Key facts
- On 7 October 2026 DME Auto listed 80D26L and 80D26R flooded batteries from six brands at AED 310.00 to AED 450.00, every price stated as including 5% VAT with free delivery within Dubai.
- On the same day 800CarGuru listed 80D26L left-terminal batteries from eight brands at AED 343.00 to AED 749.00, and its listings do not say whether VAT is included.
- AGM batteries in the 70Ah, 80Ah and 95Ah sizes were listed at DME Auto from AED 751.60 to AED 1,300.00 across seven brands. A 70Ah AGM listing cost between 1.4 and 2.1 times the same brand's flooded listing at the same shop.
- Bosch's 95Ah right-terminal JIS battery, code 115D31R where the code was printed, was listed at AED 597.00 by DME Auto, AED 790.22 by Fepy, AED 840.00 by 800CarGuru and AED 865.00 by Parts7 on 7 October 2026.
- Warranty lines are the sellers' own and they differ: DME Auto printed one year for most brands, 18 months for Amaron and two years for AC Delco; 800CarGuru printed 12 months; PitStopArabia states 12 to 36 months depending on brand and model.
- No EFB price range is published here: none of the shops we read listed a battery as EFB with a price of its own, and a number built from anything else would be an estimate.
How these prices were read, and what they are not
Five sellers supply the prices, all read on 7 October 2026, all UAE sellers with an AED price on a public listing page. A sixth, PitStopArabia, is used only for its warranty terms. DME Auto (dmeauto.ae) is a Dubai workshop that runs an online battery shop; it listed 245 battery products across its battery categories and brand pages, and every one of them prints the line including VAT and free delivery within Dubai. 800CarGuru (800carguru.ae), Fepy (fepy.com), Parts7 (parts7.ae) and Bin Arab Auto Spare Parts (binarabautospareparts.com) also list batteries with AED prices, but none of them prints a VAT statement on the pages we read, so we cannot tell you whether 5% VAT is already inside those numbers.
Where a listing shows two numbers, a struck-through earlier price and a current price, we use the current one. DME Auto showed a struck-through earlier price on 128 of its 245 listings, which is one reason to treat every listed price as a snapshot rather than a fixed rate.
We copy each battery as the seller named it. Sellers do not agree on capacity for the same case code: on 7 October 2026 DME Auto printed 80D26L as 70Ah for Varta, Bosch, Eveready and Bekon but as 60Ah for Amaron and Power Zone. So the tables below group batteries by the code in the listing, and show the amp-hour figure as each seller printed it. If a code such as 80D26L means nothing to you yet, the car batteries page explains how to read one.
Nothing on this page is a quote. A listed price is what one shop asked for one listing on one day. It may not include fitting, and it may change before you call. Use it to sanity-check a quote, then get the quote.
JIS-size flooded batteries: one shop, one day, by code
JIS is the Japanese sizing standard, and the code is printed on the case. The table lists every DME Auto listing we read under each code, brand by brand from the lowest price to the highest. Where one brand shows two prices for a code, the left-terminal and right-terminal versions, or two separate listings, were priced differently. All of these prices are stated to include 5% VAT and free delivery within Dubai.
The thing to notice is the spread inside one code at one shop. In the 55D23 row the listings run from AED 260.00 to AED 450.00, and in the 105D31 row from AED 380.00 to AED 590.00. In the 55D23 row every brand prints 60Ah, and in the 105D31 row the two ends of the range, Bekon at AED 380.00 and Varta at AED 590.00, are both 90Ah listings. So capacity does not account for those gaps. What is left is brand and model, because the shop is the same.

DIN-size flooded batteries: the same spread at the European sizes
DIN is the European sizing standard. The table groups DME Auto's flooded DIN listings by the capacity printed in the title, and names the brand and the price of every flooded DIN listing we read at three capacities.
Within one brand the price rises with capacity but not in a straight line. Bosch's DIN S4 listings at DME Auto were AED 317.00 for 44Ah, AED 425.00 for 62Ah, AED 495.00 for 74Ah and AED 509.00 for 80Ah. In the same shop's S5 line the 110Ah was listed at AED 733.00, two dirhams below the 100Ah at AED 735.00, so a bigger number on the label is not a guarantee of a bigger price.
A brand can also list two different products at one capacity. In the 100Ah row AC Delco appears at AED 790.00 and at AED 960.00, because the shop had two separate AC Delco 100Ah listings with different model numbers, 20-100 and 1151, and Varta appears at AED 660.00 and AED 710.00 for the same reason. Ask for the model number, not only the amp-hours.

