Key facts
- Each brand's own UAE website names the company behind it: Inter Emirates Motors for MG, AGMC for Geely, AW Rostamani Automotive for Chery, Al Naboodah Group for Haval and the other GWM brands, and Al Habtoor Motors for JAC. BYD's UAE website is run by Al-Futtaim. Read on 7 October 2026.
- MG's UAE warranty page says the warranty requires servicing with genuine Original Equipment Specification MG parts, and excludes damage from non-approved parts and repairs by non-authorised workshops.
- MG's UAE website gives 6 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first, for most models registered in the Middle East. GWM's UAE website gives 6 years or 200,000 km for the Tank and for the Haval H6.
- UAE line-ups use one model name for several versions: GWM's service form lists the Wingle 7 as Diesel, Petrol 4x2 and Petrol 4x4, and MG lists the HS and the HS Hybrid+ separately. The exact version belongs in every parts request.
- Geely's UAE Spare Parts page offers a price check by car model. Chery's UAE service page says its work uses Chery Genuine Parts.
- A shared platform is not a shared part number. Geely's UAE news page says its Compact Modular Architecture was developed jointly with Volvo Car Group, and neither that page nor MG's names a single part number shared between brands.
Which Chinese brands this guide covers
We cover the brands for which we could read a UAE website that names the company supporting them here: MG, Geely, Chery, Haval together with the other GWM brands (Tank, Wingle and Poer), JAC and BYD. Every statement below about a distributor, a warranty or a model line-up is attributed to the page it came from, with the date we read it.
GAC and some other Chinese badges are also sold in the UAE. When we checked on 7 October 2026 we found no UAE distributor page for GAC that we could verify, so this guide names no distributor for it. The method in the later sections, which is the VIN, a photo of the old part and the exact version of the car, works the same for any badge.
Nothing here is a view on how any of these cars or their parts perform. The guide is about finding and ordering the right part, and it makes no claim on that subject beyond what a cited page states.
Who looks after each brand in the UAE
The table below lists the company each brand's own UAE website names, and the parts or service pages we found on that website. It records what the sites said on 7 October 2026. It is a starting point for who to ask, not a promise that a given part is in stock.
A note on MG, because older pages disagree. In March 2018 the motoring site DriveArabia reported that MG had appointed Al Yousuf Motors as its UAE distributor. MG's UAE website today calls Inter Emirates Motors the official distributor of MG Motor in the UAE, and its news items, including one dated 28 September 2026, are issued in that company's name. If a page or a listing still names Al Yousuf Motors as the MG distributor, check MG's UAE website before you rely on it.
Two other things are worth knowing. We did not find BYD's UAE website calling Al-Futtaim the distributor, so we say only that the site is run by Al-Futtaim, which is what its footer and its legal page state. And GWM's UAE website is one site for four brands: Haval, Tank, Wingle and Poer.
| Brand | Company named on the brand's UAE website | Parts and service pages we found | Website read |
|---|---|---|---|
| MG | Inter Emirates Motors, called the official distributor of MG Motor in the UAE | A locations page you can filter by Sales, Service and Parts and Accessories. Inter Emirates Motors reports five service centres and a genuine parts operation | mg-uae.com |
| Geely | AGMC, called the distributor of Geely Auto in the UAE | A Spare Parts page with a price check by car model, and a parts enquiry email address at agmc.ae | geely.ae |
| Chery | AW Rostamani Automotive, which the footer calls the official Chery distributor in the UAE | A service page that says Chery Genuine Parts are used | cheryuae.com |
| Haval, Tank, Wingle, Poer (GWM) | Al Naboodah Group, which the site says has been in an exclusive partnership with GWM since 2003 | A service centre finder and a service appointment form listing Dubai (Deira and Al Quoz), Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Fujairah | gwmuae.com |
| JAC | Al Habtoor Motors, which calls itself the exclusive distributor of JAC Motors in the UAE since 2013 | A locations page with a Parts Centre filter beside its service centre listings | jacuae.com |
| BYD | Al-Futtaim, which runs the BYD UAE website | A locations page listing service centres and aftersales sites, including one at Dubai Investments Park | byduae.ae |
Why the warranty can point you to the distributor first
The clearest reason to start at the distributor is in the warranty terms themselves. MG's UAE warranty page, read on 7 October 2026, gives 6 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first, for most models registered in the Middle East. It says the warranty requires a full and accurate service history carried out to the recommended plan, using genuine Original Equipment Specification MG parts and authorised MG fluids. Its list of exclusions includes damage resulting from non-approved parts, accessories or products not authorised by MG, and repairs or maintenance carried out by non-authorised workshops or service providers.
GWM's UAE warranty page gives 6 years or 200,000 km for the Tank and for the Haval H6, with a further 10 years or 1,000,000 km on the Tank's engine and transmission. We found no clause about parts on that page. That means the page does not answer the question, not that the answer is no, so ask the distributor.
In practice, while your car is covered, the maker's terms and not the price of the part decide where parts and fitting should come from. Ask the distributor's service or parts team before you buy elsewhere, and keep every invoice. Terms differ by brand, by model and by where the car was registered, so read the ones that came with your car. This is general information, not legal advice.
After the warranty ends the choice is yours, and that is when independent counters matter most. The sections below cover how to identify the part for either route.

