Stellox suspension, braking and cooling parts in the UAE

Stellox is a private label. It designs and specifies parts and then has them made by other people, and the useful thing about it is that it publishes the arrangement instead of implying a factory it does not own. Its own material states more than 250 production facilities across twelve countries, and then names all twelve: Turkey, China, India, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Macedonia and Vietnam.

That level of disclosure is rare and it should change how you read the badge. A brand sourcing from 250 plants across four continents is not a single quality level with one name on it. It is a specification applied across a very wide supply base, and the honest expectation is that it will be stronger in the categories where the brand has depth and less consistent in the ones where it does not. A range that spans 700 product groups is not going to be uniformly anything.

It also means one thing that matters at a counter: the country of origin on two Stellox boxes can be entirely different, and neither is a fault. If a seller tells you Stellox is a German brand because a German plant appears on the list, the twelve-country list is exactly what disproves it.

If a company does not run the machines, its quality story has to be about control rather than craft, and that is what Stellox describes. It states a hundred per cent incoming inspection of raw materials and components, strict and uniform requirements applied across all its manufacturing sites rather than site by site, and its own laboratory and research centre for testing.

Take those as the claims they are. They are the manufacturer's description of its own process, they are not audited figures, and nobody outside the company has published a verification of them that we could find. What they do tell you is where the company thinks its value sits, which is in specification and inspection rather than in metallurgy.

The same page notes that Stellox has been a data supplier to the TecDoc catalogue since 2012 and was recognised as one in 2022. It is worth being precise about that, because it gets repeated at counters as though it were an endorsement. TecDoc is the catalogue system the independent aftermarket uses to match parts to vehicles. Supplying data to it means your part numbers and application data are properly published. It is not an approval, not a certification and not an original equipment credential.

Stellox publishes its warranty in more detail than most brands at this end of the market, and two features of it are worth reading before anything else.

The first is the period: twelve months across all product categories, with no mileage limitation, and the brand's own caveat that conditions depend on the type of part and on the market. Twelve months is short beside some competitors, and it is stated plainly rather than buried.

The second is the claims process, and this is the genuinely unusual part. Stellox describes a simplified procedure in which a customer can return, exchange or obtain a refund without having to confirm the defect with workshop documents. A completed claim form and documents proving purchase are still required. Anyone who has tried to claim on a part and been asked for a signed diagnosis from an approved workshop will understand why that matters more than a few extra months on paper.

The exclusions are published too, and they are the ordinary ones. They are set out below so you can see what is actually being promised rather than the headline.

Stellox lists its distributors on its own website, and two of them are in the UAE: APMG, at Dubai Logistics City, and Sayara parts, also in Dubai. That is a manufacturer naming a distributor, which is the only kind of distribution evidence this segment of the site treats as evidence at all.

It is worth explaining why that distinction is enforced so heavily. Any trading house can put up a page calling itself the authorised distributor for a brand. That is self-description, and reprinting it here would launder it into a fact. When the manufacturer publishes the name instead, the direction of the claim reverses, and that reversal is the whole test. The same page also lists Gulf distributors in Riyadh and Dammam, which gives a sense of how the region is covered.

Two limits on it, stated so nobody reads more into this than it holds. The manufacturer's word is distributor, not authorised or exclusive, and we have not upgraded it. And a distributor listing tells you the brand has a route into this market; it does not tell you that any particular part number is on a shelf in Dubai this morning.

Those two facts sit next to each other and both are true. Across the UAE shops in our own supplier records, not one names Stellox among the brands it carries. And Stellox itself names two distributors in Dubai.

The resolution is almost certainly boring: our records are built from what shops tell us they stock, and a brand that arrives through one or two importers into the trade rather than being displayed on a counter will show up in the manufacturer's list and not in ours. It is a distribution shape, not a contradiction.

What it means for you is that nothing here will tell you Stellox is easy to walk in and buy, since we have no evidence of that, and the businesses listed lower down appear on part-category grounds rather than because any of them told us they hold this badge. If you want Stellox specifically, the two names above are where the route into this market starts, and a phone call with a part number settles it faster than driving between counters.

One genuinely odd thing about Stellox is that its own about page does not say what country the company is from or who owns it. For a brand selling 70,000 part numbers into more than thirty countries, that is a conspicuous omission rather than an oversight.

Third-party sources connect the trademark to a company called ATH and S GmbH in Bielefeld, Germany. We checked what could be checked independently: German commercial register data does show a company of that name in Bielefeld, active, registered for the import, export and trade of auto parts, accessories and repair equipment. That is a trading company's registered purpose, which is consistent with a private label, and it is the entire extent of what we verified.

What we did not verify is the link itself. Nothing first-party places the Stellox trademark with that company, and we are not going to assert a corporate relationship on the strength of it. So the accurate position is: Stellox does not publish an owner, a German trading company of the name others attach to it does exist, and the connection between the two is unconfirmed here.
