FOX suspension for trucks and SUVs in the UAE
Shock absorbers, coil-overs, steering stabilizers and upper control arms for trucks and SUVs from FOX Factory, Inc.
FOX is a trademark of its owner. We are not an authorised FOX dealer or distributor, and nothing here is endorsed by them. The name and mark are shown to say which parts we quote and source.
The quick answer
FOX is FOX Factory, Inc., the American suspension maker that began with motocross air shocks in the 1970s and now sells shock absorbers, coil-overs, stabilizers and control arms for trucks and SUVs. It says it is a separate business from the apparel brand FOX Racing, and it sells bicycle, motorcycle and truck suspension, so the word Fox on a listing can point to quite different products. Its truck line is four series: Performance, Performance Elite, Factory Race and Live Valve. FOX's own dealer locator lists two truck dealers in Al Quoz, Dubai, Ramy Trading Co. LLC and TORC The Off Road Company. FOX's warranty text says it applies only to a product bought new from an authorised FOX source.

Original equipment
Ford
FOX's own timeline says its proprietary Internal Bypass technology was specified on the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and its Live Valve page says that system was proven on Ford Raptor vehicles. Both are FOX describing a United States pickup. Neither says anything about a vehicle sold in the UAE.
Source: FOX Factory β Who Is Bob Fox, company timeline and the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor line, read 2026-10-07
One named vehicle maker is the whole of FOX's original-equipment evidence on the pages we read, and it is a US pickup. Do not stretch that into a claim that FOX is fitted at the factory to the Land Cruiser, the Patrol or any other vehicle sold here, because FOX says no such thing on the pages we read. The kits it lists for those vehicles are aftermarket upgrades.
Where it is made
FOX's pages give two locations: a corporate office address in Duluth, Georgia, which appears in its warranty text, and a facility at Scotts Valley, California, where its company history says young engineers work. Neither is described as the place truck shocks are built, and none of the pages we read says where that happens. An address is not a factory, so this page names no country of manufacture. If it matters to your purchase, ask the seller for the maker's statement of origin for the exact part number.

Both names come from FOX's own locator, read on 2026-10-07, and both carry the Truck tag that FOX's truck page links to. A third UAE entry is tagged for bicycle suspension only and is left out here. FOX's locator also lists dealers in Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. A locator can change without notice, so check it again before you travel.
Which Fox this is
The name Fox is shared by more than one business, so check which Fox a listing means. This page is about FOX Factory, Inc., the suspension maker. Its own About page says it makes suspension for mountain bikes, trucks and SUVs, motorsports, industry, sports cars and powersports, that it was previously marketed as Fox Racing Shox, and that it is a separate business from FOX Racing, the apparel brand.
That one paragraph is worth keeping in mind when you read a listing. A product called Fox Racing Shox, a fork for a mountain bike and a coil-over for a Land Cruiser all come from the same company, and none of them has anything to do with a jersey. If a seller sells you a FOX shock for your truck, the thing to check is the part number and the vehicle it is listed against, not the name on the box.
Everything below is about the truck and SUV line. FOX's bicycle and motorcycle products are outside this page.
From motocross air shocks to desert trucks
FOX tells its own history in a timeline. Bob Fox, a physicist by training, began racing on motocross suspension he had designed himself in 1974, the first production FOX AirShox followed in 1975, and he started FOX Factory, Inc. in 1978. In the 1980s, FOX says, it widened into Indy car, off-road truck, quad, dune buggy and snowmobile markets.
The timeline carries one line that matters to a truck owner. In the late 1970s FOX shocks were being used on off-road racing cars, and the example it gives is Roger Mears on a factory Nissan truck, winning his class in a number of major off-road races. That is a racing result told by the company, and it shows how old the off-road side of the business is. It is not evidence about any shock sold today.
The corporate side is easier to check. FOX Factory Holding Corp is the parent, listed on Nasdaq as FOXF, and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission's company record gives a mailing address in Duluth, Georgia. FOX's warranty text names the same city. A listed parent means there is a public filing trail.
