, and the reason is recorded with it, so the cell can be fixed in your next file. Across 17 loads between 14 September 2026 and 29 October 2026, 60 rows of 172,634 were set aside: a handful in a big file is normal. A whole column set aside usually means the mapping needs a second look.
A line set aside is never a judgement about the part. It means one cell did not say clearly enough what the part is, who made it, what it costs or where it is, and the fix is almost always to that one cell.
| Reason | What triggers it | The fix |
|---|---|---|
| No part number | The part-number cell is empty | Fill it, or leave the line out |
| Part number unreadable | Fewer than three letters or digits once spaces, dashes and other marks are removed | Keep notes in a separate column |
| No brand | The brand cell is empty and no one brand was given for the list | Add a brand column, or tell us the brand if the whole list is one brand |
| No price | The price is empty or zero, or a price, currency, discount or quantity cell does not read | Fill it with a number; or send the list as ask-first, without prices |
| A code we do not know | A warehouse code we have not mapped yet | Tell us what the new code means |
| Duplicates | The same brand and part number appear twice at the same location; the first row loads | Keep one line per part per location, or add up the quantities |
| Not new | The condition cell says anything other than new | Leave used lines out: we list new parts only |
Keeping the list current
Send a new file whenever your stock changes, as often as every day. The saved mapping reads it the same way. Send the whole list each time, not only the lines that changed: a part missing from a new file is marked unavailable, so a file holding only today's changes would mark everything else unavailable. Marked unavailable is not deleted, and a part comes back the day it reappears in a file. If you prefer, we can keep a missing part for three days before marking it unavailable, which suits lists that are exported before the day's deliveries arrive.
If a column we read is renamed or removed, the load stops instead of guessing, and the stock from your last good file stays live until we map the new layout with you. Adding a new column does not stop anything; tell us if you want it read.
Old prices are the one thing we will not sell on. A list sent by hand goes stale after 30 days without a new copy, and a file that arrives automatically every day goes stale after 3 days without a new one. Stale prices are shown as stale and are not sold online until a fresh file loads.
| How your file arrives | Goes stale after | What stale means | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Every day, automatically | 3 days without a new file | Prices shown as stale; not sold online | Check the daily export is still running |
| Sent by hand when prices change | 30 days without a new file | Prices shown as stale; not sold online | Send the current list, even if little has changed |
| A part missing from the newest file | At once, or after 3 days if you prefer | Marked unavailable, never deleted | Nothing: it returns when it reappears |
| A renamed or removed column | The load stops | Your last good file stays live | We re-map the layout with you |
A list without prices
If you would rather not send prices, send the list anyway. It is not loaded as priced stock, but it tells us what you hold, and when a customer wants one of those parts you are the supplier we ask first, with the part number already matched. One of the suppliers we work with sends its list exactly this way: as of 3 November 2026, 5,775 lines are held as ask-first.
An ask-first list follows the same column rules as a priced one, minus the price: part number, brand and quantity still matter, and a genuine-number column still widens what it can be found by. The difference is speed. A priced line can be quoted as soon as a request matches it; an ask-first line waits for your answer, so the customer waits too.
Preparing the file: a checklist
A few minutes with the file before you send it saves a round of questions afterwards. The steps below are in the order that catches the most problems soonest.
| Step | What to do | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Put the whole list on one sheet, one row per part | A mapping reads one table |
| 2 | Make the first row the column names, with no merged cells | The header is how your columns are mapped |
| 3 | Set the part-number column to Text before pasting or typing | Spreadsheets drop leading zeros and rewrite long numbers |
| 4 | Check a known part number reads exactly as on its box | It proves step 3 worked |
| 5 | Fill the brand on every row, or note the one brand | A line with no brand is set aside |
| 6 | Make every price a number, in one decimal style | Text in a price cell sets the row aside |
| 7 | Delete totals, subtotals and notes rows | They are read as rows and set aside |
| 8 | Remove used, refurbished and rebuilt lines | Stock lists are for new parts |
| 9 | Add genuine numbers where you have them | They let requests for the carmaker's number find you |
| 10 | Write a note: currency, VAT basis, what quantity means, your codes | It answers the questions a person would otherwise ask |
Problems you can spot yourself: sign, cause, fix
Some problems show up before you send, in the preview the form gives for a CSV; others show up only after a load. Either way, the sign usually points straight at the cause.
