Ajman Industrial Area parts market β€” what you can actually buy there

Ajman Industrial Area is a working parts district, not a souq. We hold 103 published listings whose address names it, and 67 of them sell parts: 41 general spare-parts traders, 11 used-parts specialists, and the rest split across accessories, batteries, body panels and truck parts. Almost all of it sits in Ajman Industrial 2.

It is the place to buy fast-moving mechanical parts for Japanese and Korean cars at trade-adjacent prices, close enough to the Sharjah border that shops here quote against Sharjah rather than against Dubai. It is not a car market, not a dismantling yard at Sharjah's scale, and not where you go for European or luxury parts β€” those trades sit elsewhere, and this page says where.

103 listings in this area right now, 67 of them parts businesses. The figures in the text below were measured on 31 August 2026; where they differ, this line is the newer one.

Key facts

  • 67 of the 103 published listings we hold for Ajman Industrial Area sell parts β€” 41 general parts traders and 11 used-parts specialists among them.
  • 59 of those 67 parts shops give an address in Ajman Industrial 2; only 7 are in Ajman Industrial 1. The trade is concentrated in one zone.
  • 57 of the 67 carry stock notes we recorded ourselves. Engine parts lead at 12 shops, then oils and filters and electrics at 9 each, air-conditioning at 8, and batteries, body panels, suspension and braking at 7 each.
  • Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Nissan are the makes named most often β€” 12, 11 and 11 shops β€” with Toyota at 10 and Kia at 9. 62 different make labels appear across the records in all.
  • 13 shops record that they deliver, 8 sell wholesale as well as retail, and 4 fit what they sell. Only 2 record matching a part to a VIN, so send the chassis number rather than assume it will be asked for.
  • The cluster sits about 9 km from the Sharjah Industrial Area parts trade, where we list 251 parts businesses, and about 20 km from Deira's wholesale counters. Inter-emirate van transport is routine in this trade, so a part missing here is rarely far away.

Where it is, and how tight the cluster is

Ajman Industrial Area runs in three numbered zones. Ajman Industrial 2, where almost all of the parts trade sits, is by Al Ittihad Street β€” the E11 β€” on the Ajman and Sharjah border, with Ajman Industrial 1 to its north. That border position is the single most useful thing to know about the place: the Sharjah Industrial Area parts trade, where we list 251 parts businesses against this district's 67, is about 9 km away, and Deira's wholesale counters are about 20 km.

The parts trade is not spread evenly across the three zones. 59 of the 67 parts businesses we hold give an address in Ajman Industrial 2, 7 in Ajman Industrial 1, and one record does not say which zone. Two street names recur often enough in our address records to be worth knowing before you set off: Al Doha Street, which appears on seven records β€” six of them in transliterated Arabic β€” and every one of the seven a parts shop, and Amman Street, which appears on seven records of which five are parts shops. Amr Ibn El Aas Street and Gharnatah Street each appear three times, and several shops give directions by the Lucky roundabout rather than by street name.

We hold a coordinate for all 103 listings, and that is where the honesty has to start: 39 of them carry the same area-centre pin, which is what a map returns when it has no street address to place. 61 of the 67 parts listings fall within 2 km of that centre, so the cluster is genuinely compact β€” but do not read a map of this area as 103 exact doors. Roughly two in five are approximate.

What trades cluster here

This is a count of our own published listings for the area on 31 August 2026, by the primary category each carries. It is the shape of the district rather than a survey of it: a business we have not listed does not appear, and the parts share below is high partly because parts is what we enrich hardest.

The read for a buyer is the ratio. Two thirds of everything listed here sells parts, and a sixth of the parts shops sell used. There are only ten repair and body shops among the 103, which tells you this is a place people buy from and take away, not a place they leave the car.

What the shops here say they stock

57 of the 67 parts businesses carry stock notes we recorded and can publish. The table is a count of shops naming each part family, not a count of parts, and a shop naming three families appears in three rows. Nothing here is a stock feed: it is what a shop told us or published about itself when we last checked on 29 July 2026, and a shelf can empty in a week.

The pattern is a mechanical parts district with a strong heat-and-wear bias, which is what you would expect at this latitude. Engine parts lead, air-conditioning is stocked by 8 of the 57, and batteries, cooling, suspension and braking are all well represented. Tyres are the visible gap β€” only 2 shops record them β€” so buy tyres in Sharjah or from a fitter, not here.

The make weighting is the other useful signal. Hyundai is named by 12 shops, Mitsubishi and Nissan by 11 each, Toyota by 10, Kia by 9, Honda and Lexus by 8. 62 different make labels appear in all, several of them variants of the same marque, and they include European, Chinese and truck brands β€” but the depth is Japanese and Korean. If you drive a Land Rover or a Porsche, one or two shops here name it and neither is a reason to make the trip.

How to buy here without wasting the drive

Do not drive out blind. Send the chassis number from your Mulkiya and a photo of the old part to two or three shops before you leave, and let them tell you what they have. Only 2 of the 57 shops we hold notes for record that they routinely match parts by VIN, so lead with the number rather than waiting to be asked for it. 13 record that they deliver, which on a small part is often cheaper than the fuel and the afternoon.

Ask three things before you pay for anything mechanical. First, new, aftermarket or used, in those words, because all three sit on the same counter here and only the price tells them apart from across the shop. Second, what the warranty is and whether it is written on the invoice: a verbal promise on a used alternator is worth nothing once you are back on the E11. Third, whether the price includes VAT, because the quoted number and the paid number diverging is the most common complaint in this trade anywhere in the UAE.