How the brands say they stock parts
Geely's UAE distributor AGMC has a parts distribution centre in Dubai with connections to Jebel Ali Port. Truck and Fleet Middle East, a trade publication, reported that it supplies parts across the emirates and to dealership associates in as many as 35 nations, and quoted an Albatha Automotive executive as saying the hub is set up to supply parts for the Geely models available in the UAE.
Chery reported on 19 December 2024 that its Middle East Regional Spare Parts Distribution Center had opened near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, stocking over 20,000 types of spare parts for the Chery models available in the Middle East. The report was a Chery Automobile press release distributed by PR Newswire. Chery's UAE service page says its work uses Chery Genuine Parts.
These are the brands' and distributors' own statements about their warehouses. They do not tell you whether your part is on a shelf today or how long it would take. They tell you who to ask first, and that a regional supply route exists for these two brands.

Same name, different car: say which version you drive
Several UAE line-ups use one model name for more than one version, and a parts counter needs to know which one is in front of it. The table shows the versions the brands' own UAE websites list under a shared name. Whether a given part is common to two versions is for the counter to confirm from your VIN and the part number. We do not know, and you should not assume either way.
A request that says Haval H6 is incomplete. One that says Haval H6 HEV, with the VIN, is not. The same applies to the fuel type or drivetrain where a line-up offers more than one: GWM's service form, for example, lists the Wingle 7 as Diesel, Petrol 4x2 and Petrol 4x4.
| Brand | Versions listed | Where listed |
|---|---|---|
| MG | MG HS and MG HS Hybrid+ | The model menu on mg-uae.com |
| Chery | Tiggo 7, Tiggo 7 Champion and Tiggo 7 Super Hybrid | The model menu on cheryuae.com |
| GWM | Haval H6 and H6 HEV; Tank 300 and Tank 300 HEV; Wingle 7 Diesel, Wingle 7 Petrol 4x2 and Wingle 7 Petrol 4x4 | The service appointment form on gwmuae.com |
| JAC | JS6 and JS6 Pro; T8 and T8 Pro | The model menu on jacuae.com |
| Geely | Geely EX5 and Geely EX5 EM-i | The Spare Parts page on geely.ae |
Shared platforms: what they do and do not mean
Two relationships are stated on the brands' own UAE websites. Geely's UAE news page reports that the Compact Modular Architecture, known as CMA, was developed jointly by Geely Holding Group and Volvo Car Group, and that vehicles built on it have been sold by both brands. MG's UAE website calls SAIC Motor MG's parent company.
A platform is the underlying architecture of a car, not a parts catalogue. Neither page says that any particular part number is shared between brands, and we do not claim it either. Our MG spare parts page sets out the one pairing we have published for MG, together with the part it rests on. For any other pairing, the part number for your VIN decides, not the badge.

Identify the part before you ask
Every counter, whether it is the distributor's or an independent one, works from the same information, and whatever you leave out becomes a round of questions. Have these ready: the VIN from your registration card (our VIN guide shows where it is and how counters use it), the exact model and version as the brand lists it, the model year, the fuel type or drivetrain where the line-up offers more than one, a photo of the old part with any printed number visible, which side and position it fits, and your emirate.
Example message: model and version, year, VIN with all 17 characters, the part and the side you need, photo of the old part attached, your emirate. Please send the part number, the price, and whether it is genuine, aftermarket or used.
Ask for the part number in the reply and have it written on the invoice together with the warranty terms. That is the document you will need if the part turns out to be wrong. The same discipline applies to the distributor's counter and to an independent one.
If your car is a hybrid or an electric version, say so in the first line. The brands above list those versions separately, and a counter that does not know which one you drive cannot quote it.
Genuine, aftermarket and independent counters
The tiers explained in our genuine, OEM, aftermarket and used guide apply to Chinese brands as they do to any other. What the brand sources above tell you concerns only the first tier: Chery's service page says its work uses Chery Genuine Parts, and MG's warranty page names genuine Original Equipment Specification MG parts. They say nothing about whether an independent maker supplies a given part, and we found no source that does, so we make no claim about it. Ask any counter to name the brand and the part number it is offering, and write both on the invoice.
Our directory lists businesses that describe themselves as sellers of parts for Chinese-brand cars, among them Chinese Car Parts Dubai in the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area and Chinese Car Parts L.L.C Ajman Branch. Listing is not an endorsement, and we hold no record of what is on any shelf today, so message before you drive. Our Ras Al Khor Industrial Area guide has an answer on whether counters there stock Chinese makes.
What this guide does not cover, and where each fact comes from
It publishes no prices. We publish a price only when we have read it off a named UAE seller's own page and can date it, and we have not done that for these brands. Geely's UAE Spare Parts page offers a price check by car model. For the other brands, ask for a quote against your VIN. Our guide to reading UAE parts prices explains what a fair quote itemises.
It does not cover importing parts from China, and it says nothing about how long a given part takes to arrive, because we have no source for either. It names no distributor for GAC or for any badge whose UAE website we did not read.