AGM batteries by capacity
AGM stands for absorbent glass mat. AGM prices sit well above flooded prices at the same capacity, as the next section shows. The table below gives every AGM listing DME Auto showed from 60Ah to 105Ah, brand by brand. Which type a car needs is set by the car, not by the price, so check the label on the battery you are replacing or the owner's manual, and see the car batteries page for how the types differ.
Two notes on what is in the table. The three Autopart rows are filed by the shop under its AGM category although the listing title does not say AGM, and they are counted as AGM. And DME Auto also listed batteries named Bosch L AGM in 50Ah at AED 1,298.00, in 100Ah at AED 2,146.00 and in 240Ah at AED 3,765.00; the listings do not say what those are for, so we have left them out rather than guess.

What AGM adds to the price: the same brand at the same shop
To measure the step from flooded to AGM without the shop getting in the way, the table pairs each brand's 70Ah AGM listing at DME Auto with that brand's flooded DIN listing at the nearest capacity the shop listed, which was 70Ah or 74Ah. The last column is the AGM price divided by the flooded price, rounded to one decimal.
The multiple ran from 1.4 to 2.1. Read it as the size of the step and not as a rule: four of the six pairs differ by 4Ah as well as by type, and the brands are not equal. The practical point is that an AGM battery is a different purchase from a flooded one and the two should never be compared on price alone.

| Brand | AGM listing, AED | Flooded DIN listing, AED | AGM as a multiple of flooded |
|---|---|---|---|
| Autopart | 70Ah, 751.60 | 70Ah, 358.60 | 2.1 |
| Varta | 70Ah, 1,010.00 | 74Ah, 500.00 | 2.0 |

| Amaron | 70Ah, 930.00 | 74Ah, 630.00 | 1.5 |
| Power Zone | 70Ah, 790.00 | 74Ah, 560.00 | 1.4 |
The same Bosch battery at four shops
To see how much the shop matters, the table takes the Bosch sizes that all four shops stocking the brand listed on 7 October 2026: DME Auto, Fepy, 800CarGuru and Parts7. Across these five rows the highest listed price was between 1.4 and 1.7 times the lowest. The lowest was at DME Auto in two rows, at Fepy in two and at Parts7 in one, so no one shop was lowest throughout.
Do not read the gap as pure shop margin. DME Auto states that its price includes 5% VAT and free delivery in Dubai, and the other three do not say what theirs includes. The series is printed as S4 for the DIN rows and as S5A for the AGM rows at DME Auto and Fepy, but 800CarGuru and Parts7 print no series, so two listings of the same capacity may not be the identical battery. A Bosch 70Ah JIS 80D26L, for example, is listed with 540A at DME Auto for AED 425.00 and with 630A at Fepy for AED 535.29, which is a reason to compare the printed specification as well as the price.

Amaron and Varta across shops
Amaron was listed by DME Auto, Parts7 and Bin Arab Auto Spare Parts under matching or near-matching codes. Its 80D26L was AED 450.00 at DME Auto, AED 315.00 at Parts7 and AED 345.00 at Bin Arab, and its NS40ZL family was AED 290.00 to AED 310.00 at DME Auto, AED 250.00 at Parts7 and AED 240.00 at Bin Arab. Parts7 itself listed the 55D23L and 85D23L 60Ah at two different prices, AED 335.00 and AED 450.00.
Varta was listed by DME Auto and Parts7. The two shops' AGM prices were within AED 105.00 of each other at 70Ah, 80Ah and 95Ah, with Parts7 higher each time, and reversed at 105Ah, where DME Auto's AED 1,375.00 was above Parts7's AED 1,031.00. For the 80D26R in the 70Ah JIS size the gap was wide: AED 410.00 at DME Auto against AED 612.00 at Parts7.
800CarGuru listed four Amaron batteries. Two of them, the 85D23L at AED 602.00 and the 55B24LS at AED 494.66, carry a size option labelled EFB while the product text calls them JIS. They are left out of the table because a comparison with the standard listings would not be like for like.

One shop's brand ladder: the 80D26L at 800CarGuru
800CarGuru's battery collection is a useful second view because it lists many brands under one code. On 7 October 2026 it listed an 80D26L left-terminal battery from eight brands. Every price below is the figure the shop printed, in the order of the table, lowest to highest.
The same shop listed the right-terminal 80D26R from seven of those brands. Five of them, Powertech, Zeetex, Eveready, Energizer and Volta, were at the same price as the left-terminal version. Bosch was at AED 641.67 against AED 653.33, and AC Delco was at AED 604.00 against AED 343.00 on the same day. A right-terminal case is the left-terminal case with the terminals swapped, and the listings do not explain a gap like AC Delco's, which is a good reason to confirm the exact code and the price with the shop before you pay.
Most 800CarGuru listings mention free delivery, either to your location or in supported UAE areas depending on the listing, and every listing says that professional installation is available from the shop. The listings print no VAT statement. We publish no installation price.