| Sign | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The preview shows your shop's name as a column name | A title row sits above the header | Delete the title row, or leave it: our side finds the header below it |
| The preview shows one long column name | The file was saved with an unusual separator or as a single text block | Save again as CSV, or send the Excel file |
| The line count is far below what you expected | The export was run for one brand, one store or one page of results | Run the export again for the full list |
| Arabic text shows as question marks or symbols | The file was saved in an encoding other than the one it was written in | Save as UTF-8 CSV, or send the Excel file |
| Part numbers end in E+11 or similar | A long number was turned into scientific notation | Re-export with the part-number column as Text |
| Some part numbers became dates | Numbers with dashes or slashes were read as dates | Set the column to Text before pasting |
| Many rows set aside as no price | Prices hold text, or the discount or currency cells do not read | Put notes in their own column; use AED, USD or EUR |
| Every row set aside as not new | The condition column holds grade words such as OEM | Move grade words to the brand column; write New or leave it empty |
| Your stock stopped updating after a new export | A column we read was renamed or removed | Tell us, and we re-map the layout |
Which way to send, by what you have
There is no wrong starting point, only a faster or slower one. Pick the row that matches what you have today; you can always move to a better format later, and the mapping is updated when you do.
| What you have | Send | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| A short list on paper | Clear photos, one page each, or the CSV template filled in | Part numbers written exactly as on the box |
| A spreadsheet you keep by hand | The spreadsheet itself, as XLSX or CSV | Part numbers formatted as Text; one sheet |
| An export from a stock or accounting program | The export unchanged, CSV if offered | The same layout every time |
| A file over 4 MB | A download link on the form, or email | The link must open without a sign-in |
| A trade book in several currencies and stores | The full export, with a note on codes and currencies | One currency or code we do not read sets lines aside |
| Stock you do not want to price | The list without prices, saying so in the note | It is held as ask-first, not sold on its own |
What sending a list costs
Sending a list asks for no account, no sign-up and no card on the upload form, and there is no paid placement in the shop today. The terms that matter, how orders reach you, collection or delivery, minimum order, the price basis, invoicing, payment and returns, are agreed with each supplier before the first order and recorded on our side. Until that conversation has happened, nothing from your list goes live.
VAT, tax invoices and prices: the UAE rules behind the price columns
Three things in a stock list, the price, its currency and the VAT basis in your note, sit on top of UAE tax rules that apply to you as the seller, as they were written when read on 4 November 2026.
The standard VAT rate is 5%. A business must register for VAT when its taxable supplies and imports over the previous 12 months pass AED 375,000, or are expected to pass it in the next 30 days, and may register voluntarily from AED 187,500. Not every supplier has to be registered, which is why we ask for a tax registration number only from suppliers who are.
A VAT-registered seller must issue a tax invoice for every taxable sale and deliver it to the buyer; the Federal Tax Authority says that offering one only if the buyer asks does not meet the rule. If you price in US dollars or euros, the amounts are converted to dirhams at the Central Bank rate on the date of supply, and the invoice must show the VAT in dirhams and the exchange rate used. The rate we record with each of your dollar or euro lines is for our pricing; it does not replace the one on your invoice.