Parts sellers we can name
These shops are here because our record of them names at least one of Chery, Geely, BYD, Haval, GWM, JAC, GAC or SAIC among the makes they cover. It is a record of what they say they cover, not of what is on the shelf today, so message before you drive out.

FAQs
- Who is the official distributor of Chinese car brands in the UAE?
- It depends on the brand, and each brand's own UAE website names the company behind it. On 7 October 2026 those sites named Inter Emirates Motors for MG, AGMC for Geely, AW Rostamani Automotive for Chery, Al Naboodah Group for Haval and the other GWM brands, and Al Habtoor Motors for JAC. BYD's UAE website is run by Al-Futtaim. Distributors change, so check the brand's own UAE website for your car.
- Where can I buy genuine parts for a Chinese car in the UAE?
- Start with the company your brand's UAE website names. Geely's site has a Spare Parts page with a price check by car model, Chery's service page says its work uses Chery Genuine Parts, and the MG and JAC sites have location pages with a parts filter. Send the VIN and a photo of the old part to whichever you choose, and ask for the part number in the reply.
- Does using non-genuine parts affect the warranty on a Chinese car?
- That depends on your brand's terms, so read them. MG's UAE warranty page says the warranty requires servicing with genuine Original Equipment Specification MG parts, and it excludes damage from non-approved parts and repairs by non-authorised workshops. We found no parts clause on GWM's UAE warranty page, which gives 6 years or 200,000 km for the Tank and the Haval H6. If you are unsure, ask the distributor in writing before you fit anything.
- Do Chinese cars share parts with Volvo or with other brands?
- Geely's UAE news page says the Compact Modular Architecture was developed jointly by Geely Holding Group and Volvo Car Group, and MG's UAE website names SAIC Motor as MG's parent company. A shared platform is not a shared part number, and neither page says any specific part is shared, so rely on the part number for your VIN rather than on the badge.
- Do hybrid and petrol versions of the same model use the same parts?
- We cannot say, and you should not assume either way. The brands list the versions separately: MG lists the HS and the HS Hybrid+, GWM lists the Haval H6 and the H6 HEV, and Geely lists the EX5 and the EX5 EM-i. Give the counter your VIN and the exact version and let it confirm the part number.
- What should I send on WhatsApp to get the right part?
- The VIN from your registration card, the exact model and version, the model year, the fuel type or drivetrain, a photo of the old part with any number visible, which side and position it fits, and your emirate. Ask for the part number, the price and whether it is genuine, aftermarket or used. Our VIN guide explains where to find the number and how counters use it.
- Are there shops in the UAE that specialise in Chinese car parts?
- Our directory lists businesses that describe themselves as sellers of parts for Chinese-brand cars, including Chinese Car Parts Dubai in the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area and Chinese Car Parts L.L.C Ajman Branch. Listing is not an endorsement, and we hold no record of what is on their shelves today, so message before you drive.
- Where do the brands keep their parts stock in the UAE?
- Two brands have said where. Truck and Fleet Middle East reported that Geely's UAE distributor AGMC runs a parts distribution centre in Dubai, and Chery reported on 19 December 2024 that its Middle East Regional Spare Parts Distribution Center had opened near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, stocking over 20,000 types of spare parts. Those are statements about the warehouses, not a promise that your part is in stock today.
- Does this guide cover buying car parts from China directly?
- No. It covers parts for Chinese-brand cars sold in the UAE, bought in the UAE. We have not sourced the rules, costs or timing for importing parts, so we say nothing about them.
- Why does this page not give prices?
- We publish a price only when we have read it off a named UAE seller's own page and can date it, and we have not done that for these brands. Geely's UAE Spare Parts page offers a price check by car model. For the others, ask for a quote against your VIN, and see our guide to reading UAE parts prices for what a fair quote itemises.