What actually moves a car battery price in the UAE
Capacity and case size come first. Inside one brand's line at one shop the price rises with the amp-hours, as the Bosch DIN S4 figures above show, from AED 317.00 at 44Ah to AED 509.00 at 80Ah. It is not strictly proportional, so ask for the model code as well as the amp-hours.
Type comes second. An AGM listing was between 1.4 and 2.1 times the same brand's flooded listing at the same shop. AGM and EFB are the types made for cars that stop and restart the engine, so if your car came with one, the type the manufacturer specified is the type to price.
Cold cranking amps, printed as CCA or as a number followed by A, is the figure on the label that says how hard the battery can crank in the cold. DME Auto prints it in some listing titles and not in others. Within Eveready's JIS listings it rises with size: 550A on the 70Ah 80D26L at AED 375.80, 690A on the 90Ah 105D31L at AED 522.00 and 770A on the 95Ah 115D31L at AED 556.40. Across brands it does not line up with the price: a Bosch 80D26L printed 540A at AED 425.00 and an Eveready 80D26L printed 550A at AED 375.80. So CCA is worth asking for, and a buyer comparing brands cannot use it alone to judge whether a price is fair.
Brand is the third lever. At DME Auto the 80D26 row runs from AED 310.00 to AED 450.00 across six brands. The listings cannot tell you how much of a brand's price is the battery and how much is the name, which is one more reason to compare the printed specification and the warranty rather than the label.
The shop is the fourth lever. The Bosch table shows the same capacity differing by 1.4 to 1.7 times between shops, and only one of the five shops says that its price includes VAT and delivery. A shop that quotes a lower number but leaves out VAT, delivery or fitting has not necessarily quoted less.
Warranty lines: what the sellers print
We can only report the warranty a seller states, and the sellers do not state the same thing. DME Auto prints a warranty line on each battery product page. We opened six: Varta, Eveready and Bekon printed 1 Year, Amaron printed 18 Months, Autopart printed 15 Months and AC Delco printed 2 Years. The script that writes the line on those pages assigns one year to any brand it does not name.
800CarGuru printed 12 Months Standard Warranty on 89 of its 137 battery listings and nothing on the other 48. Its terms of service say battery purchases are non-refundable, that the warranty is limited to recharging or replacing a defective battery, and that it ends if the battery passes to another vehicle or party.
PitStopArabia lists no battery prices on its battery page, but it states its warranty terms in its FAQ: a replacement warranty of 12 to 36 months depending on the brand and model, with the exact period on each product page; valid only for vehicles used mainly in the UAE; an original invoice required for any claim; only the original purchaser can claim; and the battery must be fitted by its authorised technicians, with self-installation voiding the warranty.
Fepy, Parts7 and Bin Arab printed no warranty term on the listing pages we read. We cannot tell from any listing how much of a price is warranty, so compare the months as well as the dirhams, and get the term written on the invoice.
What we could not price, and why we left it blank
We publish no EFB range. No shop we read listed a battery as EFB with a price of its own. The letters appear on a priced listing only as a size option on two Amaron listings at 800CarGuru, whose product text describes them as JIS, and in a product code that a shopper cannot see on one AC Delco listing there. An EFB price built from that would be a guess.
We publish no price for Exide or Optima. Neither brand was listed by any of the five shops on the pages we read, although both have brand pages on this site that describe what each maker publishes.
We publish no installation, call-out or mobile fitting price. This page is about the battery itself. If a shop quotes delivery and fitting as one figure, ask it to separate the battery, the fitting and the disposal of your old battery.
We left out the 20 commercial-vehicle batteries DME Auto lists, because the price of a truck battery says little about a car one.
What to send on WhatsApp to get a real price
A listed price answers what a battery costs. A quote answers what you will pay for your car, delivered, today. To get the second one in one round trip, send these in a single message: the make, model, year and engine of the car; whether the engine stops and restarts at traffic lights, which tells the seller whether you need a start-stop type; a clear photo of the label on the battery now in the car, which prints the brand, the size code such as 80D26L or a DIN number, the amp-hours and usually the cold cranking figure; the emirate and area you are in; and whether you want it delivered or will collect.
Then ask every seller the same five things so the quotes can be compared: the price in dirhams including 5% VAT; whether delivery is included; whether fitting is included or charged separately, and what happens to your old battery; the warranty in months, written on the invoice; and the manufacture date code on the battery you will receive, so you are not sold old stock.
The WhatsApp button at the top of this page sends your message to a person, who reads it and comes back with UAE sellers who stock your size. Because the sellers price the same question, the answers line up.
Parts sellers we can name
These shops are here because our record of them says their stock covers car batteries. It is a record of what they sell, not of what is on the shelf or what they charge today, and none of them has paid to be here. The prices in the tables above come from the listings named there, not from this list.