On used parts, be straight about what you are buying. We source new and aftermarket rather than used, and for most jobs aftermarket is the cheap answer people actually want β€” a new aftermarket alternator with a warranty usually beats a used original with none. Where used genuinely wins is panels, lamps, glass, trim and major units bought with a written warranty, and this page lists the 11 used specialists here rather than pretending we are one of them.

What Ajman Industrial Area is not for, and where to go instead

It is not a car market. That is Al Jurf, about 8 km north-east, where we hold 169 listings of which 79 are car dealers and only 38 sell parts. If you are buying or selling a vehicle, or looking for the Ajman car souq, you want Al Jurf and not this district β€” the two are routinely confused because both are called an industrial area.

It is not the deepest used-parts market either. That is Sharjah, about 9 km south-west, where we hold 251 parts businesses across the industrial zones and where the auction-fed dismantling trade around Souq Al Haraj at Al Sajaa feeds the counters. For a used engine or gearbox with a real warranty, start there and treat Ajman as the closer, quicker option for the parts a workshop needs today.

And it is not the wholesale hub for boxed genuine parts. That is Deira, about 20 km away, where the Naif and Nasr Square counters carry the new and aftermarket stock in volume. The efficient pattern most workshops here follow is unchanged by any of this: wear items from the nearest counter, major used units from Sharjah, and anything unusual ordered in on a same-day van, because 9 km and 20 km are not distances that stop a part moving in this country.

What we have not verified

  • We have not visited Ajman Industrial Area. Everything above is measured from our own listings and shop records, or sourced below.
  • No opening hours. The hours we hold are single unstructured lines per shop with no days attached, a market has hours of its own that are not the sum of its tenants, and both change.
  • No price band. We have not gathered quotes here, and a made-up range is the one error a reader can catch us in personally.
  • Stock notes were last checked on 29 July 2026, and only 10 of the 57 shops had a working website of their own to check against. Treat them as a reason to send a message, never as a stock list.
  • Our listing set is not a census. A parts shop here that we have not listed is missing from every count on this page.

Sources for anything not ours

Questions people ask about Ajman Industrial Area

Where is the Ajman Industrial Area parts market?
Across Ajman Industrial 1, 2 and 3, with zone 2 sitting by Al Ittihad Street, the E11, on the Ajman and Sharjah border. 59 of the 67 parts shops we list are in zone 2, most often around Al Doha Street and Amman Street.
How many spare parts shops are in Ajman Industrial Area?
We publish 103 businesses whose address names the area and 67 of them sell parts: 41 general traders, 11 used-parts specialists, and the rest accessories, batteries, body panels and truck parts. That is our listing count on 31 August 2026, not a census of the district.
What can you actually buy there?
Fast-moving mechanical parts. Across the 57 shops whose stock we have recorded, engine parts are named by 12, oils and filters by 9, electrics by 9, air conditioning by 8, and batteries, body panels, suspension and braking by 7 each. Only 2 record tyres, so buy tyres somewhere else.
Which car makes are best covered in Ajman Industrial Area?
Japanese and Korean. Hyundai is named by 12 of the 57 shops, Mitsubishi and Nissan by 11 each, Toyota by 10, Kia by 9, Honda and Lexus by 8. 62 make labels appear in all, but European, Chinese and truck brands usually sit at one or two shops β€” not enough depth to make the drive for a luxury European part.
Is Ajman Industrial Area the same as Al Jurf?
No, and confusing the two costs you an afternoon. Al Jurf, also written Al Jerf, is a separate district about 8 km north-east and it is where the Ajman car souq is: 169 listings, 79 of them car dealers, 38 selling parts. Ajman Industrial Area is the parts district; Al Jurf is the car district.
Are parts cheaper in Ajman than in Dubai?
We have not gathered quotes in Ajman, so we will not publish a number. What we can say is structural: the district sits on the Sharjah border, about 9 km from the Sharjah Industrial Area trade and about 20 km from Deira, so shops here price against Sharjah rather than Dubai. Get two or three quotes on WhatsApp and compare.
What are the opening hours of the Ajman Industrial Area parts market?
We do not publish them. The hours we hold are single unstructured lines per shop with no days attached, a market has hours of its own that are not the sum of its tenants, and both change. Message the shop with your chassis number before you set off β€” it will tell you whether it is open and whether it has the part.
Can I buy used engines and gearboxes in Ajman Industrial Area?
Some. 11 of the 67 parts businesses here are used specialists and 8 of the shops we hold notes for record used stock. For a used engine or gearbox with a written warranty the deeper market is Sharjah, about 9 km away. For most repairs a new aftermarket part with a warranty is the cheaper honest answer, and that is what we source.
How do I buy from a shop there without driving out?
Send the chassis number from your Mulkiya plus a photo of the old part to two or three shops, and ask for the price with VAT and the warranty in writing. 13 of the 57 shops we hold notes for record that they deliver. Only 2 record matching parts by VIN as routine, so lead with the number.
Do the shops there deliver to Dubai or Abu Dhabi?
Several say they do. Among the shops recording a delivery area, Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are each named by 5, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain by 4 each, and two claim all seven emirates. Confirm per shop and per part β€” a bumper and a sensor are not the same delivery.
