For a working truck the price of the part is rarely the number that matters. A day off the road costs more than most components on the vehicle, so the questions that decide a truck parts supplier are stock depth, how fast they can get it to the yard, and whether they will quote against a chassis number rather than a model name. The UAE trade covers Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania, MAN, DAF, Tata and Ashok Leyland, with new, OE-supplier, aftermarket, remanufactured and used all available for most assemblies. Send the chassis and engine numbers with a photo of the plate, and ask what is on the shelf today rather than what can be ordered.
Quote against the chassis and engine number, never the model year
Commercial vehicles are built to order far more than cars are. Two trucks that both say Hino 500 on the cab can carry different engines, different axle ratios, different brake specifications and different cab widths, because the body builder and the operator specified them that way. A part number that fits one will not necessarily fit the other, and the model name tells a parts counter almost nothing.
What a counter can work from is the chassis number, the engine number and the engine model code stamped on the block. Photograph the manufacturer's plate and the engine plate once and keep them on the phone: it takes ten seconds and removes the single largest source of wrong parts in this trade. For an axle, gearbox or differential part, the tag on the unit itself carries the ratio and build code and is worth photographing too.
Any supplier who quotes you a price for a brake chamber on a Fuso without asking which one is guessing, and the guess is on your time. A supplier who asks for the chassis number before quoting has just told you something good about how the rest of the transaction will go.
For a fleet, this is worth doing once properly. A vehicle file holding chassis number, engine number, engine code, axle ratio, gearbox code and the part numbers already fitted turns every future breakdown call from a twenty-minute conversation into a two-minute one.
Genuine, OE supplier, aftermarket or remanufactured on a working truck
The decision is not the same as it is on a car, because the failure cost is not the same. On a truck earning money six days a week, a part that fails at half life has cost you the labour twice plus the downtime twice, and the saving on the original purchase disappears immediately.
The practical split most UAE fleets settle on: genuine or the original supplier brand for anything in the braking, steering or air system and for anything buried deep enough that the labour dominates the bill. Quality aftermarket, meaning the recognised commercial-vehicle brands rather than an unbranded box, for filters, lamps, mirrors, body fittings and general wear items. Remanufactured for the big assemblies where the alternative is a five-figure dealer invoice.
Remanufactured is worth understanding properly because it is the route that saves the most money on a truck. A reman turbocharger, injector set, air compressor, alternator, starter or steering box is stripped, machined back to specification and rebuilt with new wear parts, and it usually carries a real written warranty. It is also usually sold on exchange, meaning the price assumes you hand over the old unit, and there is a core deposit if you do not. Agree the core value and the return window in writing before the part is delivered, because a core charge discovered afterwards is a genuine dispute.
Used has a place on an older truck, especially for cab panels, glass, mirrors, doors, seats and body fittings, and for major assemblies on a vehicle whose remaining life is short. It has no place in the braking or air system.
| Part group | Sensible route | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Brake linings, drums, chambers, valves | Genuine or OE supplier brand | Safety critical, and a re-do costs two days of work |
| Air dryer cartridges, filters, belts | Quality aftermarket | Consumable, well supplied, low failure cost |
| Turbo, injectors, compressor, alternator, starter | Remanufactured on exchange | Typically the largest saving against dealer, with a warranty |
| Clutch, gearbox, differential, engine | Reman or tested used with warranty | Depends entirely on the truck's remaining life |
| Cab panels, doors, glass, mirrors, seats | Used | Cosmetic and structural-light; the saving is large |
| Lamps, wiring, sensors | Quality aftermarket or genuine | Cheap parts fail early and cost diagnostic time |
Consumables are where a fleet's parts bill actually lives
One engine rebuild is memorable. Three hundred filter changes are what the money went on. For any fleet above a handful of vehicles the parts spend is dominated by items that are individually cheap and are bought over and over: oil, fuel and air filters, air dryer cartridges, brake linings and drums, clutch parts, leaf springs and bushes, propshaft universal joints, wheel seals, king pins, and tyres in the 22.5 inch commercial sizes.
Buying those to a schedule rather than to a breakdown is the difference between a supplier relationship and a series of emergencies. It also changes what you should be asking a supplier for: a standing price on the twenty part numbers you buy every month is a more valuable thing to negotiate than a discount on the one gearbox you buy every three years.
Heat and dust set the service intervals here rather than the manual. Air filters load far faster on a truck working a quarry, a construction site or the desert roads than on the mileage-based interval printed in the book, and an air dryer cartridge that is past its life pushes moisture and oil into the air system, which is how valves and chambers die early. Both are cheap parts with expensive consequences, which is exactly the profile you want on the shelf in your own store rather than on someone else's.
The other stock decision worth making deliberately is the breakdown kit. A fleet that holds its own air lines, fittings, a spare dryer cartridge, common lamps, fuses and a set of brake linings recovers a vehicle in hours rather than waiting for a counter to open.