FAQs
- How much does a car battery cost in the UAE?
- It depends mainly on size, type and the shop. On 7 October 2026 DME Auto listed flooded JIS batteries from AED 180.00 for a 36Ah NS40ZL to AED 597.00 for a 95Ah 115D31R across the six codes in its table, flooded DIN batteries from AED 250.00 at 55Ah to AED 960.00 for one 100Ah AC Delco model across the three capacities in its table, and AGM batteries from AED 685.00 at 60Ah to AED 1,375.00 at 105Ah in its AGM table. Every DME Auto price was stated to include 5% VAT and free delivery within Dubai. Observed at dmeauto.ae on 7 October 2026. One retailer on one day, not a market survey, and not a quote.
- How much more does an AGM battery cost than a normal one?
- At DME Auto on 7 October 2026 a 70Ah AGM listing cost between 1.4 and 2.1 times the same brand's flooded DIN listing of 70Ah or 74Ah: Autopart 2.1, Varta 2.0, Bosch 1.9, Eveready 1.8, Amaron 1.5 and Power Zone 1.4. In absolute terms the 70Ah AGM listings ran from AED 751.60 to AED 1,010.00. Observed at dmeauto.ae on 7 October 2026. One retailer on one day, not a market survey, and not a quote. Which type you need is set by the car, so check the battery label or the owner's manual before you compare prices.
- Why is the same battery priced differently at different UAE shops?
- Partly the shop and partly what the price includes. On 7 October 2026 Bosch's 95Ah right-terminal JIS battery was listed at AED 597.00 by DME Auto, AED 790.22 by Fepy, AED 840.00 by 800CarGuru and AED 865.00 by Parts7. Only DME Auto states that its price includes 5% VAT and free delivery in Dubai. Observed at dmeauto.ae, fepy.com, 800carguru.ae and parts7.ae on 7 October 2026. Four retailers on one day, not a market survey, and not a quote. Ask every seller whether the price includes VAT, delivery, fitting and the old battery.
- Does the listed battery price include fitting?
- The DME Auto listings state 5% VAT and free delivery within Dubai and say nothing about fitting. 800CarGuru describes delivery with installation as an option on its product pages. Fepy, Parts7 and Bin Arab say nothing about fitting on the listing pages we read. We publish no fitting prices, so ask each seller to list the battery, the fitting and the disposal of the old battery as separate lines.
- How long is a car battery warranty in the UAE?
- There is no single UAE figure, only what each seller states. On 7 October 2026 DME Auto printed 1 year for most brands, 18 months for Amaron, 15 months for Autopart and 2 years for AC Delco; 800CarGuru printed 12 months; PitStopArabia states 12 to 36 months depending on brand and model, valid for vehicles used mainly in the UAE and for batteries fitted by its authorised technicians. Compare the months as well as the price, and get the term written on the invoice.
- Is there a price for EFB batteries on this page?
- No. None of the shops we read listed a battery as EFB with a price of its own, and an EFB range built from anything else would be an estimate. If your car came with an EFB battery, send the label on the old battery and the make, model and year, and ask each seller to quote that type.
- What should I send on WhatsApp to get a battery price?
- Send the make, model, year and engine of the car, whether the engine stops and restarts at traffic lights, a clear photo of the label on the battery now in the car, and your emirate and area. Then ask each seller for the price including 5% VAT, whether delivery and fitting are included, what happens to your old battery, the warranty in months written on the invoice, and the manufacture date code of the battery you will receive.
- How often do these battery prices change?
- Treat every listed price as a snapshot. DME Auto showed a struck-through earlier price beside the current one on 128 of its 245 battery listings on 7 October 2026. We use the current price, and a listing cannot tell you how long that price will stay. Observed at dmeauto.ae on 7 October 2026. One retailer on one day, not a market survey, and not a quote. Check the current price with the seller before you drive anywhere.