This section is a summary of the law for orientation, not legal advice: the rules are in Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax, its Executive Regulations (Cabinet Resolution No. 52 of 2017) and the Federal Tax Authority's pages on registration and tax invoices, where the Arabic text of each law prevails.
| Rule | What it means for your list | Where it is written |
|---|---|---|
| The standard VAT rate is 5% | Say whether your prices include it | VAT Decree-Law, Article 3 |
| Registration is compulsory above AED 375,000 of taxable supplies and imports | Give your tax registration number if you are registered | Federal Tax Authority, Registration for VAT |
| A tax invoice for every taxable sale, not only on request | If you are registered, every order is a sale that needs one | VAT Decree-Law, Article 65; FTA clarification VATP006 |
| Foreign-currency invoices show the VAT in dirhams and the rate used | Pricing in USD or EUR is fine; the invoice still converts | VAT Decree-Law, Article 69; FTA clarification VATP006 |

Questions suppliers ask
- Can I send the export from my stock system as it is?
- Yes. Send it unchanged. We map its columns once, and every later export with the same layout loads the same way.
- Is there a template I can fill in?
- Yes. The CSV template linked on this page has the columns already named: part number, brand, quantity, your price, genuine number, description, condition and warehouse. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
- My part numbers have spaces and dashes. Does that matter?
- No. We match part numbers with spaces, dashes, dots and slashes removed, so 04152-YZZA1, 04152 YZZA1 and 04152YZZA1 are the same number.
- Can one file hold several warehouses?
- Yes. Use a warehouse or stock-code column, or one quantity column per warehouse. Each code becomes one of your locations, with its own readiness time.
- Our brand names are abbreviated. Do I need to clean them?
- No. We clean brand names to ours once, when we map your file, and remember the rule. A list that says TOY, TOYOTA GEN or Toyota Genuine is read as Toyota, and a spelling that says genuine keeps the genuine flag.
- Can my headers be in Arabic?
- Yes. The mapping is done by a person, so Arabic, English or mixed headers all work. Files saved as UTF-8 or as Arabic Windows text are both read; if your program offers UTF-8, choose it.
- How big can the file be?
- Up to 4 MB through the upload form. For anything bigger, paste a link to the file or email it to hello@easyauto.ae.
- Should I send only the lines that changed since last time?
- No. Send the whole list every time. A part missing from your newest file is marked unavailable, so a file of changes alone would switch off everything it leaves out.
- Does the order of my columns matter?
- No. Columns are matched by their names when we map your file, not by their position. What matters is that the names stay the same from one file to the next.
- What happens to a line with a quantity of 0?
- It loads as out of stock rather than being set aside. You can leave such lines in; when the quantity rises in a later file, the line is offered again.
- Can I write a price as AED 38.50?
- Yes. Currency letters such as AED or DHS before or after the number are ignored when the price is read; the currency itself comes from your currency column, or from what you tell us for the whole list. Text such as on request is not a price, and the row is set aside.
- My file uses a comma for decimals. Is that a problem?
- No, as long as the whole file uses the same style. The reader works out from the number cells whether a file uses a dot or a comma for decimals.
- What should go in the condition column?
- New, or nothing. Any other word in that column, including grade words such as OEM or Genuine, is read as not new and the line is set aside. The grade belongs in the brand column.
- Can I send stock I can order in but do not hold?
- Yes, if it is coded to a location of its own, with that location's real readiness time, so it is offered with the days it really takes. Do not code it to your main store.
- My list mixes new and used parts. Can I send it?
- Send it with the used lines removed, or with a condition column that marks them. Lines that are not new are set aside: stock lists are for new parts only.
- Who sees the file I send?
- The people at Easy Auto who check and map it. Your prices are never published, customers see Easy Auto's price, and they are not told which supplier a part comes from.
- Can my list show prices before VAT?
- Yes. Tell us which basis your list uses and we record it with your mapping, so the price on each order means what you meant. If you are VAT registered, give us your tax registration number as well.
- How do I know which lines were set aside?
- Every line set aside is recorded with its reason when the file loads. Ask the person who mapped your file which lines they were, and fix those cells in the next file.