Four truck series, and the decision between them
FOX sorts its truck shocks into four series, and the series is the decision. Performance is the entry. It uses a monotube with an internal floating piston, which FOX says keeps the oil apart from the pressurised nitrogen and prevents aeration, and it comes in 2.0 and 2.5 inch bodies. FOX describes the 2.5 as the bigger-body shock without the complexity: more surface area to shed heat, a hydraulic top out that softens the clunk when a shock reaches the end of its rebound, and no reservoir or adjuster to set.
Performance Elite adds an external reservoir and a dual speed compression adjuster. Dual speed means the high speed and low speed compression circuits are adjusted separately, so you can stiffen the response to big hits without making small bumps harsh. FOX positions it for aggressive off-road driving with some adjustability.
Factory Race is the internal bypass shock, and the bypass is the point. It makes the damping depend on where the piston is in its stroke as well as how fast it is moving, so the shock is soft near ride height and firmer as it runs out of travel. FOX lists it as reservoir shocks, including coil-overs.
Live Valve is Factory Race with a brain. Each shock has an electronic solenoid, a control unit reads a motion sensor and the vehicle's data bus, and FOX says it adjusts damping about 400 times a second. The driver can pick On-Road, Off-Road or a custom mode. FOX notes that its mobile app is available only in the United States and Canada, which is worth knowing before you pay for a kit whose connected features you cannot use here.
A fair way to choose is to ask what you will actually adjust. Performance is the bolt-on choice. Performance Elite rewards someone who will set the compression circuits. Factory Race rewards someone who drives fast on rough ground. Live Valve suits someone who wants the setting changed for them. FOX publishes no head-to-head figure between the series, so these are descriptions of design, not a ranking.
What FOX lists for the vehicles people here drive
FOX's catalogue is built vehicle by vehicle, and each listing carries model years, trim names and a lift range. For the Land Cruiser, the Patrol and the Hilux, the picture we read on 2026-10-07 was this. The Land Cruiser 200, 2008 to 2021, has Performance 2.0 and Factory Race 2.5 fronts. The Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX600, 2022 to 2026, has Performance Elite 2.5 and Factory Race listings, with the Elite kit flagged as not fitting trim packages with KDSS. The Patrol Y62, 2010 to 2026, has a Performance 2.0 smooth body shock, and the older Y60 and Y61 have Performance and Elite listings.
The Hilux and Fortuner are covered too: a 2.0 coil-over for the 2005 to 2016 trucks, and 2.5 Performance and Elite fronts for the 2016 on Hilux. The Land Cruiser 250 and the Lexus GX550 have Live Valve kits. We saw no Live Valve listing for the 200 Series, the 300 Series or the Patrol.
Read these as FOX's listings, not as a fitment guarantee. The model years and trim names are FOX's own, written for its main store, and a UAE-specification vehicle can differ from a listed trim in ways that decide whether a kit fits. The KDSS note on the 300 Series kit is the clearest example of why a trim line can matter. Confirm against the part number, and ask the dealer to confirm the exact kit for your vehicle before you pay.
The warranty depends on who sold it to you
FOX's warranty text is explicit about the seller. It says the warranty applies to a FOX suspension product purchased new from an authorised FOX source, that it is made only to the original retail owner, and that it is not transferable. For most products the term is one year from the original retail purchase from an authorised dealer, or from an authorised original equipment manufacturer where FOX was fitted at the factory.
The lifetime cover has limits, and the text spells them out. FOX gives a limited lifetime warranty on its 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series shocks purchased after 30 March 2025, excluding sports car shocks and the 2.0 Performance Series remote reservoir shocks. The Performance Elite, Factory Race and Live Valve listings we read are flagged on FOX's own store as not carrying the lifetime term. The text also says FOX is not liable for removal or installation costs.
The wording is written by a US corporation, and it adds that a consumer may have other legal rights that vary by country. We have not found how FOX administers claims in the UAE. What the text does support is a plain buying rule: if a lifetime or one-year term matters to you, buy from a source FOX itself lists, and keep the invoice that shows it.
Two Dubai dealers named on FOX's own locator
FOX runs a dealer locator, and the truck page links to it with the Truck filter switched on. With that filter, the United Arab Emirates entries are two businesses in Al Quoz, Dubai.