Buying for uptime: what to establish with a supplier before you need them
Stock depth beats price list. A supplier who holds the item on the shelf and can put it in a car to your yard this afternoon is worth more than one who is fifteen per cent cheaper on a part that arrives in six days. Ask explicitly what is in stock now and what is an order, and get the answer before the truck is down rather than during.
Hours matter more in this trade than most. Parts streets and industrial areas here keep their own rhythm, with a long midday break in the hotter months and a shortened Friday, and a truck that fails at four on a Thursday afternoon is a different problem from one that fails on a Monday morning. Know which of your suppliers answers a phone outside counter hours before you need one to.
Get the exchange terms in writing. Which parts can be returned, within how many days, in what condition, and which cannot. Electrical parts and injectors are commonly sold no-return once fitted anywhere in this market, and that is reasonable, but it should be stated before the sale rather than after. The same goes for the core deposit on any exchange unit.
Finally, keep the paperwork. The part number and the supplier on every invoice, filed against the vehicle, is what lets you buy the same part again in one phone call, argue a warranty claim, and see which supplier's cheap alternator has failed twice in a year. On a fleet that record is worth more than any single negotiation.
Truck parts prices in the UAE (2026)
This table deliberately carries no dirham figures and no percentages. Truck part prices span chassis classes, makes and component groups far too widely for a band to mean anything, and we have no commercial-vehicle price data of our own to publish — the discount percentages quoted elsewhere on this site were measured on passenger cars and do not transfer to a Hino brake chamber. What the table gives instead is the order the routes usually fall in on cost for the same component, and the reason each one exists. The number that decides your purchase comes from a supplier quoting against your chassis number.
| Dealer or agency, genuinefull warranty, fastest for a current model | Dearest |
| Genuine through a parts supplierthe same part, without the agency's overhead | Below the agency |
| OE supplier brand, plain boxthe same factory that supplied the production line | Below genuine |
| Quality aftermarketsound for filters, lamps, body and wear items | Below OE |
| Remanufactured on exchangeturbos, injectors, compressors, starters — agree the core deposit | Below new, plus a core |
| Used or salvagedcab panels, glass, seats; never for braking or air | Cheapest |
The ordering holds for one component compared with itself. Across component groups it does not: a remanufactured turbo and an aftermarket filter are not on the same scale. Price the day of downtime first, then choose the route that gets the truck moving inside it.

Truck parts supplier in Musaffah — FAQs
- How many truck parts supplier businesses are there in Musaffah?
- Easy Auto lists 5 truck parts supplier businesses in Musaffah, UAE — each with ratings, reviews, opening hours and contact details.
- What is a top-rated truck parts supplier in Musaffah?
- MATRIX Heavy Equipment spare parts is among the highest-rated, with 4.8★ from 61 Google reviews.
- How do I choose the best truck parts supplier in Musaffah?
- Compare the Easy Auto Score on each listing — it blends real Google ratings, review volume and profile completeness — then check opening hours and contact the business directly from its page.
- What do I need to give a truck parts supplier to get a correct quote?
- The chassis number, the engine number and the engine model code, plus a photo of the part and of the manufacturer's plate. Commercial vehicles are built to order, so two trucks carrying the same model name can take different parts. The model year on its own is not enough to quote from.
- Which truck makes are supported in the UAE?
- The trade here covers the Japanese fleet makes (Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso), the European ones (Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania, MAN, DAF) and the Indian ones (Tata, Ashok Leyland), with new, OE-supplier, aftermarket, remanufactured and used routes available for most assemblies.
- Are remanufactured truck parts a false economy?
- Not on the big assemblies. A remanufactured turbo, injector set, air compressor, alternator or steering box is machined back to specification, rebuilt with new wear parts and sold with a written warranty. It is normally the largest saving available against a dealer price on a major unit, though how large varies too much by make and component for us to quote a figure — get it quoted against your chassis number. Agree the core deposit and its return window before delivery.
- Can I buy used truck parts safely?
- For cab panels, doors, glass, mirrors, seats and body fittings, yes, and the saving is large. For anything in the braking or air system, no. On a truck with a short remaining life, a tested used major assembly with a written warranty can also be the rational choice over a new unit worth more than the vehicle.
- How much stock should a fleet hold itself?
- Enough to recover a vehicle without waiting for a counter to open: air lines and fittings, a spare air dryer cartridge, common lamps and fuses, filters for the vehicles you run, and a set of brake linings. Everything else is better bought to a schedule from a supplier who holds it.
- Why do air dryer cartridges matter so much here?
- Heat and humidity load them faster than the mileage-based interval assumes, and a cartridge past its life pushes moisture and oil into the air system. That is how valves, chambers and brake components fail early. It is a cheap part with an expensive failure, so it belongs on the schedule rather than the breakdown list.