Ramy Trading Co. LLC is listed at an address in Al Quoz Industrial. FOX tags it as a Distributor, Retail Store, Online, Service Center, Truck and Motorsports entry. TORC The Off Road Company is listed at an address in Al Quoz Industrial Area 1, tagged as a Retail Store, Truck and Motorsports entry.
Those tags are FOX's classification and they stop there. They do not say which series either business can order, how much it holds, or whether it handles warranty claims. A third UAE entry is tagged for bicycle suspension and does not belong in a truck decision. FOX's locator also shows dealers in Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
When you ring either, ask for the series, the part number and the model years it is quoting, ask whether the kit is the one FOX lists for your trim, and ask for an invoice naming the product. Those are the three things that protect a warranty claim later.

FOX β common questions
- Is FOX the same as Fox Racing?
- No. FOX Factory, Inc. says on its own About page that it is a separate business from FOX Racing, the apparel brand. The suspension maker was previously marketed as Fox Racing Shox, which is one reason the names get mixed up. This page covers the suspension maker's truck and SUV products only.
- What are the FOX truck series?
- Four. Performance comes in 2.0 and 2.5 inch bodies with an internal floating piston. Performance Elite adds an external reservoir and a dual speed compression adjuster. Factory Race uses an internal bypass for position-sensitive damping. Live Valve puts an electronic solenoid on each Factory Race shock and adjusts damping from sensor data.
- What is the difference between FOX Performance 2.0 and 2.5?
- Body size and a few details. FOX says the 2.5 inch aluminium body has 23 percent more surface area than the 2.0, so it sheds heat faster, and that the 2.5 adds a hydraulic top out and an aluminium internal floating piston. FOX says the 2.5 has no reservoir and no compression adjuster, and its warranty text refers to remote reservoir versions of the 2.0.
- Does FOX list shocks for the Land Cruiser 300 and the Patrol?
- Yes. On 2026-10-07 FOX listed Performance Elite 2.5 and Factory Race kits for the LC300 and Lexus LX600 for 2022 to 2026, flagged as not fitting trim packages with KDSS, and a Performance 2.0 smooth body shock for the Patrol Y62 for 2010 to 2026. Confirm the kit against your exact trim before ordering.
- Can I get FOX Live Valve for a Land Cruiser 200, 300 or Patrol?
- We saw no Live Valve listing for any of them. FOX lists Live Valve kits for the Land Cruiser 250, the Lexus GX550, the Tacoma, the F-150, the Raptor, the Bronco, the Wrangler and the Gladiator. FOX also says its Live Valve mobile app is available only in the United States and Canada.
- Is FOX fitted as original equipment on any vehicle?
- FOX's timeline says its Internal Bypass technology was specified on the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, a United States pickup. We found no claim by FOX that it is fitted at the factory to any vehicle sold in the UAE, so treat the kits for Land Cruisers and Patrols as aftermarket upgrades.
- Does FOX have dealers in the UAE?
- Yes. FOX's own dealer locator, under its Truck filter, lists Ramy Trading Co. LLC and TORC The Off Road Company, both in Al Quoz, Dubai, as of 2026-10-07. The locator can change, and a listing does not tell you what a dealer has in stock.
- What does FOX's warranty require?
- That the product was bought new from an authorised FOX source by the original retail owner. FOX gives a limited lifetime warranty on 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series shocks bought after 30 March 2025, with exclusions, and a one-year warranty on most other suspension products. It is not liable for removal or installation costs.
- Where are FOX truck shocks made?
- FOX does not say on the pages we read. It names a corporate office in Duluth, Georgia and a facility at Scotts Valley, California, but neither is described as a factory for truck shocks. We state no country of manufacture and suggest asking the seller for the maker's statement for the part number.
- Is a FOX kit a lift kit?
- Not on the pages we read. FOX tags each listing with the lift range it was built for, such as zero to two inches or two to three inches, so the shock is chosen to suit a ride height. A shock cannot hold a vehicle up on its own, and where a listing is a coil-over the spring is part of it.
- Should I choose FOX, King Shocks or Profender?
- That is not something we can answer from sources. No maker publishes a head-to-head test or a Gulf-specific result, so any ranking would be our opinion. What is sourced is each brand's own series and listings. Compare the part number, the listed vehicle and years, the warranty terms and who is listed as a dealer in the UAE.
